I’m getting married Saturday, April 9, 2016. I just came from a tasting with Alonso. It went amazing. The food was so good we honestly had a hard time deciding. Alonso was extremely attentive to our needs and I’m so happy there is one more thing off of the to do list. I was also pleasantly surprised at the freshness and presentation of the food. This just may be the best decision I’ve made so far.

…gourmet burger starting @ $ 4, most excellent! Open at seven, perfect. I’d come in on one of my off Fridays to eat here.

There’s a new Sherriff in town and they are going by the name ZO’S CAFÉ and GRILL! I used to eat across the street from work in the Molina/Flour/JBL building but as of last Friday they snapped there doors shut because they didn’t want to renew the lease. Good for them NOTSOGOOD for all the employees in the surrounding buildings. Some people bring their lunch but several DON’T so now we were forced to find a place to eat lunch if and when you didn’t feel like going out. Some people take the bus to work or get dropped off and it’s made it a bit difficult in the last week to figure out WHAT I was going to have for lunch! A few months ago this place opened up and I wasn’t impressed! The other place wasn’t spectacular either but I wasn’t singing the praises of this place either. I got a salad that was a bit lack luster and had WWWAAAYYYTOOOOO much salad dressing on it and everything was clumped together. Not ZZZ-BEST bunny food I have had but it did its job and I wasn’t hungry. But this place was a definite last resort. Once I got sweet potato fries to go with a burger from INO that the building management catered to say thanks for putting up with all the dust during remodel and they were ok. I mean they are fries. They were not over cooked like most peeps tend to do so they passed the test. Today I had a grilled turkey sand with Swiss cheese on squaw. Or at least I asked for squaw but they gave me what they wanted me to have which was regular white bread. It was good again noting over the top. I guess for lunch they pass and it’s NICE they are close but they are NOT my number one choice especially since building management across the street has a food truck that come every day. They change every day but we shall see how long that last. If I hate the particular truck then this is always an option and will get me through till I can get something else. The STAFF is REALLYNICE and FRIENDLY and there is amply seating as well as a FLATSCREENTV which is probably MOREEXCITING than the food at least for me. It’s NICE to look at The Doctors and get some good info while I’m eating lunch! It breaks up the day! Overall they will do in a pinch.

Best food around! I love the fish on Fridays, which beats out local seafood restaurants in the area that charge 5 times more. Haven’t had anything that wasn’t fantastic, from the breakfast menu to Taco Tuesdays. The Poblano Soup has a flavor you will not forget. The Jalapeño Cole Slaw has the right amount of spice. And the brownies and cookies are a real bonus.

I like the prices, I like the location, I LOVETHEFOOD. They will pretty much make anything(café and grill standards). If they have it, they make. I go here so often, they know my name and I love that side of customer service. :)

Food is always delicious & inexpensive! A must eat, when you’re in the neighborhood. I know the head chef personally, he’s a good guy & great chef.
