Trader Joe’s

TJ is the best, price and quality. Great customer service. BK space is small and they are moving to a bigger location, parking is a real bear. Give it a 4.5 review based on parking and store size, but if you go during off hours it isn’t bad. Keep finding new foods especially in the frozen food section that are just awesome. Most amazing thing is that the prices are so reasonable and yet the food is of exceptional quality and ingrediants. I have been in WF many times trying to give them a shot and to find out what all the buzz is about them. I find it pricey and their stores hard to navigate, they have more selection and TJ has to limit its selection because of space limitations. The food court and bar at WF is pretty nice thing though. So for some i see the one stop, get a hot meal and shop for groceries as very convenient. I will say i had the hummus at WF and it is pretty amazing. I have a few things that are a must at TJ, almond biscotti, milk, yogurt, CS wine, curry mix, FO soup, and a whole variety of their frozen selections. The produce is excellent, zucchini, yams, potatoes and are comparable to Winco in price in some cases which blows my mind The eggs are excellent and i found them cheaper than WM. I like the cereal although the price point is higher than other TJ brands, although the quality justifies it. I have only found a couple things that I tried and wouldn’t buy again. But 9 out of 10 things i try at TJ would buy on a regular basis. Two sisters live in So. Oregon and they just opened up a nice one up there, I keep selling them on shopping there. TJ as voted by a recent pole is my number one supermarket, although i do supplement it with other supermarkets for meat, Winco for pork, SB for NY steak.

Keep coming back. What happened to Justin? He’s the friendliest most helpful. Love the new organic veggie frozen pizza. Give Justin more hours so we can see him. Oh and get someone to make veggie lasagna…

This IS as good at it gets!

My family and I have shopped at Trader Joe’s regularly since they first opened in 2000. They have an excellent selection of conventional and organic foods, their own name brand foods and products such as healthcare, household, and cleaning items, and most of all wonderful employees who care and consistently deliver excellent Customer Service whenever I ask them for help in finding items that are out of stock, etc. No question is too big or small for them to answer and to research for me.
I like the wonderful store layout, and of course I always look for the Food Samples Booth whenever I visit, for a taste of new or familiar food and drink items. Robin, Kathy, and Brandy always offer smiles and excellent service at the Food Samples Booth whenever my family and I visit. Their Cashiers always make checkout a pleasant experience. I like patronizing them, as it has the feel of a family owned business. I also really like how some of their employees know me by name!
The only problems we have every now and then is the small parking lot and lack of parking when it gets very busy. But going through the hassle of finding parking is worth it for the wonderful experience we always have here. Thank you, Trader Joe’s Bixby Knolls! Your store and staff are awesome!

I remember when I shopped at one of the first Trader Joe’s with my best friend and her granny. This is when they sold items in bulk too. Yeah, that was a while ago.
Trader Joe’s is an affordable market for the frugal gourmet cook, or non-​cook too. It offers organic and lower-​cost imports without the complication of coupons. Love it. Also enjoy the Trader Joe brands from shampoo and soap to fair-​trade coffee and spices.
Size matters. I got hooked on smaller markets, thanks to Trader Joe’s. It’s a simpler, easier, and a more focused way to shop. No hoopla, no Red Box out front, etc. Also after being a reg at TJ’s, then to shop at a big grocery store is overwhelming. It feels like eternity to get from one end to the other. Fitbit users will probably appreciate this tho’.
The staff are also surprisingly friendly and down-​to-​earth AND joke around with each other. Nice team camaraderie. Not like big grocers where employees seem to have a zombie-​esque expression that inspires self-​checkout. Okay I exaggerate, but… you no wa ah meen?
The only other down-​side is that the produce is no farmer’s market. I recently bought organic green beans, with plastic packaging. Eesh. Most of their produce is imported and not local, unfortunately. And for some reason whenever I buy a bag of apples, there’s always one bad one. It would be super-​cool if they sourced most of their produce locally. But a girl can dream, right?
Other than that, yay! I’m a fan.

You have to give an arm and a leg for most of the items here but what’s more important than your food?
I love the demos and the employee that runs the booth as well. She is always well informed on the products she is showcasing and very welcoming. The rotating Seasonal items keep things interesting like the Pumpkin cream cheese and Holiday Prosecco which always runs out. It’s a big blue beautiful bottle that makes a great gift or party center piece. Checkout is fast and curtious but the parking lot is atrocious. It’s far too small to accomodate all the customers. It’s also a very tight squeeze so be very careful when your backing out.

