Rating a doctor is not subjective. They are either able or not; capable of positive, contributory, human interaction, or not. There are doctors who seem to über understand pharma and those who missed the need to demonstrate that, even if they do know it. These attributes render evaluating them quite simple.
Ask a friend if they like their physician and likely their response will be quick. They know the pediatrician cares beyond their billable code or doesn’t; they will say the urgent care doc is awesome at the EMR software but sucks at looking the patient in the eyes, and you will know how they assess that practitioner quickly. So, based on these suppositions, trust me when I say that Paul Rocky Weber is one of the brighter medical doctors in CA and without doubt has the highest level of integrity of most anyone I know. I make this statement from personal experience (see set up in previous paragraphs) and am proud to attest to it.
Focusing on gynecology and teaching, now, he is lending his sense of humor (it’s a dry one) to those of us past the delivery room. It’s a bonus for women who are no longer patient to wait and also sad for younger moms, so be aware if you are looking for a new doctor. His staff is shared with his long-​time friend and partner, Dr. Martin Muth, another fantastically adored MD, and the team really does a good job of taking care of their family of patients. Enter parking lot to 2880 via little alley off Columbia.

I cannot spread enough positivity about these doctors and their nurses. Dr. Oster is my primary OB/​GYN and everything about her is wonderful. She has a wonderful, peaceful, kind demeanor. She is patient and takes time with you at each and every appointment. At your very first visit she brings you to her office and sits with you and discusses all your history/​needs/​expectations in a very calm, serene environment. She is highly competent and provides excellent care. I recentlhy had a medical emergency and she made time for me immediately and when I needed to be admitted to the hospital she called a surgeon for me at the hospital and got me a consultation. That way, when I went in to the ER, she was available by phone and the surgeon and she both already had their tests ordered and things were expedited. She came to see me at the hospital the next day. Dr. Muth came in the last day in the hospital and put me completely at ease. He calmed all my worries (I didn’t even have to address them — he anticipated my needs and met them!) about the effects of pain meds on the baby (I’m currently in the early 2^nd trimester and it is my first baby), and he told me (direct quote), «Do not ever hesitate to call us no matter when it is or what it is. If you don’t like the way your hair curls and you’re worried, you just go ahead and call us any time of day. We’re here for you. Don’t worry about the pain medication effects on the baby; the medicines we prescribed are frequently used in pregnancy and your baby is safe. We don’t want you to be in pain at all.» Drs. Muth and Oster are both a God send. I cannot imagine more capable, respectful, kind, thorough doctors and no matter who delivers my baby I know I will be in the best of hands. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
