My name is Lydia Rosene and I am a professional organizer and the owner of Simply Tidy by Lydia.

I have always had a passion for organizing and assisting people in making their spaces a place they are proud of and want to be in.

As a child I was always volunteering to clean out friends and families closets, bathrooms, attics, offices and more. Having the opportunity to work along side you and help make your space Simply Tidy is a dream come true.

After graduating from California State University Long Beach with a degree in Psychology I have had the privilege of traveling to over 8 countries as well as work in the foster care system, nanny for an amazing family and open a Community Garden in Long Beach with my husband.

Yes, I signed up for Unilocal just to give Lydia a review! I just hired Lydia for the third time to help me organize my house. Previously, she helped me completely purge and reorganize my kitchen and family room. Then, it was on to my bedroom. This time, I hired her again to help me set up my newly remodeled kitchen.
Lydia does exactly what you want an organizer to do, and she’s extremely good at it. She’s very professional and efficient while being very respectful and understanding of what your needs are. She’s never pushy or judgmental — she’s incredibly kind and pleasant. She even takes the goods you want to donate away with her and drops them off for you, and she’ll send you the receipt for your taxes as well.
The price is more than worth the value of having someone who truly helps you through what can be one of the most painful things in the world — getting organized. I was literally standing in the midst of a bunch of boxes in my kitchen, not knowing what to do — and three hours later, everything had its place. I could not have done it without her!

Hiring Lydia to help me organize my room was one of the best decisions I ever made!
She is professional and kind, very easy to work with; and she is very good at what she does. She is like a tidy tornado that picks up the clutter and leaves everything clean and organized!
I think an important part of the success in organizing my room was that I was ready to get rid of everything I didn’t need, I was committed to keeping only what I use and what I love. Even still, I couldn’t have tackled it all myself — think I was just too close to it — with Lydia there, it was like she provided a degree of separation, so with her help we sorted through and organized everything in 3 hours what probably would have taken me days and caused a lot of frustration.
My room is now a haven where I love spending time!
