Respect Bail Bonds

Absolutely the best bail company to go through. Not sure what Tommy’s problem was, but I have never heard anything bad about these guys and have had several friends use them. They’ve been around for awhile, not a huge company, so they give you the individual attention you want and need.

Great and fast service, Ron did a great job, me and my family were very happy that he was able to get my father out of the jail faster than we thought, we highly recommend Respect Bail Bonds.

This place should be called lack of respect bail bonds. The guy who runs it is a total shyster who will do anything to take advantage of people who are in an already vulnerable position (incarcerated).
When I was in jail in Orange County with a bail of 500 dollars my mom called and wired this guy the necessary 500 to get me out until I went to court. When I got out and talked to the guy he told me that when I went to court to call him and that he’d get my mom her money back.
Not once did mention jumping through a bunch of hoops like sending in certified copies of this or that (basically a technique companies use when they want to keep your money, sort of like what companies do with receipts, upcs, etc when you are supposed to get a rebate).
When I get out and go to court my mom calls him and can’t get a hold of anyone for A MONTH. I guess giving people’s money back isn’t high on his priority list.
When she does finally get a hold of him he says that she has to get him a certified copy of my exoneration notice (court papers) again basically trying to make it more trouble than it’s worth and keep the money. I know times are tough dude but shady business practices like this just won’t cut it.
So finally I call the guy and ask why he doesn’t do what every other bondsman in the country does and look the information up on the computer (all of this info is on the public record for anyone to see). He acts like he doesn’t know what website to go to as if he doesn’t have access to all of the California court systems files (all bondsmen do, they need to in order to find info on people they will potentially bail out). Basically trying to play me for a sucker and to kick it off he was disrespectful while doing it, calling me «hoss» and just generally being a condescending piece of shit.
In the end I had to find proof of my exoneration and email it to him just to get him to return the money.
If, God forbid, for whatever reason you end up in jail you’ve already got enough problems. Don’t further burden yourself by dealing with disrespect bail bonds.
