We serve traditional Peruvian cuisine filled with strong flavors that take you right back home to the heart of Peru. We never skimp on ingredients, no matter how difficult they are to attain. We believe in doing each dish justice by staying true to the traditional flavors and ingredients. We offer a variety of intricate, regional dishes and some of our most popular items are the Octopus, the Stuffed Hot Peppers, the Ceviche and the Arroz con Pollo.

We also have a full bar with the very best cocktails made with Peruvian pisco, a pomace brandy from Peru.

Business Owner

Alejandro grew up in the restaurant business, as his family owns the oldest Peruvian restaurant in New York which has been in business since 1976. He always had a love for food and was always passionate about sharing his culture and cuisine with the people around him. Alejandro enjoys serving the community at Jora Restaurant & Bar where authenticity is the driving force of the business. He hopes to provide you with such a positive experience that you’ll remember to return to Jora whenever you’re in search for a traditional Peruvian meal!
