The Joint ...the Chiropractic Place

I moved to vegas for school and was back in town during break. My lower back has been bothering me for about 2 years and I’ve been to 5 different chiropractors. I was impressed with the doctor in Vegas and love how affordable the monthly payments are and it allows me to go to ANY location!
I feel that all The Joint locations are set up the same way and are all very clean. When I arrived it was 2:28 and they were still eating lunch. So, don’t come here from 1:30 — 2:30! They opened the door at 2:30 to let me in and the doctor saw me right away. She was very friendly, but I felt that my adjustment didn’t leave me feeling great. Usually other doctors do spend some more time on my back since its my main complaint but the doctor here did not.

Finally the 2^nd chiropractor in that location that knows how to adjust! Dr. Shamim — Monday’s and Wednesday’s — recommended!

I have been a patient at this office for a few years now. My weekly visits have made a tremendous difference in both achieving and maintaining good spinal health. There are two highly competent chiropractors who work there, and you would be well served with either. I am adjusted on my regular Wednesday visits by Dr. Shamim Mashhadi, who is both personal and skilled, patiently finding those areas that need attention. I strongly recommend you consider giving them a try.

These guys are crooks. We came in because my wife’s back was in a lot of pain and they were the only chiropractic place open on a Sunday. They convinced my wife and I to sign up for a monthly plan instead of individual visits, but neglected to mention that they have a mandatory 30 day notice to cancel the membership. After 2 visits we realized that the adjustments here are absolutely worthless as they hardly spend any time with their clients and only do generic adjustments instead of focusing on a person’s actual issues. So we go to cancel and find out that not only are we out the 1^st month we paid, but are going to be billed again 3 weeks from now for no reason at all other than their ridiculous policy. Save yourselves the frustration and bad service and AVOID THIS PLACE. We’re out $ 140 for no benefit at all.

This location is awesome!!! I stopped by last Sunday and found they were out to lunch. However, the receptionist could tell that I was in a lot pain and opened up so I could sit down. Dr. Keenan is awesome! He really knows his stuff and had me feeling better within minutes. He also has a wonderful bedside manner.

I have been a member for about 4 months now and love paying the low monthly price for great chiropractic care. This is the location closest to my house and I go on weekends because I like the Dr who works and the adjustments he gives. I love how when you travel you can visit other locations. They are so fast and I never have to wait!

I’ve stop in to this location on my lunch break. It’s becoming my favorite location. Chiropractor take very good care of me while adjusting me. The receptionist are always friendly & welcoming & the adjusters have all been wonderful. They take there time (no rushing you n & out) but still have a fast visit.. Great place /​location /​affordable aswell.

Dr. Frank by far has been the best chiropractor I have ever met. His professional demeanor is a clear demonstration of his business approach in ensuring that my «problem neck» consistently receive the treatment it needs. He informed me yesterday that he is leaving The Joint. Hopefully I run into him in the near future; his services are the primary reason why I continued my Membership with The Joint. Dr. Frank I wish you nothing less than the best for what your future holds in your career and life. Thank you all that you do.

I just had an adjustment from Dr. Griffin. I left in pain. He spent 30 seconds giving me the adjustment and barely even spoke to me. I have not had a positive experience coming to the joint and this adjustment was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I will never go back here.

I started going here as a preventative care recommendation from a friend. I am now visiting them weekly — it takes only a few mins and I feel so much better right away.

As most people are, I was very skeptical about this place, it seems to good to be true!
The D.C. Was very thorough, asked where my pain was, did some skin tests to find sensitivity, felt each vertebrae in my spine and then cracked the ones that were bothering me.
I have severe neck and upper back pain due, the immediate relief I felt was amazing. Now my neck is so much more flexible.
I still have back pain, I know 1 treatment is not going to fix everything. However, I am very excited to continue coming back and seeing my progress.
I’ve also convinced my mom and boyfriend to get adjustments.

They advertise that appointments aren’t necessary and you can walk in anytime. My first visit they say that the chiropractor called out and there is no one available to adjust… Wasted trip.

I’m sitting here waiting for the chiropractor to show up. Their office hours are from 10 to 7 M-​F. He is running a half an hour late.

