Before heading to the airport, we wanted NY pizza. Found this place on Unilocal and it had great reviews. The building wasn’t anything fancy and when the Über dropped us off, we didn’t have that high of hopes… until we ordered. We ordered the chicken pizza, which was amazing. The chicken was lightly breaded, it was traditional red sauce and cheese. I wish we would have had more time because I would’ve ordered one to take home! Also had the eggplant roll and pepperoni roll. Huge portions and we were definitely full when we left, and it was so inexpensive! A must-try!

Quality pizza that is at a very reasonable price. Restaurant is very convenient to the hotels in the surrounding area. I recommend coming here at least once if you are staying in a hotel nearby.

Cheap, fast, easy. Great pizza, amazing pastas, friendly service, and quiet. My husband and I stumbled upon Mike’s while coming home from a day of touring the city and we ate there two more times during our trip.

We stopped here with our three kids and they loved the slices. The sausage and peppers hoagie was spot on too. This place rocks!

This pizza is damn good. Some of the best pizza New York City has to offer, hands down. We tried this place on a whim, since it was just a short walk away from our hotel, and we were not disappointed. The scenery and the customer service were nice, nothing to write home about, but the pizza was a giant triangle of greasy delight. Pro tip, though: you don’t have to pay the tax if you pay in cash. It is included in your final cost.

Great local pizza and sandwich shop in Queens/Long Island City. Had a meatball hero which was great. My co-workers had pizza and gave it two thumbs up. Very inexpensive. Well worth a visit.

We were taking a gamble when we ordered eight regular pies from Mike’s Pizza, considering we had never had them ourselves. LIC’s proliferation of options for New York’s favorite dinner meant there was no shortage of places for us to consider for our pizza party. After weighing our options between personal favorites of ours, and neighborhood darlings, we decided to go with the wisdom of the crowd. We weren’t let down. Everyone LOVED it. We were frequently asked where the pizza was from. All eight pies came nice and hot. A balance of just the right amount of grease-to-cheese-to-sauce ratio led to me devouring fives slices on my own. I like a regular pizza as much as the next person, but I generally enjoy a good topping or two. And if you put a grandma slice in front of me, fuggedaboutit. But even Mike’s cheese slices are fantastic. It’s not fancy, but I’m sick of pizzerias in New York trying to be. If you’re looking for a excellent but inexpensive pizza without all the frou-frouness that’s become all too common, this is the place to go.

My son wanted some pizza early on Saturday. WETRIED Mikes and we really liked it. Great pizza, great service and great prices. We are from Jersey and we have tried a lot of pizza. This place held its own. They have a nice menu but I can only speak to the pizza. What ever you order I don’t think you can go wrong.

I had two slices of chicken pizza just now and it was really good. I like the thinner crust. I’ll tell you I’ll be back. The service was quick and the pizza was decent. I’d like to try more of their selections based on what I ate. The place was a pizza joint — but a good one! If you like thin crust pizza you’ll like it. It’s not excellent but it’s good. No ambiance whatsoever but that’s fine for a quick meal.

Decent pizza(by the slice or pie), cold beverage(beer), inexpensive. What more can you ask for. Maybe some outside seating?

Our first pizza in New York so we had nothing to compare. I had read about it in hotel reviews and thought it was great only for convenience. It’s a small hole in the wall family run business, which is usually the type of places we like to go. When we walked in there were area locals eating, and some picking up for takeout — 2 good signs. We ordered the 14″ cheese/Italian sausage/mushroom. It was delicious. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy. I heard once that New York pizzas are never greasy. This pizza fit the bill. They also sell individual slices, and other items. There is a nice selection of soft drinks, some beer and wine. There are a few tables but this is more of a takeout place. The price was right too. I later read the Unilocal reviews and found most consistent with our own experience. I highly recommend this place. One last thing — great customer service.

I needed my pizza Friday for lunch, and wanted to try some place new. I found Mike’s Pizza through my Unilocal app. Situated near the 39th Ave. N/Q subway stop, and in the backyard of several hotel chains, there is absolutely no way I would have stumbled upon it otherwise. I revised my original order of 2 plain slices to 1 plain/1 pepperoni once I saw the fresh pepperoni pie come right out of the oven. I love that they bake the pepperoni on the pie from the beginning instead of tossing cold pepperoni on to a plain slice, and reheating it(which we all know, never works). I did end up preferring the plain slice to the pepperoni, as the pepperoni quality was low. Both slices skewed towards over-salted, and I love salty food. So those complaints aside, there was a good amount of flavor, and the crust was amazingly thin, almost as thin as Joe’s Pizza in the West Village. It’s a pretty classic NY pie, so I can definitely see coming back another Friday for lunch.

Visiting from Houston and simply had to have a pie before leaving. Mikes did not disappoint. Had it delivered to local hotel hot and tasty. Crust just right, good and crispy. Strong recommend. We bought three pies including a Special and meat lovers. No grease, just perfect all. Don’t think too hard on it, just order it. They take CC and deliver is fast. Enjoy.

I eat a lot of pizza from all over New York city and this place was great. It is a simple sort of run down place which I like, with amazing 3 inch marble tables. I found this place looking out my hotel window and I am lucky for it as the pizza was great and it comes in many sizes like an old time pizzeria. I asked for it well done and it came perfectly crispy. It was a REALNYC pizzeria. I even like the rate of seasoning coming or of the shaker. If you are from out of town or from another country in one of I.i.c. many hotels, this place is a good place to visit in NYC.

Came here bc it was close to hotel we are staying at. Solid pizza and really cheap, especially by NY standards. Husband is boring so only tried pepperoni pozza, but house special looked incredible. Fries were nice and crisp. Could have used some more salt and pepper, and a better beer selection, but overall, not bad!

A great pizza place with some room to hang out. Would have liked to try dessert but oh well. They also conveniently label their spices you can put on the pizza, the first place I have ever seen do this. I like that it’s located in an area where there’s very little in the way of food places around but there are hungry working people.

The house special pizza was delicious, great combination of veggies and meat. Only downside was that the crust got soggy by my second slice, but I think that’s hard to avoid when there are so many toppings. The 12 inch was a perfect size for two people or maybe one extra hungry person. I will definitely be back!

Strolled in here in my break. The people are wonderful here. They had beef pattys and I had to buy one. It was fresh it was hot and delicious! The fountains drinks are good too, not flat at all. Which is a plus. No one wants a flat orange fanta. The place is spacious, super cheap in a good way and spacious. Large enough to bring the homies and there is a TV! Nice!!! No complaints

Excellente adresse.

Another great pie from Mike’s LIC!!! Manuel and the whole team always treat me like family and I appreciate it. If you’re visiting NYC and need to «check that pizza box» you can’t do better than Mike’s. Try the House Special, it’s loaded!
