I stood in line to be helped. When I got help finding what I want to purchase, I was then told to stand in line again to pay… Now I’m stuck behind a complicated sale and a return… It could have been so easy to just finish me up and send me on my way but now I’m stuck Here for an extra 30 minutes. Not happy with service. The woman then tells me that it’s finally my turn. I inform her that I had already stood in line and waited and don’t understand why when I stood in line the first time, she couldn’t just complete helping me with my purchase by ringing me up. Of course her lame excuse was that she had to have me wait in line to purchase… The first time was to help me find my purchase. I bought a papasan cushion which you needed to check on inventory from the back. Thumbs down to you.

They always have sales! Honestly, I almost never go to Pier 1 Imports. Occasionally, sure. I’m more of a World Market girl, myself. That being said, they do have some cool stuff. And, it’s an excellent place to find small gifts that most anyone will like. For someone who doesn’t shop here much, I’ve visited a couple times over the past month. First, to pass time while waiting to eat. The second time intentionally to purchase a meditating giraffe for a friend(meanwhile picking up cinnamon scented stuff for fall, which I’m really ready for at this point). The only comment I had was the employee working was talking to a friend and it felt a bit uncomfortable interrupting to request assistance. Otherwise, will have to remember to return for gifts in the future.

What can I say… I love pier 1! Especially this location. While it could be a little bigger, the layout has been very well thought out and I can always find what I’m looking for. What put me over the top on 5 stars is the staff. every time I go in the staff is not only friendly but helpful which is so hard to find these days. Also if I was to buy a floor model and it looks a little tattered they always give me 10% off. I highly recommend this place!

–1 star for extended construction of this area of the mall. We were greeted by an actual greeter, she had a sincere smile and was very welcoming! I found it to be a nice touch to the holiday shopping season. She asked what brought us in & if there was anything she could do for us. The store was beautifully decorated, okay, so I do love Christmas! This location looked new, it was very clean and sparkled. Plenty of items to choose from, it is a really good things I was in a hurry to a birthday lunch, I was seeing $$$$$$$! There seemed to be something for everyone here, not just Christmas, but Hanukkah, Kwanza, you name it! Merry Christmas!

I didn’t want to spend a billion hours in Barnes and Noble with my family so I went to Pier 1 to check out what they had. Holy moly they have so much. It was a little too much for me. Utter chaos with hardly any rhyme or reason in this store. I think they have too much inventory for such a small store. Usually I have been into bigger storefronts of a Pier 1 and it’s about the same amount of inventory. I couldn’t concentrate in here because of the clusterfu*k of things, so I grabbed two room deodorizers(the oil and stick kind) because they were cute with decorative tips on the sticks. Then I ran out of that store and ended up spending too much time in the bookstore.

This is a sorry little Franchise store that only seems to still be in existence because of its much larger siblings. Every time I have gone into the store, I find it inefficient, lacking merchandise and super slow. This week, our visit was no different. The entire time I couldn’t help but think to myself, man those in corporate would be having a fit if they knew how this small store, off the radar, is being run… The word efficiency is not within their vocabulary. It took us well over 20 minutes to get a sales clerk to engage with us, look up an item on their computer and then provide us with inaccurate information…

This location is great for killing time before or after seeing a movie at the nearby Marina Pacifica. I’m not usually in the market for patio furniture or Margarita serving sets. But two things keep me coming back: the scent diffusers and the deep discounts on sale items. These days every store has a wall of scented room sprays or whatever, but Pier 1 has has some consistently good ones. First Rain, Crisp Bamboo, and Citrus Cilantro are personal favs. The sachets are perfect for my car, and even my vacuum. And my bathroom is less of a disaster with all those sprays and diffusers. And they have so much turnover, there’s a good chance of finding stuff marked down to 80%, depending on what you’re browsing for. There’s a good chance you’ll come out of here with a cow udder ice cream bowl or rooster cookie jar for a few dollars.

I like to come here when they are having their sales; 50−75% off(which by the way is what their prices SHOULD be) or for a quick gift for some party or such; the last time I was here they had to do an inquiry since it had been so long since I had used my card! Knowing that, with their intrest rates @21% I ALWAYS pay this sucker off when I get the bill no matter how much it is. However, I digress… I have decorated my place with their eclectic items for over 10 years and I must say they are quite complimentry to my taste but, I always buy the sale items since most of what they sell will end up at Marshall’s later any way so, for me it is a win period! I have more martini glasses, flasks, shakers and difusers than one would know what to do with and oh yes, candles, candles, candles! More than anything else is the ambiance and the staff; great vibes and, great employees! Nice place to a break from the mainstream and, a good excuse for another fix at Kamal Palace!

When I’m in a decorating mood, I come to Pier 1. Even when they aren’t having a sale, their prices are reasonable, and I love the unusual items they stock. It’s a great place to shop for gifts. Everything is clean and organized, and the staff is friendly too. Target will always be #1 with me, but this is a nice emergency backup home store.

Okay, just an upfront warning, this entire review is based on a single product. LOL Oh my gosh! I am INLOVE with the Mad Love Reed Diffuser. According to the offical Pier 1 description, it’s «a memorable affair of black and red raspberry fragrances with essences of peach, strawberry, coconut, lime zest, vanilla bean, and creamy cassis». I was a reed diffuser virgin but for Christmas I got one for myself and a friend and wow am I glad I popped that cherry. This things rocks so hard. My bathroom smells so amazing. I can’t stop raving about it. Five stars for Pier 1 for selling this amazing product!

Well now, a chain I approve of! I love coming here to check out the furniture. When I’m looking for something a little different, but don’t want to look around too much, there’s usually something here. I recommend it as a little upper end, but good quality and acceptable prices.