Sucks ass first time in worst chiropractic place I’ve ever been too. not coming back

Cracked areas I didn’t know needed cracking. But there were some visits where I left feeling the same as when I came in. I guess it depends who you get. I had a guy who cracked my back in very uncomfortable positions. But every time with Arthur, I felt much better.

Came in with pain. Leaving feeling great. Staff was very friendly and professional. My wait ass nonexistent. I highly recommend The Joint for all you chiropractic needs.

Exactly what I expected a chiropractor to be: «a quack». He must have MRI eyes cause he diagnosed me with a disc problem before he even touched me. He attempted 2 lumbar mobilizations. Didn’t get any movement then proceeded to adjust my neck (I have no neck pain) I guess he assumed I needed to hear a pop. Then I was told I need to come by everyday for a week. I didn’t expect to feel 100% leaving but I did expect to be better educated and a feel little better. Instead I left with a little less money in wallet (that’s less for me to carry)

Dr. Keenan’s non-​alarmist, yet very warm and personal approach were much appreciated. I’m new to the city and after leaving a long-​standing relationship with a wonderful chiropractic and holistic health clinic in my home state and a physically rigorous move to CA, I was awfully glad to find his location of The Joint. Easy scheduling, friendly staff and extremely reasonable price for good treatment gave me instant relief and peace of mind!

Let’s face it: most everything but breakfast and the bar is closed on Sundays.
The joint was open. No appointments; just show up. Doc wasn’t super chatty, but was polite. I felt instantly better, and 3 days later the pain is gone.
I prefer my usual chiro, but I have to give this place 5 stars for being open and providing a quality service at an awesome price.
The whole «office» is open. Just one big room in the back, so from the waiting area, you can hear other people grunting as the Doc works on them. It’s a little weird, but I’m not really the modest type.

This is a long overdue update from my initial experience. I did end up signing up for a membership and even made it a family membership by adding and bringing my mom for chiropractic services. Due to scheduling conflicts I was only able to keep my membership for two months. This is where I noticed a change in the attention and services.
After canceling my membership, Dr Barr significantly decreased a lot of the attention and procedures he did when I first started visiting this location. Towards the end I always felt rushed and as if he was not interested in my business, much less providing the same exceptional medical attention he provided when I first visited. I did go in once to be seen by Dr Keenan and I must admit that I really liked him. He was very friendly, very professional and actually applied some different techniques that really helped. Above all, I asked him some of the same questions I asked Dr Barr and actually received replies that provided clarification.
During the last few days, Asia, the front desk receptionist was also no longer available and the girl that was in her place lacked some serious customer service skills and charisma. She always looked like she was bothered by the customer traffic and simply did not want to be there.
Overall, I achieved temporary relief from my back pains that I was looking for. In all fairness, my mother also found relief for some of her back pains and even for her stiff neck, both which she developed from a work injury. Almost 2 years since her industrial accident, my mom was finally able to move her head sideways again, thanks to the chiropractic services she received at the joint. Another ailment that we both received help for was pains from sciatic nerve flare ups. Dr Barr also recommended we put heat on our backs when the nerve flares up and I admit this helps a lot more than pain killers.
I do recommend this place; although I admit that I have no other chiropractic services to compare it to. I do know the prices are a lot more reasonable than other chiropractors I have looked into.

I purchased the Groupon deal for The Joint services, and was pleasantly surprised at the experience. The Joint is aesthetically pleasing, staff was friendly and welcoming, and the Chiropractors are top notch. You walk in, fill out the usual medical forms, and then wham-​bam-​thank-​you-​man you are in the back on the table and then out the door feeling better.
The doctors each had excellent credentials and a bed side manner you hope for in doctors. I have visited the one in Long Beach and Lakewood, and had excellent experiences at both.
I would not hesitate to refer others and have done so already. I also encourage and hope that they will consider bringing one to West LA sooner rather than later.

I was skepical about chiros for many years. I was also in a lot of leg pain for a couple of months which turns out to be sciatica. So for $ 19 my friend insisted I go. I went two times in two days and the immediate pain was relieved. I’ve been going now about once a week on their family plan. I have learned a lot about their philosophy and my body has improved a lot more becuase of their knowledge and abilities.
If you go ask questions. These two chiros know a lot and have an extensive background for helping people and training them.
I may end up a customer for life.
You really don’t risk much at all and you, as I did, have a lot of pleasurable time to gain.