I love trader joe’s. But they are not perfect. I was going on a walk with my daughter and we popped in for some cookies. She has celiac disease and medically needs gluten free.
The joe how’s cookies were priced at $ 2.99. The register rang it up as $ 3.99. I went to the isle took a picture of the item. The attendant scanned and said, yeah they’re actually $ 3.99. Then asked if I still wanted to buy them. I said yes. At the price listed. Reluctantly with a attitude of being put out, as if I was being cheap they gave me the $ 2.99 price.
I write this because I was lucky to buy only one thing, I would have missed it if I was buying multiple items.
Makes me wonder how many times I was over charged because the listed price was different from the scanned price.
The one star is for the individual experience. It’s still awesome place.

The crazies are strong in this Trader Joe’s. You know its going to be an interesting shopping trip when you walk in and there’s already someone mumbling to themselves in the cereal aisle. The parking at this one leaves something to be desired. It shares the lot with a couple of restaurants and a Coffee Bean, so yeah. It’s pretty sparse. The store itself is a pretty average sized Trader Joe’s too. Things are well stocked, and clean. Just seems to be a magnet for a more colorful array of people, so be prepared. You might get stuck listening to an older lady ramble about the Great Depression, plastic utensils, stealing, and what not.

Really convenient location to where I live. Parking during peak hours can be a little challenging because of the restaurants it shares lots with, but I’ve always managed to work around it. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it’s always clean. What you’ve come to expect from Trader Joe’s!

Great staff. Good selection of food for a smaller Trader Joe’s. The parking is miserable. Crossing the parking lot is like playing Frogger. The spots are very small. The best parking is on the street. I’m glad this store will soon move locations.

Love coming here… well, kinda. It’s not that big and there’s limited variety. But what they do have is what most places don’t have. It’s a kosher-​friendly place just okay for the Jewish people in the community. Staff is friendly but parking can sometimes be challenging. It’s location is perfect… Just because I can walk my lazy bum here and buy the mango sorbet that I’d indulge with my chamoy I bought from Northgate market… Then I sometimes regret the calories I ingested and blame Trader Joe’s because… I can.

This place has the worst compacted parking lot. During the afternoon busy rush hour you are stuck in a line trying to get out or into the parking lot. Many people park on the main street to avoid all the congestion. It just takes time to come in and out and its super tight where you have cars almost bumping into each other.

This is real close to home but it is not my favorite Trader Joe’s. The store is small and can become a little cramped. The parking here is terrible and I usually just park on the street. Nonetheless, they have specific items that I get here often. Their chicken sausage and pastrami meat is some of the best. The cinnamon swirl bread is good for making French toast. The organic honey is amazing and my favorite snack to get is those incredibly soft oatmeal chocolate chip vegan cookies, very good.

One of the best trader joes that I know. Probably smaller than the other ones, but Fruit and veggies are always fresh and the workers are very nice and courteous.

I love this location. It has the «friendly neighborhood store» vibe, and everyone is super helpful. We are always greeted, its clean and orderly, and Trader Joe’s stuff can’t be beat. Frozen fruit for smoothies, the best avocados, a frozen lasagna for when you’re too lazy to cook. Lol. The downside is that this location is a bit smaller than the others so it gets cramped in there. Parking is also difficult to find. This store does seem to run out of items more often than other location, but you can’t beat the service here!

In terms of Trader Joes standards… This pen is not a big deal. It’s smaller than most. But it’s got a cool look on the outside and lots of flowers and trees in the parking lot.
And cute bike racks!!!

Good selection. The staff is super friendly. The parking lot is a bit smaller that usual.
Try not to go during busy hours. The parking lot is a maze. People backing out backing in– a lot of activity it makes me a bit nervous.
This is the closest trader joes near my home. I have no issues so far with this location.

Been coming here for years and I am just getting around to writing a review. I’ll keep it short and sweet: the staff is helpful and friendly. Great prices on pantry items and dairy/​non-​dairy items. If crowded parking lots annoy you, shop early, or late, or park on the street. For all my peeps with food allergies: TJ’s has you covered, they display clearly whats inside the food at the demo station.
Love coming here, where most of the staff know me by name, much better experience than other grocery stores.

