A bad experience turned into a great conversation. Great experience. Some times we all have bad days. I know I do. We also forget that we are all human. Moments after my post. I recieved a call from The Rubber Tree. A sincere apology also a gift certificate. It is rare to have someone actually apologize for anything these days. I come into the rubber tree frequently whether I am looking around or end up buying something! And I always have had the most welcoming/​amazing experiences! Everyone there is very knowledgeable and beyond helpful! Clea is my absolute favorite to see! She will always make sure you have an experience filled with laughter! I was looking for something sexy to wear and found them on Unilocal.The lady who is one of the owners was very helpful and funny. I tried some of the toys they offer and ended up taking a sexy outfit home… love this place will be back

I will be honest in stating that I had no idea what this store was when I walked in as they were working on their display. The store is called «The Rubber Tree» which in all fairness could be anything. I walked in and it was my favorite kind of shop… an adult shop. A lot of what they have I have seen in Vancouver with similar and or just a different brand variation. The customer service was amazing and it was nice to shoot the shit about something more adult that would make other people blush. I was tempted at a few things, however, would have a lot of explaining to do at the airport during back check. Everything is very well organized.

I love this place! The Rubber Tree is an independant business that has amazing customer service. Joy and Shana are the owners, and they treat every customer with personalized service. They can answer any question about every single one of their products. Don’t be shy-​they aren’t. I always feel so comfortable asking questions-​got over my embarrassment on the first visit. There is no sales pressure; and yes they can recommend items depending on your specific needs. They have a wide variety of products to cover every desire. One visit is not enough to check out everything they are selling. They’ve been in Belmont shore for 23 years, I would go no where else! Just wish I lived a bit closer and could go more often — even just to say hi or check out the new stuff. This is no corporate shop — these people truly care about their customers and selling the best products for every taste. You won’t be disappointed shopping here.

The old lady that works there is so rude. My friend and I came in the other day and she was just staring and following us around the whole store like an angry puppy. Worst customer service. After we made our purchases (almost $ 150 worth between the two) she gave us an annoyingly long speech about how it was rude of us to look up prices on our phones for a cheaper price elsewhere and grabbing things then putting them back and comparing them to one another. She said it’s bad for a mom and pop store and blah blah blah. First of all, we didn’t once look up the prices somewhere else… news flash people constantly use their phones for other reasons and the fact that she was so defensive about looking up other prices proves how expensive things are here. Secondly, we can’t compare between items at your store? We couldn’t decide on a lube to get so we were looking at a few. Seriously is that a crime? We spent almost $ 150 there even after we were literally followed around and stared down. Then on top of that get a lecture about something we didn’t even do? My friends and I will definitely NEVER come back here. She needs to lighten up and perhaps use one of their toys on herself.
She’s so defensive about customers going to their competition and yet she is literally driving them there. Lover’s it is next time. Look up Lover’s it’s a much better shop and the employees are NICE. I know it’s such a rare thing nowadays.

Excellent customer service. Staff made me feel comfortable and not uncomfortable like other adult stores I have been to. Also answered any questions I had so I can make the right purchase. Definitely coming back.

The Rubber Tree has a very welcoming staff and is well-​stocked with toys and lotions. They also have a lot of greeting cards. I appreciate that the staff does not pressure you, but is available to answer questions. They seem genuinely knowledgable.
I like supporting a local family owned/​operated business. They have been part of the Belmont Shore community for many years. When you shop local, your money stays local and supports the community.
The few negative reviews I see here seem very atypical and I suspect one in particular is reviewing a different company altogether.

Nice family run Adult Boutique in Belmont Shores. They have a helpful staff that will not leave you feeling pressured. Good selection of gift cards, lotions and toys to spice up your love life.

This is my go to place for myself and when I am in need of a special gift for a special friend. They are always there to help and answer questions and they know when to let you browse on your own.
Not only are Joy and Shana knowledgeable and helpful but they have created a beautiful store, a fun place to shop with all the latest products.
I am looking forward to my annual Christmas shopping trip to The Rubber Tree!

Wow! Talk about service! Richard there was a dream come true when helping me find the perfect gift for valentines day! I’ll be back to shop there for SURE! They sold me on the quality, service and knowledge. You just don’t find that much anymore. Kudos to you for doing it right! :D

Kind of like our Babeland, it’s a cute place with all sorts of fun adult toys. The staff is friendly and the selection seems to be pretty good. I wasn’t able to spend a lot of time here but I did enjoy what I saw. The staff is laid back and let you peruse as you see fit, but were definitely available if you needed help. Thanks!
