I just moved into the neighborhood and had to find a new groomer for my papillon mix … So I used Unilocal to find one! A few diff ones came up in my area but I started with this one bcs it is the closest. It was my Friday off and fortunately Wags to Whiskers was able to squeeze me in the same day (although I told them I had Sat open too in case they couldn’t fit me in.) The next availability was at the same time as another appointment, but they were accommodating and took my dog in 30 min early. I love that they hv a groomers report and my groomer Michelle said my dog was sweet! Makes me feel like my pooch was well taken care of! Pricing was fair. It’s a little more than what I pay for at Petco but the package includes more. I love the friendly staff and that I was able to meet the groomers doing the work when I picked up. My dog came home smelling amazing and with a cute little bow. I will definitely be coming back here!

These guys did a great job with my cat. The quote they originally gave me included the furminator treatment. They did the treatment, but didn’t get much hair off, so only charged me for the basic service.
I picked up my clean kitty and he was relatively unphased by the whole process. I think the cost was around $ 40 or so for a wash, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and blow dry. Not bad.
Don’t forget to tip your groomer!

Love W2S! I’ve been bringing my dog Lobo for almost 5 years. When I first adopted him, I was worried about getting him groomed. He was very skittish and seemed weary of men. The people at W2W took him in and took great care of him. They even told me what a good boy he was. So cute! He’s a husky and has TONS of fur… everywhere. They clean him right up. He always comes back looking shiny, clean and smelling great. It relieves a lot of stress when you know your furry kids are in a safe and caring environment. Thanks W2W!

I am very thankful for the staff who work here. They are kind, knowledgeable, and caring. It feels like a neighborhood place, and they do remember both you and your pet. The services are priced in the middle range, but for a pet who is considered another family member, it is worth it. Make reservations early near the holidays and weekends or you and your pet will be out of luck.

The only place my puppy Gavin will let cut his nails, the staff is awesome!

As a third time client of wags to whiskers, I would like to register a genuine complaint. After two visits my dog scooted around because of too close grooming in the private area. When I went today, I specifically mentioned this and asked that they be very careful with her. When I went to pick her up, I mentioned it again. They assured me that they had taken every precaution. I will never take my dogs there again. I don’t think they paid any attention at all. My poor dog is suffering tonight.

My dogs needed dentals. However after more horror stories than I can count about dogs passing away after anesthetic dentals, especially tons of Pugs from Pug friends, I delayed, and delayed ever taking mine for one. My vet had told me that my mixed pup had some tartar and needed one, and I knew my Pug really needed one. He is now eight and had a spot that had a lot of plaque build up.
I have tried brushing his teeth at times, with little to no success. I have a spray that is supposed to be good but he fights me majorly on it now. I noticed another pet supply shop offered anesthetic free dentals and I was getting close to calling in, when a friend was notified of Wags to Whiskers and set an appointment up for her dog. I decided to join in on the same day.
She told me she was told that it is $ 80, or $ 125 with a vet on site. I am not sure on the details of this, because when I inquired I was told the $ 125 quote only with the vet. That was fine because that was what I wanted. You may want to inquire yourself if that is something you want to consider or ask about.
These appointments are offered on the first Saturday of every month. I decided to start with my Pug as he needed it the most. My friend had a 10:00 appointment and mine was at 10:10. Wow. Fast!
When I walked in her pup was already going through her dental. This place is a grooming facility, with little dog foods or snacks. Grooming is what their business is for. When you walk in, you see the whole place at work grooming the pups. The dentals take place in the same area. A lady was on the ground with my friend’s Pug, and she was wrapped in a towel. She sat Indian style while she gently worked on her, and the vet was sitting right there for observation. I really liked that. Her Pug was not freaked out at all. I did have to chuckle on how funny she looked with just a towel and a head poking out of it. This helps avoid the pups from fighting you when working on their teeth. They recommended pulling a tooth (I am not sure why as I was only half listening). They did it right then, no hassle, no mess, and no extra charge. If antibiotics are needed, they recommend it to you in advance and it is a $ 25 extra charge.
My Pug was next. I knew he would be a little more trouble, and he was, but not much at all. They said that he was very cooperative. It went so fast it felt like I was barely there. I wish I got a picture of how funny he looked at himself poking out of a towel but I did not get a chance. I am not sure what they do with big dogs, and none were there during my visit for dentals. For my Pug he had a missing tooth, a dead tooth which they did not pull. (Not sure why but I guess it is not an issue), and unfortunately he has some pockets which if I remember correctly are some thick tartar that is making the gums recede some. They told me where these are located and asked me to focus on brushing these the most. His are on his bottom «fangs». They also recommend how often you should bring your pup back. They recommended six months for mine. You get a copy of the chart that shows which teeth are doing what, when to come, how cooperative they are, etc.
They recommend dental sprays for your pup as opposed to gels, and with chlorahexadine (spelling?). My dogs are fighting the spray more and more so they suggested spraying it on gauze and wiping their teeth. I will definitely be trying this. My spray does not have that ingredient they suggested so I need to look around.
My dog came out just fine and happy, not traumatized at all. All this, and the gentleness, with no anesthetics needed. I am not sure why most vets cannot do the same. I highly recommend this place for your pup’s dentals. My Pug had a spot with major plaque build up and it is pretty much gone! They said about 99%. I will definitely be back with my mixed breed pup and will continue to go here for their dental needs.

