I have been to this gas station several times. Never had an issue before. However, this time while I left the gas pumping it self I was distracted and when I turn to look at it the gas was overflowing. Not only did I pay extra for unused gasoline, wasted gasoline, but It spilled over my car, tire and of course the floor. Which I find quite dangerous and smelly.
I normally leave it the same and the pump just automatically stops it self once full. I dont know what went wrong this time around. I ensured to inform the staff who assured they will take a look at it to check it out. However, I suggest that you pay attention so it wont happen to you. Thia was a first to me, but learned my lesson and I dont know if this is just a problem at this gas station. But better safe than sorry.

I hate this place, they always jack up the price, to pay with a card at the pump the machine does not work, so they still charge u .65 cents to pay inside, I argued with the idiot, never going back, but so close to my home… ughh

If I wasn’t in need of gas I wouldn’t stop. Communication barriers with cashier.. I am frustrated. I just want a lotto ticket and gas seriously. I had to wait til someone else came back who spoke a little more English. Whyyyyy

I would usually pump here if I was really low on gas and had to just because it right next to my work place.
The first time that I ever pumped here at the time I noticed that the prices were lower than other locations so of course it drew me in to pump. Used my card like always at the pump station and noticed after I finished pumping that it was not the same price listed on the sign so I went in to tell them there was a mistake. She then told me that it is a cash price so I asked her, where does it say cash price on there because I didn’t see anywhere on the lot or sign that says cash price. She just points anywhere outside to tell me that’s where it says, I look around and there’s nothing. Was pretty annoyed and pissed and didn’t want to argue with a dumb person so I just left.
Soon after I noticed there is a sign at the pump stations of their listed cash price– thinking that dumb bbbbbbbiotch… haha, whatever, now I know and still only come here just because it’s conveniently close to work and if I really have to.

What can I say… It’s gas. You put it in your car to make it go. It’s not cheap here and I only get it here if I’m in a rush. If not I drive to food-​4-​less.

Very rude service and not exactly the cheapest station around for gas. Simply put, Mr. Tauheed does not care or respect his customers at all; his attitude in dealing with others clearly reflects this. I work in the retail industry and understand how to treat people with some decency. Do yourself a favor and patronize another establishment.

I limped my out-​of-​gas car down to Big Savers to pay my So Cal Edison bill… it was a bit over due… so I barely beat that cutoff time and get back to my car to deal with the empty petrol gauge. What I usually do is just search nearby (map program) for the service I’m looking for; in this case a gas station.
I was actually heading to a different station when I spotted this Shell. I decided it was better to just get gas than continue on my blind journey to the other place. But after I dealt with the empty tank (barely on fumes), I pulled out my trusty phone and searched to find the station I was sitting at. Nope, I was sitting at a mirage station. It wasn’t listed as a gas stain. After I did the search by address (conveniently on the receipt,) I found out that this was a Valero and that it still wasn’t listed as a gas station. Kinda funny, huh? Why one would have a business that can’t be searched in this tech-​day, but then again, maybe that’s why Valero closed shop.
I did find this Shell listed on the WWW. but again I had to search by address. It’s nice to know that huge companies like Shell don’t quite know where their locations are and the owners are good at keeping some of these locations a secret. But, It’s here! Corner of Artesia and Long Beach Blvd.
