Progressive Garage Door Repair

Dumb me for not checking Unilocal first. They said they would be out and 2 hours after their appt we kept calling and calling and they said they don’t do that kind of work even though i had been very clear what type of door we had. My warehouse door was stuck and we wasted 4 hours waiting on these guys.

I called Progressive 877−815−3501 in the evening for garage door repair. They came out a few hours later and charged me 450 dollars for my door that came out of the tracks. The technician 818−793−7141 finished the work in about 2 hours and gave a 1 year warranty on parts and labor.
2 months later I need him to come out and adjust my door again and 3 times we have set-​up an appointment and 3 times he does not show up. No calls to apologize or re-​schedule. I called the company and spoke with a lady and she offered to call the technician for me.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEIR WARRANTY IS WORTH NOTHING! THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL IN EVERY ASPECT! BUYER BEWARE!

I was in a real bind with my garage (actually the community garage door to my apartment complex that is for 8 parking spaces) and I was at my wits end with my apartment management company. I found Progressive Door Repair on Unilocal and gave them a call.
I was looking to commission the repair of the garage door that had been broken for 4 days. My management company was notified by myself and other tenants, but they still hadn’t come to fix it even though I wasn’t able to get my car out of the garage, forcing me to have to walk to work for three of those 4 days.
I made an appointment for Progressive to come out to my apartment between 8 – 10 p.m. (a 2 hour window) and they ended up not showing up. Granted that it was a last minute appointment, I think that if there were a chance of them not being able to make it within the two hours that they had committed to being there, then they just shouldn’t have made the appointment.
10 o’clock came around and I called them back to see what had happened to their technician and the woman told me that she was unable to get a hold of him, so I asked to cancel my request for them to come out. She offered to reschedule my appointment for the following morning, but I didn’t want to wake up early on a Saturday for a no show so I declined.
I hope that when they do show up, that their service is stellar, but given my experience, I can only give them a generous 2 stars because the woman on the phone was as nice and apologetic as possible.
