I had the pleasure of working with this company after reading the reviews on their Unilocal page. I was looking to have new laminate flooring installed in my duplex. I contacted the company and scheduled an appointment. The next day, I met with Julian and he wasted no time in breaking down the process involved of having new flooring installed. He was very thorough and was willing to lower the cost of the project in order to beat out the competition. I wasn’t interested in getting things done for cheap and told him I prefer quality over anything else. We were able to work out a deal that day and I gave him a deposit to get things rolling. After that meeting, I didn’t have to talk to Julian again. On the day of the installation his crew showed up on time and completed the installation on time! They were very professional and their workmanship was outstanding. I had a wonderful experience with this company, it’s family owned so they work hard to win your business. They do a good job at answering questions and returning phone calls. The installation work is done by the company so there is no sub-​contractor to deal with in the event there’s a problem with their work. I look forward to doing business with this company again in the future.

We hired Steven Flooring to re-​do an entire house… carpet, laminate and tile. Julian was a delight to work with. Very professional, helpful and reasonably priced. Julian and his crew completed our entire home in 2 days and it looks absolutely awesome! They did a very professional and clean job. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new flooring. Before moving into a 3 story condo we had the carpet replaced with wood laminate. Julian walked us through the whole process in the most professional manner, helping us choose a wood that matched the living room floor, giving a reasonable estimate, and scheduling the installation within a few days. Ignacio and the crew did our entire top floor plus two staircases in 2 days, and it is absolutely flawless. They also did a great job cleaning up. I highly recommend Stevens Flooring to anyone looking to increase the value of their home.

Just got my floors done today and all I have to say is WOW! From start to finish it was a pleasure dealing with Julian and his crew. I got three bids to get some laminate flooring laid down in my new home and Julian was the most reasonably priced. He was very patient and understanding with me during the floor selection process, even accommodating me when I wanted my wife to see the samples.
Come installation day Julian’s crew came ready to work right on the dot! After a brief rundown of what I wanted done, these guys got to work. I can’t say enough how fast and efficient these guys operate! They had the old flooring entirely ripped out and hauled away much more quickly than I had ever expected. Julian was there briefly to talk his guys through the project but did leave to do other things. Although I was a little worried that he wouldn’t be there, by the end of the day I ended up with the most IMMACULATE looking floors! Planks were put down STRAIGHT and running underneath the painted and caulked baseboards the way it should be! Transitions and corners were flawless! They even took the time to clean up after themselves, something not all contractors do. The speed and level of quality of Julian’s crew was very impressive. My wife and I love our new floors and couldn’t be happier with the service and workmanship of Julian and his crew.

Julian’s crew replaced our condo’s carpet with laminate flooring and also laid down tile in our kitchen, bathrooms, and fireplace.
Julian was very attentive in helping us choose our flooring and through the estimate process. Scheduling was a bit of a pain as they are a busy company with lots of work. Unfortunately, Julian himself does not do most of the work and so his time estimates was off by more than a few days, which ended up affecting other work I had scheduled for our unit before we could move in. Since I also had to buy the tile (Julian does not carry it, but will install it), his estimates were also off and required I make multiple trips to Lowe’s to buy more.
The work was of a high quality, and their installer Pedro was very knowledgeable. However, communication between the two leaves much to be desired. As we neared the end of our install, it became evident Julian had moved on from paying attention to our job as it was very difficult to get a hold of him anymore, and even Pedro complained about not having enough laborers to help him. I felt a distinct disinterest on Julian’s behalf, and the cold businessman emerged who was done dealing with me because my job was almost done anyway and I would have to pay up. He virtually ignored my issues with timing, and basically threatened to charge me more when I mentioned I was not happy with some of the things mentioned herein that had ended up costing me extra. He said he would take care of them, but would have to charge me for all of the «free» work he had done in leveling parts of my floor, which he said he had not charged me for (though he had never mentioned this before — ever). Wow, what a solution…

An absolutely incredible business. Their service is impeccable, it’s reasonably priced, and Julian (the owner) makes you feel like you do NOT have to worry about anything. We had our kitchen floor done, with beautiful vinyl planks. Their installation team was trustworthy, and did an excellent job. My family and I would refer them to anyone. Love how much pride they take in their business, and they actually care about the satisfaction of their customers.

