Bagel Guys Deli

I just moved to Long Branch from Long Island (where, you know, bagels are kinda a big deal) and I decided to try this place for breakfast. I was very impressed. I will definitely be going back!

The customer service at this place is so good that I’m raising my review. They have plenty of staff, it’s clean and efficient.
I had to place a last minute order for a birthday to be picked up the next day. They could not have been more accommodating. It was waiting for me when I arrived.

Staff was nice and place was clean but they call themselves the bagel guys and sell stale bagels.

Try the egg white, scooped out whole wheat bagel for a not so stuffed afterwards breakfast sanwhich

Finally a bagel place you want to go to. There’s another up the road on Ocean Ave but they don’t like Bennys and show it. Not going there again once I found this spot. Friendly place for localvores and townies. Thanks guys!

Very cute, clean breakfast and lunch deli. Excellent service, staff is calm and kind and on top of it and the food is fresh. I highly recommend this place for casual good eats. :)

SO good… we order from Bagel Guys at work and our bagel sandwiches are always delivered promptly and, more importantly, just the way we ordered them! We’ve eaten at the store as well and if you’re in West End during beach season would highly recommend getting take away of bagels/​coffee/​etc. to bring down on the sand!

I’ll never know what to make of this place. The bagels and the breakfast sandwiches are good (side note, they buy their bagels from Hot Bagel). I’ve enjoyed their turkey bacon as well, and it’s cool that they deliver. However, I feel they are completely missing the college market they are trying to target. They close earlier on weekends (when college kids have more time to get food off campus), they’ll close before dinner hours (when many students are getting out of classes or right before they go to classes). It feels like they’re trying to get student business but aren’t open at the right times to do so. I mean, you’ll be happy with the food you order and they’re very friendly, but if they went for a more lunch-​dinner time, they’d do better in my opinion. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted their food in the afternoon and walked up to find them closed.

Have rolled into here for both breakfast and lunch. Bagels are good and it’s a cool spot to chill at. Although I think the prices are a bit steep for bagel sandwiches in comparison to the local competition. Guys in there are really friendly though and food always comes out quick

Very disappointed with my visit to Bagel Guys Deli. To begin the staff is very rude. The food is nothing better than average. Don’t even think of getting a bagel here around noon because they’re either stale or sold out.

Before I begin I would like to say that I never write reviews on anything and this is my first time writing a review on Unilocal for Bagel Guys Deli. I just transferred to Monmouth University and I was searching for a good bagel/​breakfast place. I found Bagel Guys Deli and read the plethora of questionably positive reviews on Unilocal and decided to give it a try.
I went to Bagel Guys on Tuesday 1÷20÷2014 and I had an awful experience. Actually awful is an understatement. When I went to the counter I wasn’t greeted promptly and had to wait for the girl behind the counter to stop flirting and joking around with the other guys there. When she finally acknowledged me I placed my order and she told me I owe her close to $ 14 for one sausage egg and cheese bagel, fries, and medium coffee. A little pricey for just one sandwich when I can go to other bagel stores and get twice the food for the same price! My food took about 23 minutes to make (no exaggeration) which would make sense if they were busy, but NO ONE was in the store!
So I decided to use the restroom, I had to find out where it was cause no one was paying attention when I approached them to ask. When I came back from the bathroom I found my bag of food thrown on a random table and no one even mentioned whether or not it’s my food. When I asked them if this was my food no one answered me because they were too busy talking to each other. Makes no sense really when they had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do and there were 5 employees, 4 guys and 1 girl, yet no one was available to answer me or even tell me if this was my food and instead they just threw it on a table and left it for me.
As for the food itself, the damn bagel was burned and felt like it was there from the day before! I mean come on, the terribly unprofessional customer service they gave to a new customer is one thing, but even the bagel was burned and that made the sandwich terrible to eat and certainly not worth close to $ 14!
All in all, I will NEVER cross foot in this unprofessional and disgusting bagel store again! I guess I’ll have to continue my search to find a good bagel store/​breakfast place by Monmouth University.

I get a delivery from Bagel Guys at least once a week and they are on point! It’s always on time and I get exactly what I ask for. And the food is still hot when I get it, which I appreciate a lot. I love them! I hope they expand!

Delicious food, great service. Always a good vibe and quick service. Overall perfect place to have breakfast and lunch.

So I returned for breakfast. I’ve had better. The plain bagel tasted more like a roll & the egg was too dry for me even though I have ketchup on the sandwich. Doubt I’ll go back for breakfast.

This bagel place stunned me from the start! Their is nothing better than being hung over getting a butter soaked everything bagel toasted with porkroll egg and cheese stuffed inside of it! New Jerseys hangover cure! And they love to support the community so you guys rock!

I am a bagel snob. No Panera for me. This place is now on my list for great bagels and friendly staff. Nice job.

I have never paid $ 8.51 for a tuna sandwich in my life, and I never will again!
Too expensive, and they gave a pre portioned ice cream scoop sized amount of tuna.

I love this place! Great food! Great atmosphere! Great staff! What else could one want?!?
