I was very nervous to start the class but I did it. Took the free class this past Monday. Charles is a wonderful teacher. If you are looking for a class that will help you, not only boost self confidence, but also help with acting, then this is the class for you. It’s very small and intimate, really helps those who like to learn one on one. I highly recommend taking s course with charles whether you want to be an actor or just want to take a class for other reasons. I will be returning for more sessions. I can’t wait. Thank you Charles for letting me experience the free session.

As one of the youngest in class, I was a little nervous how things would go being around people who had more experience than me but Charles makes sure that the class is always an encouraging setting. I’ve been through stage 1 and 2 for almost one month now, and I’m learning so much. Each class I learn so many new techniques and I learn different ones each time. Definitely getting a BANG for your buck! Also, I’ve heard many coaches say class ends at 10 and when 10 comes around you’re out of there, but Charles will stay after if that’s how the class goes that night. He’s very invested in his students; changing his teaching styles depending on who he’s talking to because he recognizes that they learn better differently. I would recommend to any and everyone. It’s a class with so much energy and talent and it’s extremely exciting to experience each class. My fellow actors and coach are amazing welcoming people! And it’s great for any age! Love love loovvve it!

This is a gracious acting coach, kind, listens intently to YOU. Never critical, always supportive and helps build your skills which WILL transfer into your daily life as well. His classes are always FUN, even the hard part. We’re safe in there. We are going to grow. Charles is not only a great acting teacher, he also became a great friend within a short period of time. His class has awakened a passion in me that lay dormant for many years, and his coaching has challenged me to push myself and become a better person in all aspects of my life.
One example of his generous spirit is that after I had completed all three levels of his class, Charles encouraged me to look out at other classes in LA so that I could experience different settings and teaching styles. I am currently doing so, although I know that I will always go back to his class because I have so much more to learn from Charles– and he has provided such a safe and enriching environment for us to do so.
Also, I went to Charles for my headshots and could not be more happy with the results. I’ve had comments from friends, family and industry folks about the amazingly high quality and dynamic feel of his photos. I am really happy I tried this class out and definitely plan on going through with levels two and three. The level one class I have taken so far has great exercises to better your craft, but to also break-​through personal obstacles in life. Charles is a very good teacher who actually seems to care about your success and I always look forward to this class every Monday. I don’t even know where to start. Charles is all around amazing. He’s so down to earth, funny and honest. He is so passionate about spending time to helping you with acting exercises in class and outside of class. As a teacher and coach, he makes acting so comfortable. I have met other acting coaches and they are too rigid and too rough around the edges. He has helped me with thinking outside the box when it came to auditions. Because of it, I landed an acting job that I have auditioned for. The first time in months after I took his class. He gives a lot of real life experiences and advice — very relevant to inside the auditioning room to being on camera. He’s a great man who is so positive.

Charles is an amazing teacher! My twin brother and I took a class taught by Charles. After the session we immediately sought out more information about enrolling full time into his program. I could tell he really cares about improving our performance. My first class alone and he really pushed us to reach a side of ourselves we rarely get to see. I had a blast participating in Charles’ Level 1 acting class. Charles provides a very comfortable and engaging atmosphere for his students to explore the art form and he is very supportive in his feedback/​comments. The class focuses on observation, reaction, connection with your fellow classmates/​actors, and developing comfort with being onstage. It’s quite a therapeutic process and the skills learned directly transfer to your everyday life. If you’ve always wanted to try acting but have been discouraged for one reason or another, I would definitely encourage you to visit/​talk to Charles =)

I had been wanting to take an introductory acting class for some time, so I finally looked at some local classes, took a brief read through reviews, and based on what I’d read, I figured I’d give Charles’ one-​on-​one foundation class a try.
I thought it would be dry and academic, with discussion on the history of acting and its methodologies. I thought there might be a few little exercises that would build in difficulty as time went on. Maybe there would be a scene at last class, and I would get critiqued about everything I didn’t do quite right.
Well, sometimes being wrong on all counts is the best possible outcome.
Charles’ foundation class is all about doing. You’re performing in every class, and it is in that performing where the learning takes place. You’ll learn basics in the importance of performance choices, how to break down a scene script, and how to be aware of the whos/​wheres/​whens/​whats that will help you bring life to the scene. There is a focus on a more natural cinematic style of acting, rather than the theatrical stage personality.
As a teacher, Charles is very observant, patient, and quick to point out the strengths of your work. He is a kind soul, and you genuinely feel that he wants nothing more than to see you blossom and succeed. His encouragement is perfect for a foundation class.
This was definitely not what I had expected from an acting class. This was far, far better.

Where do I Begin, Charles is an AMAZING acting coach, and Great man! he is very humble, caring and passionate. Whether you are just starting out, or have been doing this for some time
is the place to go! he not only cares about you as an actor but as a person.
He’s Techniques are easy to apply, and it makes your performance 10x better, he’s boosted my confidence tremendously, allowing me to open up in ways I didn’t know I could. the ability to write your own material perform on camera, create a demo reel is awesome.
