This is a great support center — affordable and resourceful. You get to talk to other s who share your same concerns — which is great but typical of other support groups. What sets Transitions apart is the facilitator — she is very likeable, a great listener, gives excellent advice and feedback… she guides the group through more than talk — she offers resources in the form of handouts and exericises so that members can actually work on their issues on their own time as well. I’m very thankful for the positive impact that Transitions has made in my life — much more than any self help book I’ve ever read — for sure.

Hi. At the end of 2014 I had gone through some very challenging times, and was looking for someplace that offered the help and support I needed. I went online and found Transitions Center, and their prices were so reasonable (which was great since I am on a tight budget). Well, a few weeks after I contacted them, I signed up for the 10-​week self-​esteem group. After the very first group session, it was clearly evident that this group was going to give me the help I needed. I will be going back there in a few weeks for another 10-​wk course. Our counselor, Amberlynne is effective, knowledgeable, a great group facilitator and a caring person! I would highly recommend Transitions Center!

As someone else mentioned in a review, I never thought I’d need to seek professional counseling but I’m very glad I did.
My situation was between my little family. Sometimes when raising children you can experience different sets of challenges and there’s not a nifty little manual specifically designed for you and your scenario. For that reason, we contacted Transitions and started our family counseling once a week. We were able to see results very quickly. My family and I are not perfect in any means but I can honestly say that are family was positively impacted by this experience. It’s been an amazing blessing! My family has never been so talkative!
I had an amazing experience with Transitions. Amber was very patient, very polite, and a pleasure to work with. Amber is a good listener and a person who can teach you how to approach things from a different angle without making you feel any less worth.

This place is amazing. Some people aren’t looking for traditional therapy and Transitions is perfect for real and practical solutions including feedback and support from peers. The meeting space cozy, and the staff is knowledgeable, caring, and down-​to-​do earth. It’s easy to feel comfortable here and I think the lessons and the group structure are ideal. The session prices are super affordable and they have tons of group topics too! Definitely check this place out. They’re wonderful!

I discovered Transitions after my father died in March 2013. I never considered myself the support group-​type, but I am so happy I took a leap of faith and joined their 10-​week grief group. I found it tremendously therapeutic to be around others who were suffering with similar feelings. Amber, our patient, kind, and compassionate leader, helped to guide us through our difficult journey, and ultimately, helped us to see some glimpses of hope.
If you are going through a rough time in your life, I highly recommend trying out one of their support groups. You have nothing to lose and it is very affordable.

I was introduced to this place by a friend after my wife passed away. It really is a great place to come to meet up with others going through the same situation. They do groups for all kinds of things like anxiety support, divorce, grief, etc. The office/​meeting room is nice and Amber who facilitated our group, was awesome and very friendly, supportive and really makes you feel welcome. If you are looking for group support as an alternative to or in addition to individual therapy, I would definitly check this placemout. Cant beat the price too.
