Love this place! I’m very picky with where I take my little fur ball & this place is amazing I came in for a cake for my princess & the lady was very kind my little girl went potty in there & she was very sweet about it she cleaned it and was very concern about my little one, she’s so sweet! & she genuinely cares for the dogs. Will be coming back here! Great service! I recommend!

I just called to get a ball park price and size of the cake and whom ever answered the phone was very rude!!! She needs work in customer service. She said she had a language barrier. So I accommodated and spoke her primary language and she was still rude. I will just take my money else where. Where it wi be appreciated.

I bought a cake here for my dog and she absolutely loved it. Their cakes are made with all natural ingredients, so it shouldn’t upset your pet’s tummy. I went in, chose the shape and color and it was ready for me 2 days later. I would definitely recommend this spot if you live in the area.

there is no coffee here and no seating. my dog liked the chicken liver bacon canoli. the apple chicken jerky is awesome here for pups. might be back for that… maybe.

Great doggie treats and all are homemade. Owner really cares about furr babies and is very helpful.

Was strolling in downtown and I accidentally came upon this store. The Owner was so nice and she was able to accommodate a cake order that I had to pick up the same day. I was surprised that my picky eater dog LOVED the cake.
She makes all the treats herself from scratch!

I was in search of a cake for my dog, Moley’s, 10^th birthday. I called to inquire about their cakes and how to preorder one, the owner answered, and she came across as rude to me. I still went in to see what they had and she’s actually really nice and passionate about what she does. There are about five different shapes and sizes for the cakes. The ones I can remember are: heart, dog bone, two tier round, and a present. You pick the colors that for the decoration and when you pick up the cake she lets you choose a candle, plastic dog, and a plastic happy birthday sign. Moley loved the cake! She ate it so fast and wanted more, but it is way too much for one day for her size.
I’m glad the owner suggested that I cut the cake into several slices and wrap each piece in foil and freeze it; to give as treats later.

I was looking for a last minute doggy birthday cake and I came across this place. Luckily, they did! They had cupcake size cakes for last minute walk in purchases. Bigger size would have to be pre-​ordered but the ones they had available was just prefect. It took about 15 mins for the owner to decorate and box the cake. She was so sweet and so helpful! I’ll definitely be coming back here for more treats and cakes for my family pets.

The manager is funny and such a hard worker. She will dog sit your pets for $ 20 a day which is really cheap. I bought a dog cake from this location and it was very nice and my dog loved it. She uses organic ingredients with no sugar. I really recommend this place!

Best place in the city to buy your dog either a treat or a cake ! Made with real ingredients and food so it’s always made fresh.

Thank you so much for the birthday cake! Our pup Opie just celebrated his first birthday and we were lucky enough to have a cake order from here with 24 hour notice. Pup absolutely loved it and ate it all in 20 min!

The website is old and deceiving. It says that it’s a pet bakery for dogs and cats– when I brought my cat, the lady looked at me like I was insane to suggest bringing my cat. The phone number does not work either. When I was talking to the woman who worked there, a dog was peeing on the floor. It smelled, it was dirty, even if I had a dog, I would not take him or her here.

Rushed in last minute for a birthday cake and the owner was so sweet and down to earth. We talked the entire time she was making the cake in front of me and I couldn’t have been happier with the result. Beyond affordable I even mentioned why it was so inexpensive and she replied, «I could never take advantage of someone trying to do something nice for their animals.» Sweet tiny spot in Long Beach, definitely worth going. My dog DEVOURED his cake!

Finally getting to review. I walked in a few months ago with the intention of buying my dogs some treats. When I walked in and asked about the treats the lady behind the counter was very rude. I asked if there were any good treats available and she said they didn’t have any with a really rude tone. Umm really… I’m looking at them and isn’t part of the name «café»? I hate giving businesses bad reviews but customer service is the important and I for sure didn’t get this at all.

I read reviews on Unilocal and needed a last minute cake for my furbaby Zoe, it was her bday. I called and a sweet lady named Rosanna answered, I explained I needed a cake and she went above and beyond for me. She told me to come in a hour and she’d have something ready for me. It was a great first time experience and I was so touched with how much my furbaby loved her and her vibe when we had arrived to pick up her cake. I will definitely be returning for more bday cakes and treats for our family pets. Thank you Rosanna we loved the cake!

