Surprisingly clean, friendly employees, and a good place to go when, as other people said, you are throwing a party aka large gathering. We were able to find all the necessary ingredients for serving a large group of people ice cream. They have large buckets of ice cream in various flavors that I don’t recall seeing at grocery stores.

I’ve been to other Smart & Final locations, but by far, this would be the cleanest. When I walked through the entrance, I was immediately greeted by the cashier. I was able to find all my groceries and items I needed because everything was placed according to aisle. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. This is a great place if you need to just stop by and buy some groceries.

When throwin’ down, this is the go-to place. If you are having a party and need anything from Sterno to Ice, dry ice, serving utensils, you name it. It’s part Ralph’s and part Restaurant supply house. They don’t carry much«gourmet» products, but if its commodity based stuff this place has the selection and price. An excellent stock of paper take out items as well as 40lb bags of Mesquite Charcoal, which is my biggest reason to shop here.

The staff is very friendly and there is always someone to help you find what you are looking for. They don’t have a huge selection of some items and you need to be willing to buy in bulk to get the very best pricing. Overall it is a nice place to get your basic’s.

Convenient location and has a good selection of things that you can’t always find in a grocery store. Is in between a grocery store and a Costco in size, and does carry many items in bulk. Prices were okay, probably better than a grocery store but not as good as a Costco or Walmart. The staff seemed helpful and friendly. The interior and exterior could do with a refreshing, seems a bit out of date.

If you can’t find it at your local grocer, look no further because Smart & Final most likely has it! Friendly, helpful staffing makes shopping easy!

This Smart & Final is smaller than the one on Atlantic, but it’s perfect for when you need 20 lbs of ice, a year’s worth of paper towels, or a gallon of artificial cheese. It’s never too crowded and the parking lot is easy to navigate. The people working there are friendly and will help you find what you need. It’s pretty clean and the shelves are neatly stocked. Their fresh food is right in front. Long Beach makes you bring your own bags, but you can buy some of theirs if you forget. Anyway, thumbs up for Smart & Final.

I come to Smart and Final to shop for food, drinks, and supplies when I have a party. It is rarely crowded, has a big selection, and has friendly service. The only down side is it is a bit pricey for certain items, but it still beats Costco’s ridiculous member fees!

«When I need it, here I always find it» They are the ONLY place that carry Jalapeño Poppers don’t tell me Costco because it’s no! Don’t tell me any markets because it’s…NO! I have no idea WTBFD is about carrying these items in stores etc. but, I’m glad Smart & Final does; and a BIG bag for days of yummies too! BTW.I’m real picky about my poppers… not those kind either you bitches! My in a pinch store!

Seems kind of weird that I hadn’t been to a Smart & Final before yesterday. At least I don’t think I ever have. It’s sort of a small Costco for restaurants. I went there because I heard onions were dirt cheap, but I didn’t have a card so I paid regular price. I looked around and saw that butter is only $ 1.99 for four sticks which is a great price. Even Trader Joe’s is more than that. But I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon. I don’t like buying the mamasan-sized versions of products because I end up throwing most of them out when they go bad. And do I really want ANOTHER card on my keychain? It’s kind of far, too. Oh, but they did have Better Than Bullion which I use for soups now, and that was cheaper than TJ’s too without a card. Maybe it’s a good place to go when throwing a party. Oh, and one thing that pissed me off: when they finally opened a new register, the clerk took the guy behind me first, leaving me standing in line. I couldn’t believe it.

I like all Smart & Finals in general; I don’t think I’ve ever had an unpleasant experience at any location. I generally go to S & F for all of my booze needs(it’s closer than BevMo, too). Not only do they have good prices(be sure to check your mail for sales), but they also sell munchies in bulk! This is the go-to spot of you’re hosting or going to a party.
