True Beauty Wellness “a Skin Beautique”

This little gem of a «beautique» is a real find! Located in Belmont Shore on 2^nd street amongst chic boutiques and awesome restaurants lies this relaxation oasis. Lisa Marie was my massage therapist and she was amazing! I have had my share of massages on cruise ships and at world renowned spas. Lisa Marie’s massage exceeded those I’ve ever experienced. Massage utopia — from her skilled massage technique to the warm towels as well as reflexology on the hands and feet. Lisa Marie is a fabulous massage professional and her services are not to be missed!

Almost a year later —left with several areas of permanent scarring on my forehead. Requests for help with resurfacing or peel service to remedy have went unanswered…

Great service, Stacy was so nice and did an awesome job. In fact everyone is super nice. I will definitely return, there prices are reasonable and they seem to always have specials. I haven’t had a facial in over 10 years and I’m so glad I had a great experience.

Stacy and Lisa Marie are fantastic!!! If you want a great peel, micro, and/​or facial this is your place!!! They provide great service and even have a deal card where you get a free facial or massage after visiting them ten times!!! They send out awesome deals via email. This cozy place is a must! I’ve loved it since day one!

Fantastically cute, lovely, professional place off 2^nd St. in Long Beach. It didn’t feel too small — in fact, it felt very cozy and welcoming. So glad I found them! Stacey did a FABULOUS job with my facial — she was accommodating, listened to my skin concerns, very gentle (I fell asleep during my facial — that rarely happens!), and left my skin looking refreshed and glowing and healthy. Thank you, Stacey. I hope to be back soon!

Wow! This place is adorable and a secret find in Belmont Shore with its upstairs venue. I had a facial today with Jesica and it was very relaxing and my skin looks amazing. Jesica gives you a wonderful experience from beginning to end. She is very attentive and concerned about actually making it a great facial experience. I’ll be back there for sure!

Very friendly staff and great massage. The interior isn’t fancy but if you’re going just to get a decent priced massage like myself I don’t care what it looks like as long as it’s clean which it was. I would love to come back again.

After doing research on several places around Long Beach where I could get a massage, I chose this one as the price for a deep tissue was in my budget.
Upon entering I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and offered a drink. The spa was tidy, SO clean (which is very important to me), and smelled great!
I had Mary as my masseuse, who was fantastic! She asked me about my neck pain (which is what I was in for) and said she would focus on that area. She also took out a bunch of knots from my back which left me feeling amazing!!!
I wish I had more time but I had only reserved a 30 minute massage :(but it still felt as though it was enough time to get the full benefits of the deep tissue.
I had such a great experience! I will definitely be back at this spa :)

Just left a wonderful massage! I’m considering a membership. The place is small so you might play a bit of phone tag to schedule (you’re also supporting a local business, yay!) but they are prompt in returning calls. The staff is super nice and the tea is amazing. Check it out.

This was such a treat! Found them on living social during the holiday season. Swedish massage, aromatherapy, hot stones, wine and chocolates! It’s located in a quaint one bedroom apartment and the ambiance is perfection. It excites all 5 senses of the body. Lisa Marie and Stacey are amazing. They offer you tea prior to your service and water right after. I did the Swedish massage and I think a facial is next on my list. Free street parking on park street too! Enjoy:)

Took my daughter for her first facial and massage as well I had a massage. I loved the cozy atmosphere and the staff were very nice. The facial was amazing for my daughter and the massage hit the spot. We will definitely be back.

Came in for a massage and facial, booking process was so easy and the spa is beautiful! I had Lisa Marie for my massage, and Stacy for my facial, both are amazing as well as camille the receptionist! I left feeling so relaxed! I already booked my next massage and facial! Thank you ladies!

I have been to this spa several times for various services: facial, enzyme moisturize, massage and waxing. I have been more than pleased with all of the services I have received. Stacey gives a facial that will send you straight to heaven, it is one of the the greatest things I have ever experienced! I love this place and recommend it to anyone who is in search of an all natural skin treatment and wellness spa.

Great little spa in Belmont shore, the staff is warm and friendly and make you feel at home as soon as you enter. Stacy was my masseuse and she was wonderful, knowledgable and even took the time to show me some useful stretches to help with my back issues. The owner Jacqueline is sweet and friendly while still professional. I will definitely be back!

Love this spa! Quaint little business tucked away in Belmont Shore. They offer packages on their website comparable to Amazon local or Groupon deals. Its worth it to check them out!

I had purchased a living social 2 visit spa package and pre scheduled both appointments. I arrived for the first appointment 15 minutes early. I was informed that I was not on the appointment calendar. I provided my vouchers and she looked up my information. Yes, I was in their system but somehow I was not on the calendar.
She did try and offer me an appointment an hour later. Unfortunately I had other plans for later. So I cancelled my living social vouchers. There are so many spa’s in Long Beach that are easier to get to and find parking than this one in Belmont Shores on the busy congested 2^nd Street anyhow.
I cannot vouge for their quality of treatments but just providing my experience. Lesson learned, call to confirm all appointments prior to making the drive to their location.

I came here today with a LivingSocial deal that had expired (but it still had monetary value, so essentially a $ 39 credit). The boutique is actually in an old apartment, but they did an awesome job of retaining the homey feel while creating a spa ambience. I loved the décor and instantly felt at home.
My esthetician was Lauren and she was very friendly and efficient. She was not overly chatty during the massage, applied the perfect amount of pressure, and left me feeling more relaxed than I have in a long time. I asked her questions here and there about tense areas and trouble spots, she she never hesitated with an answer. It was one of the best massage experiences ever.
My friend’s esthetician was Stacey and my friend loved her massage as well! We enjoyed wine and chocolate after the massage (good wine and quality dark chocolate) and I will fully admit. I didn’t want to leave!

I was first introduced to True Beauty Wellness almost 2 years ago (at their previous location) through a living social deal. They have really great and reasonably priced packages through living social and also through their Facebook page. The new location on 2^nd street is very easy to access and parking is easy to find. The new location still offers a warm and inviting ambiance which makes you feel relaxed and pampered before your experience even begins.
Originally I began going to True Beauty for massages with Stacy and then she introduced me to PCA skin peels. Stacy is very professional and knowledgeable as a massage therapist and esthetician. I have a lot of back pain due to stress and work; Stacy always finds my trouble spots and works those areas very well while still continuing a smooth flow to the rest of my body. The whole experience is very relaxing and comfortable. I really love the sound of the fountains and relaxing music playing in the background.
As for my skin, I am very prone to breakouts and oiliness. Before True Beauty and Stacy, I didn’t know the true benefits of a facial /​peel. I began getting regular PCA skin peels with Stacy and I began to notice a big improvement in the texture of my skin. My scars began to fade and my skin was smoother. I do not get as many breakouts as before either. Stacy always explained the steps during the process, and helped me to understand my skin better. I would definitely recommend Stacy on your next visit! You will not be disappointed.

I was running VERY late. The ladies at True Beauty were very understanding and accommodating. Even though I was late, she didn’t have to shave any time off my appointment, which was VERY appreciated!
My appointment was with Lauren. She did a GREAT job and made me feel very comfortable. This was my second massage I have ever had and also the best! I appreciated that she wasn’t talkative unless asking me relevant questions to the appointment. The last massage I had (not at True Beauty) the lady did not shut up.