Everything here is amazing. Some of the frozen items are delicious, samosa’s, mixed veggie mélange, and the teriyaki chicken. I love it, and its perfect for me when I don’t want to spend my life slaving away in the kitchen.
Also recommend the Middle East Platter, not sure the official Trader Joe’s name for it but it has falafel, pita bread, humus, and that green stuff. Usually next to the fresh lunch time salads.
I eat the salads all the time too. Great to take to work for lunch and are always filling.
And the cookie butter. Gotta have my cookie butter. I will be here all the time!

What a fantastic store, fresh vegetables healthy prepared meals it’s all here what a variety and so much more.
I’m trying a vegetarian diet for health reasons, Trader Joe’s has a fantastic selection of vegan/​vegetarian products kudos to the TJ chef who creates these meals.
I love Indian food and these Indian frozen meals are delicious with a blend of spices that take me into flavor-​town with every bite.
Aloo chaat «Kati pouches.
Crispy pouches of stuffed pastry filled with potatoes, chick peas, chaat masala and tamarind chutney, the filling was delicious a dash of hot sauce kicked it up a notch and I devoured it.
Vegetable biryani with vegetable dumpling
On a bed of fluffy rice, made with peas cabbage, carrots, cauliflower and raisins what a flavorful blend of spices.
TJ vegetable pad Thai.
Perfectly chewy pasta in a sweet sauce seasoned with onions, spices and sautéed tofu I added a drizzle of lime and a dash of sirracha for that savory spicy sweetness that I enjoy.
French onion soup
Perfectly portioned seasoned with onions in a flavorful vegan broth topped with mini croutons and tiny bits of mozzarella cheese. I added extra cheese and a dash of black pepper to my bowl.
Creamy tomato soup
I’m old school to the bone I made a grilled cheese extra crispy and dipped my sandwich into this fantastic soup.
Potato Pancakes «traditional latkes «
It bakes up nice and crisp perfect on its own or I’ll have it with TJ’s unsweetened applesauce and a dollop of sour cream.
Banana chips
Light and crispy bites of roasted bananas sweet and salty.
I dip them into TJ prepared tsaziki dip or a trio of hummus, garlic, traditional or spicy add a drizzle of olive oil and fresh lemon juice it adds additional flavor to the hummus and it’s good for you.
Snacks
The TJ corn chips are crunchy lightly salted and pair perfectly with TJ’s peach salsa, the prepared hummus or my new favorite pimento cheese pub dip for a salty sweet combination.
Pineapple juice and orange peach mango juice, perfect as a non-​alcoholic drink, fill a glass with ice a few TJ frozen berries mixing the two juices for a perfect drink anytime of the day.

Unsweetened almond milk
A perfect milk replacement, I love this with Strawberry O’s the cereal is very crunchy and holds up perfectly in this milk a lightly sweet bowl of what I call perfection even Mikey will love this. Lol
TJ honey nut o’s
They rival the store brand I grew up eating and they don’t get soggy in the almond milk.
TJ Lowfat yogurt.
It’s light and creamy I enjoy this with a small amount of TJ maple pecan granola cereal on top, it fills me up without that wired feeling that you get from eating traditional granola.

When I see store brand I usually think low quality but believe me trader joe’s store brand is fantastic and everything I have tried so far has been awesome.
Thanks to trader Joe’s my vegetarian food choices are easy, the vegetables are fresh they have a nice variety of delicious prepared meals and I’m able to find just about everything I need to make a fine meal.
Next to fresh n easy, trader Joe is definitely one of my favorite stores.

Being a single guy trying to eat healthy (most of the time at least), I find myself in a grocery store or another at least once a week. Trader Joe’s is my choice when I want to splurge a little more on organic produce and I don’t have time to visit a farmer’s market.
I usually come here with an ingredient list for the meals I’m making the current week. Trader Joe’s has not failed me once. I’ll sometimes splurge and get some snacks also. One of the cool things is that they mail out these little booklets that give you ideas or explain some of the things that are available/​popular. It sometimes gives me an idea for what I want to do.
This specific store, is a little cramped but nothing too bad. Sometimes I have trouble with the stock, but always had help when needed and the parking is a little bit of a pain but manageable.
