Pacific Coast Highway Blue Line Station

Once again, the filthy, dangerous, disgusting, and frequently late Metro Blue Line has broken down. Metro wonders why ridership is down 9%. If someone on the board actually spent an hour on the Blue Line, they would no longer wonder why.

Yes, the Metro Blue Line has many stops on its way to DTLA or to DTLB vice versa. The PCH station is just one of those stops that you’ll want to avoid, unless you have to exit here, or in this case, entering.
Nearby this station lies a McDonald’s, a King Taco and a few other local spots. The Greyhound station is a block away from here as well. Just about every time I either pass through here or have to stop here, I almost always get stopped by somebody asking for change!
Considering this station lies in a not so best part of town, your best bet is to avoid coming at night, unless you want to get robbed. I’m not going to jinx you on that!!!

Fast way to Los Angeles from the LBC. Kinda in the hood. This is on the metro blue line. Fare is $ 2.75 a ride like the metro subway in nyc.

This Blue Line station is in the heart of «Eastside» LBC. It is blocks away from Poly High, VIP records, and the LBCC PCC Campus. I am a frequent rider and have never had any problems, but I also keep my guard up at all times.
The station itself is right in the middle of a BUSY intersection, full of angry patrons waiting for the train to go to Downtown LA. There are some «sketchy» activities going on here, but if you’re not looking for trouble and minding your own business, nobody will bug you. Also bring hand sanitizer!

Yes, I am glad there is public transportation that runs from Long Beach to Downtown LA. Especially, considering how the City of Angels worships the automobile. It’s amazing we have all these rich celebrities and billionaires in Bel AIr & Beverly Hills, but we can’t put in viable public transit. Anyway, back to the BLUE line. The blue line is ghetto with a lot of rif-​raft riding it in the evenings. I’m a young lady and I would not be caught on the blue line without a man. Safe riding, my friends!

it’s a very clean safe station

Super sketchy Metrorail station.
I guess I’m just used to it and hadn’t realized the level of sketch until someone pointed it out. There are always thugs hanging around and the station itself is not very clean or anything.
Whatever though, what are you going to do when you’re on a budget and you have to get from A to B. $ 3 a day sure beats an annual cost of: $ 200+ for vehicle registration, $ 400+ for insurance and $ 75+ per month for gas!
