Last minute highlights thanks to Unilocal map guidance. Wow so fast and excellent service, I was surprised how accommodating they were for me as a walk in too! Especially on this holiday weekend. Carlos the owner, very nice was on his way out but made sure to look at my hair before he left and give his stylist my desired look specifications. Liz, my stylist was amazing and so sweet. She made me feel very welcome and was amazingly fast at getting my hair done and not making me feel rushed. And for that, ill be back. Also, Gilbert her handy helper at the time, was very nice as they both tended to my hair, they kept me engaged in conversation from beginning to end. Nothing sucks more than sitting quietly in a new salon not knowing whose doing your hair and the care from getting to know another human being! Ill be back Studio 7!!! Thanks from Gracinha

I recently moved to the area and walk by this place daily. The salon receptionist set me up with Christopher same day. He was professional and hilarious. He does a wonderful job of managing my extremely thick, layered hair. I’ve been back three times since, and he is always prompt, helpful, and fun.
I have also been to Pamela, the esthetician, and she is also excellent. Her facials are pleasant, and my skin is improving immensely thanks to here skills! Her facial wax is the hard wax type which, in my opinion, hurts way less and does not irritate my sensitive skin as much as the conventional wax.

Here I am as always getting my hair touched up by Carlos, as I have for the past 20 years. My 20 year old daughter has become a client of Carlos as well, and we love his expertise, he is awesome! Our hair is always done with perfection, as blonde as can be, and we always get compliments. I highly recommend Carlos and his very comfortable atmosphere. Cameras are not a problem for us, in this day and age, cameras are in every place of business, they are there for security as they are anywhere else.

LONDY is awesome! She has been doing my hair for the past 2 years and I’d follow her where ever she goes! Londy is great about helping me decide on new styles that will complement my features and my own personal style at the same time. Londy is always very professional and gives great scalp massages too!

Carlos is the best! Living cross-​country and coming back to Cali, one thing has been confirmed: no one can do my hair as good as this man! The only way I could come out of the shower and air dry and still feel good about my hair (sans the Brazilian) is when Carlos cuts my hair. When it comes to color, I’m not exaggerating when I say he’s an artist. I sat on his chair and he told me his vision and we go with it every time.

I have been going to Carlos for 19 years now… YES, 19 years! I will not go to anyone else because he knows me so well and I TRUST him. In fact, I can confidently say «do what you want» and he will always give me the best and most current cut and color! He knows me as a client and as a friend. Amazing service and even better conversations… it’s always a great time with Carlos! The price I pay is all worth the results and the time I get to spend with him!

I have been going to Carlos for 11 years! When I was 22 I needed help with a color gone wrong by another salon; an hour later and voila Carlos had fixed my hair and made it look fabulous. He’s a pro!

I come to this place for Jenny… she’s an amazing hairstylist. She cuts my hair, perms my hair and cuts my hair the way I want. :)
But she recently moved to Korea for a while and won’t be back soon, so she referred me to Gilbert who she says is a perm expert. So I will write another review after my experience wit him.

Aaron at Studio 7 is awesome, super friendly and talented. I rarely have luck choosing a good stylist, but I struck gold this time. I highly recommend checking him out!!!

My review is for Aaron Haskell Buford. He was at Envy on Broadway and recently moved to this salon. I will follow Aaron to any salon. He is very talented and does awesome hair. My hair was a very vibrant purple and as my grays came out I decided to apply some blue to my hair. I had to go conservative for a job interview but I did not want to be a boring brown color either. Aaron was able to create an awesome brown plum hair color that has stayed on my white hairs. And I have an awesome pixie hair cut by Aaron. He is a master at his job!

My favorite hair guy, Aaron, moved from Envy to Studio7 in September 2011. Studio7 is big, well-​light and spotlessly clean… I highly recommend this place, especially my guy Aaron who is the best colorist on the planet.

I have been going to see Carlos Beltran for years. I had needed a change in my retro style. I asked for Carlo’s help to bring me up to date and make my hair more modern. He did that and so much more. My hair is short, clean and stylish. Plus it doesn’t take alot of maintenance. The entire staff at Studio 7 is always friendly and very talented. I HIGHLY recommend their staff to anyone who is looking for a stylish and friendly salon. Thank you!

I am reviewing Ilana Piper who operates out of Studio 7 in LB, but technically does not work for them.
Ilana has been doing my hair since I was 14. It has been long, short, blond, black– and everything in-​between. Ilana is a master of haircolor– she is great about keeping up with current trends and products. I have only cheated on her a few times in the last decade and a half, and each time ends in a tearful emergency call, begging Ilana to fix a booboo. As far as the hair style is concerned, she has been very solid with my do’s. Every now and again, something will fall differently the day after the cut than it did the day of– and Ilana has always been excellent about doing touch-​ups. Also, bc my hair grows irregularly fast, she is very nice about touching up my bangs in-​between appointments. For the record, when I lived all the way in San Fran, I would fly out to have to do my hair. She has clients that come from all over-​Oregon, Santa Barbara etc. If she ever moves, I might have to consider relocating ;)
