2. Do It Yourself workstations: Our fully furnished workstations can be rented by the hour.

3. Bike mechanic’s training: one-​on-​one training and small, hands-​on classes.

4. Custom built bikes: We work with customers to design their bike then either assist them in building it up, or build it for them.

5. A curated selection of high quality parts and accessories: We emphasis high quality local and artisanal alternative products

6. Bike restoration: Complete sourcing of and restoration of vintage bikes and bike components.

7. Professional bike fitting.

8. Bike pick up and delivery service: For those too busy to bring their bike in for service

After several years of dreaming and planning, We opened our doors on February 1, 2015. So far so good

Meet the Business Owner

Damon S.

Business Owner

Damon has been restoring, repairing and racing motorcycles and bicycles for over forty years. He is a graduate of the United Bicycle Institute Professional Repair and Shop Operation course. Damon brings to Nomad his extensive experience and knowledge of mechanics and bicycle maintenance.

Damon also holds a Masters of Architecture degree from M.I.T. and has had a thirty year career as an Architect, fifteen of which were running his own Queens based firm, Nomad architecture. He is perhaps the only M.I.T. trained bike mechanic in western Queens

He has ridden a bike almost every day for several decades now and has a swelling collection of cool bikes.