We just had the most incredible floor put it by Steven’s Flooring Plus — he had a fantastic selection and we found a gorgeous hardwood that we fell in love with. Julian the owner was very helpful and friendly, and the installers were very nice and really thorough, even with our terrible subfloor. They did a fantastic job of installing it with barely any squeaky spots and it just looks really smooth everywhere. They also installed carpet in one room and that looks fantastic too! Overall a really awesome experience working with them and we are madly in love with our new floor!

Excellent!!! finally there is a trustworthy local business that delivers as promised; Julian is awesome. I had my entire house done with lament flooring, and it came out gorgeous. They did a fantastic job, and completed it without issues and in 2 days! I highly recommend this company.

I’m very pleased with every aspect of dealing with Steven’s Flooring Plus. Julian is an honest, honorable professional and his crew performed beautifully. My project was the restoration of a 70 year old hardwood floor with lots of patching. The work was flawless. Couldn’t be happier.

I will admit it was Unilocal that made me choose Steven’s Flooring. Crossed my fingers and hoped the reviews were accurate. Well they are! I met with Julian and we selected a carpet, agreed on a price and date of installation. He was so pleasant to deal with. The installers showed up on time and were polite and efficient. Julian checked in with me to make sure I was satisfied and I stopped by his office after the install to make the final payment. Carpet looked great and they cleaned and vacuumed after. You would never have known they had been there other than a great looking carpet! Highly recommend them. I even took some business cards to give to friends. Very pleased. Thank you!

Had to have my carpet re stretched from a terrible job done by the Hernandez brothers carpet company located in commerce. Julian’s employees were on time, professional and courteous. I should’ve used Stevens flooring in the first place. I’ll definitely use them when it’s time for new carpet or to re finish my hard wood floors

This Review is for an instillation Steven’s Flooring had just put in at my work Bellagio Manor Fine Assisted Living.
With that said.
True professionals. I had to get carpet installed in the new chapel at the Bellagio Manor. Julian came out the same day (Thursday) I had called for a estimate. Hired him the next day and he had his guys come out Tuesday. Within 2 hours the entire room was done to perfection. They were in and out with no needed guidance, just needed to know where the room was.
I really appreciate the professionalism, timeliness and attentiveness to detail that Steven’s Flooring provided.
I will be using their services for future renovations to the facility.

I went to Steven’s Flooring Plus on the recommendation of my contractor. I was thrilled with the price they quoted me to install nearly 800 square feet of high quality carpet. They also had to shave several doors, remove a small section of tile and put in a couple of ramps.
All the work was done in less than a day. They were on time and very professional. They took great care in moving my furniture around, much of which was large and heavy. The end result is very beautiful and I’m so pleased.

Great people, good expertise. They did our floors in two days and it looked fabulous. Julian was patient with picking the right materials to make sure we were satisfied.
Also the price was an important factor for us. In the end I can say that we are really happy with the outcome. Professional, easy to deal with and fair pricing. Thank you again! We will be back for the next projects.

Julian carpeted my rental unit and did a fantastic job. Then I hired him to put laminate flooring in another rental unit and again a beautiful job. He doesn’t try to oversell, just gives good advice, good prices and good service. Most definately will use Stevens Carpet again.

Went into store met Julian and he was very friendly and professional! Had home measured and picked out carpet. Had work done the next day and beautiful finished job. The guys were all great and they were professional. I highly recommended Steven’s Carpet and the price wow what a great deal. I will definitely be back for the rest of my house.
