Since 1980 beginning as Topper Realty Corp. in Long Beach, NY, we have earned our reputation as one of Long Island’s best and most reliable residential property management firms. In 2012, we changed our firm’s name to TRC Property Management to better reflect the services we provide. We understand the complexities of modern building operations and have the expertise and commitment to give you confidence and peace of mind. Business Owner

Founded in 1977 as Metzger & Topper Realty by Marilyn Topper and Jerry Metzger, the firm quickly became one of the area’s leading sales and rental offices. As many of Long Island’s multi-​family dwellings converted to Condo and Co-​op ownership, Marilyn Topper decided to put her expertise in building operations to use and in 1980 began managing her first properties.

In 1992, Jerry Metzger retired and Brian Topper, Marilyn’s son, joined the firm. Brian is a New York State Attorney specializing in Real Estate and Finance. In 1993, the firm changed its name to Topper Realty Corp. and, in 1998, Sharon Topper, Marilyn’s daughter, also an Attorney, joined the firm. As the company expanded, Fred Brandenberger and Gus Manessis were added to the staff as Property Managers.