Let me start by saying that I have been coming her for over 2 years and as of today I refuse to leave my dog Nico there any more. This is the second and last time I will allow my dog to get bitten. I went in to talk to Rosana the older lady that is always there, to let her know that another dog may have snapped at my dog and their is now a bite right behind his front left leg. She started telling me that it was a flee bite before even showing her the pics I took to let her know. She then started telling me that he bit himself. the location of the bite would not allow for him to be able to completely turn his head so that he would be able to bite in that location. She went on to say that she is always watching the dogs and that could never happen even though I have seen her leave with the dogs secured inside. Also the front window area is out of her view and that is where he would normally hang out. I now know why!
Mind you I understand that dogs will snap at each other and the bite wasn’t drawing blood, but seriously is that where it has to go before this place will listen. As one pet owner who loves his dog to another… if you have a small dog think twice before leaving him there.

Rosanna is the best pet sitter ever!!! My rescue scooby was difficult to deal with when I first rescued him but Rosanna and her charm changed him to become trustworthy and such a loving baby!!! She loves the dogs like they were her kids! I always feel comfortable leaving scooby with his ‘second family’ when Im out if town.

It was so not what I imagined (that can be a good thing sometimes, but not in this case). The name of the place and the Unilocal reviews had me thinking that it was some trendy actual CAFÉ type place for dogs… ya know, where doggies come to hang out, mingle, have menus to order from. And I was thinking… oh this sounds like such a cute little adorable novel place that I must take Brownie to.
And when I arrived, it was a completely different vibe. The place was very dimly lit and had an unwelcoming feel. The two small doors were closed and locked. I had to call the lady (who was sitting and working on something with her head turned back) to get her attention. She approached me as if I was interrupting her and kind of surprised by our visit. I almost felt like one of them door to door people, coming to someone’s house or establishment and disturbing them. I mean, the lady was nice and friendly, but the whole vibe of the place kind of threw me off.
The lady came by the door and asked how she can help me. I was like «Umm is this a dog café?» And I saw a menu outside, so they I figured that even though it looked nothing like a café or bakery or any type of establishment in serving doggy goods, they must be serving or selling something for dogs to eat. And since I had already driven out of my way and came, I thought I’d order some things to go for Brownie. The lady was telling me that it’s a place where she babysits dogs. She saw that I had a dog with me and said, «Oh you got a baby there with you». And she started asking me questions about him… how old he is, if he’s had all his shots, etc. She asked if he was friendly and then finally invited us in.
It didn’t really look like a place where people bring their dogs for a day of spoiling, but more like a place where they drop them off while they go out of town or for a night on the town or something… or pet parents that need someone to watch their dogs while they’re working.
Brownie quickly made new friends there. The «bakery» side looked like it was closed for the day and she was there afterhours babysitting or something. The lights on the display fridge were out and basically the entire place was so dim. I browsed around and got some treats for Brownie. After reading about rave reviews about the doggy lasagnas, the platters (with various treats), and all them good stuff, I really looked forward to spoiling Brownie here. Everything sounded so doggy gourmet! So it was a letdown.
Anyways, I bought him some beef jerky, a chew toy, some treat made of pumpkin (which she was nice enough to just give me), and some frozen empanadas. Brownie loved every single item. But then again, he loves everything. Maybe because he is still a puppy.

Spent the day in the LBC and found this place while Unilocaling nearby places in the downtown area. My dog was with me, so I thought it would be a nice break for us.
Parking wasn’t a problem, parked on Linden Ave. There weren’t meters in front of some spots, which was great. We were greeted with barks from all of the yappy dogs there for pet sitting. The ladies inside were having their lunch. To be honest it was a bit overwhelming for my dog, so he waited outside even though it was hot.
The store is pretty small, but enough room for doggies to run, jump and be happy with the cushions and areas by the window. The display for the homemade cookies was decent, though I was a bit disappointed to find out that all of the selection was made with regular flour plus the ingredients listed like peanut butter, carrot, zucchini, apple, etc.
After the owner explained ingredients to me for a few minutes, I tell her about my dogs allergies so we opted to try only treat made with rice flour, which is stored in the freezer. She showed me a cookie that was crescent shaped and said it was made with carrot; price was $ 2.75 for five pieces. After I paid, I realized that in a crescent, there are 3 «pieces» meaning I paid $ 3 after tax for five «pieces» of a crescent shaped cookie (see picture).
When the cookies defrosted, I fed some to my dog and discovered that the cookies were mainly flour with a few bits of carrot and something else (probably zucchini). I was only told about two ingredients, rice flour and carrot, but what if my dog was allergic to zucchini? Thankfully my dog isn’t…

*Not the best place to have a social gathering with you dogs
*Area for dogs not as clean as I would like my pet to be playing
I probably wouldn’t come out of my way to come back to this store, but I would stop by without my dog if I happen to be in the area.