Just updating my review to tell people that 2 years later. still bringing my Maty girl here and feeling the same! Linda is the only person that’s works on Maty and she does an amazing job. The staff that answers th ed phone is so helpful… they have an answer to all my questions and are always so helpful.
Still highly recommend wags to whiskers to all pet owners!

Wonderful experience for my gentle giant for a great price. Brush, bath, teeth and nails. Bear has never looked so good. We will be back.

I’ve been taking my dog here for a while now. The staff is very friendly every time we walk in, and I’ve always felt comfortable handing my little guy off. HOWEVER, I’ve noticed a pattern after our visits with Wags to Whiskers. After he gets home, and for a day or two after his appointment, my dog is VERY lethargic. The first time it happened, he was lethargic and had a fever. I figured he must’ve caught something while there, so I didn’t think much of it (of course I called the vet). But every visit after that, it has been the same situation – a sad, lethargic pup. He also had no appetite after his recent visit. This is VERY concerning and has me wondering what they do with the dogs and if anyone else has a similar problem with their four legged friend.

First time customer. Our dog was treated well and the grooming was excellent. Will use them again. Tired of having the groomers treat our dog like cattle making her sit in a kennel for hours before they start working on her. Won’t mention names.

Wags has been taking care of my girlie for 5 years now! I’ll never forget the 1^st time, the day I rescued her. She was so matted & stinky. 2 hours before closing, they took her in and worked extra just to help out!!! Thanks Joanna & all. Like I said that 1^st day, «you have a customer for life»!!!

I have been taking my dog Toby to Wags to Whiskers for 8 years now, not sure what has taken me so long to give them a great review. From the staff in the front to our favorite groomer Mindy, everything about this place is wonderful. They treat my pet exactly as I would want her to be treated when leaving her in the care of someone else. Pricing is great and my dog always looks and smells amazing when she comes home!

Took my dog to the groomer on 2÷4÷15 expecting nothing bad to happen to him since he has been going there for years. This is the first review I have ever written but I feel strongly about what happened to my dog and want all to be aware. When I went to pick him up, one of the boy went to go get him from the back. I heard several Unilocal coming behind the door and was hoping it was not from my dog. He was happy to see me so I didn’t think anything of it. On my way home, I noticed there were blood on my hand. I turned him over and found two large gashes on his belly. I was so mad I drove back to the groomer to find out what happened. They didn’t give me any justification of what happened besides that they had hired a new guy and the guy was coming up with lame excuses for what happened to him. I paid $ 60 to have my dog taken care of and not abuse. He is a very timid dog and have never had any issues with any of the groomers so it was shocking to see him bleeding. I will never go back there again. He also got flees from this place which hadn’t happened in the past so I am not sure what is going with that place. I will never ever take my dog to the groomer again.

Linda is ah-​mazing with our adorable, but grumpy, little fuzz ball. He hates getting his nails trimmed, but she is the best with him. She not only gets his feet all cleaned up, but she goes the extra mile and trims his face and gives him a quick brush. We LOVE Linda! :)

We love Wags To Whiskers! Linda is the best groomer — she is SO SWEET! My Yorkie wanted to lay down in her bath and during grooming. Linda was so gentle with her and accommodated my sweet girl instead of forcing her to stand.

this place is awesome! I can’t believe it’s just walking distance from my house and i have never noticed it before, until recently.
The people here are incredibly nice and the owner is so warm and so friendly. I brought both of my little babies here and they treated them with so much love. Aww, makes my heart warm just thinking about the service this place provides!

Don’t let Mindy groom your pup! I always wondered why my dog was terrified of going to the groomer (turns out Mindy is extremely rough on her! which was told to us by an employee of the place)

Smarty, our malty poo, had the best spa-​day experience at Wags and Whiskers. My boyfriend and I are so lucky to have found this place for her first groom. The staff was very caring, gentle and friendly. Great location to drop off our dog before doing some shopping and also very clean! Smarty is still adjusting to her new look, but we are greatly satisfied with her outcome and her groomer’s job well done! Smarty gives them 5 paws and is looking forward to her next visit!

Never go back to Wag To Whiskers again! The groomer there cut my Tanya’s left ear. Just wonder if they are professional.
My daughter and I took Tanya (Golden Retriever) and Sasha (German Shepherd Mixed) in on Thursday 10÷3÷13. Sasha refused taking their service. Lucky her! Tanya is such a sweetheart. She trusted people but not anymore from this bad experience. Yeah! Dog can not tell the owner what was going on in the back behind the door. A couple of days later which was Saturday evening, I found three wounds behind her floppy ear and was already infected. This is so wrong. If it was an accident, I expect them to be honest with me so that I could have taken care of my beloved dog properly from day one but no I found out a couple of days later. That got me really upset. I could not get in touch with anyone in the store until Tuesday because they are closed on Sunday and Monday.
How would they feel if it happened to theirs? Who regulates the grooming business?
It can be a lawsuit when our hairdresser do it to us. What is for our pets?
