This store is so great. Everytime I go in I find something I want. Its a great mix of quality vintage items and local fashionista creations and craft artisans. I did a good bit of my holiday shopping here and found something for everyone in my life and they offered gift wrap service too at least for holidays. They also have a cool record collection if you like records. The service is nice. The only thing is if you are carrying a large bill they may not be able to break it for you. I ended up leaving my desired one of a kind purchase behind one time because they couldn’t break a $ 100. It was a Saturday afternoon and I had other things to do so didn’t make it back. I truly wanted the item and tried to go next door to 2 or more of the other shops but those places also refused to break my benjamin so word to the wise they accept credit or use small bills. I love this place though. Will see you around.

I just moved to the area and visited this shop a couple times and always felt extremely welcomed. Amazing customer service the dark haired girl short hair, complete drawing a blank on her name, she is an absolute sweetheart. So knowledgable in all the products plus gave me some amazing tips. Yesterday I had bought some sage and a vintage long sleeve gift for my friend. Really unique items they have a bunch of amazing candles, soaps, deoderant that are all natural made here in long beach. I love the vibe, music, cool records, sunglasses, books, jewelry, and smell. So close to my house I will be coming back much more. And my birthday is tomorrow I got a free candle! So happy great scent try the Passion Fruit!

We went here to cruise around and went through the vinyl records they have on sale. I ended up getting a cardigan sweater which was on sale with an additional 30% off! Winning! I love this store — definitely will be back again.

Make has so many unique goodies! I love the record selection, jewelry and other goods. They have events sometimes. I really want to check one out. Had my eye on the calligraphy class, but conflicts with my schedule. The owner is super nice and everyone that works there is very friendly. Did a LOT of my xmas shopping there this year.

I really like the concept of this shop (supporting small Long Beach businesses and artists), so I was excited to purchase a Christmas present from their online shop. The item never arrived, but I was out of town anyway, so I contacted them just after the holidays to notify them. They were very nice, and although they couldn’t track the original package because one of the employees was on vacation they promised to send out a replacement item immediately. I verified my address and expected to receive it with a few days. After three weeks, I am now calling– for the fifth time– to cancel the order and purchase the item directly from the producer. What a shame that the follow through is not there for this shop. Great concept, poor execution. I hope they remedy this issue for their online orders as I would like to use their site again in the future to purchase gifts.

I love love love this boutique! Not only is the selection of records, gifts, and home décor amazing but the staff is just as wonderful. Kat, the owner, is a huge supporter of local artists and she really goes out of her way to be helpful. I’ve taken two workshops here and I had an absolute blast! They make sure you have lots of fun and make yourself at home in their perfect shop. This place is a must whenever I’m in the area!

One of my VERY FAVORITE boutiques EVER! Disclaimer: I am a huge supporter of local business and try to shop local when I can. This eclectic boutique with a diverse product assortment of new and vintage, cool pottery, handmade jewlery, awesome postcards and super cool vintage furniture is inspiring, and simply put cool — full of swaggg and SOUL.
Kat, the owner is amazing and has an eye for the coolest vintage pieces and she also knows how to purchase new, fresh on-​trend product too! They support local brands/​artisans which I love. Everyone who works there is so friendly but lets you do your shopping on your own. They are there if you have questions but do not hover which I like. Personally, I am a fan of their candles, jewelry and vinyl although I have purchased just about every category they have, including a «Mad Men» vintage bar cart and a piece of handmade pottery for my cactus. I could spend hours in there.
Their vinyl collection is curated magnificently and I love their mystery vinyl which includes 10 records for $ 7~ You never know what you are gonna get — a great gift for someone who collects. Kat’s husband has an extensive record collection and if you’re lucky you will be there when he’s around so he can share some of his favorites. I thought I knew music — oh no… Matt and his assistant E have introduced me to some incredible jazz and funk music I was not familiar with — that is a gift in and of itself.
Definitely check the store out if even just to take a look around — the esthetic is super cool, the people are friendly, the music is hollaaa and I am guessing you will more than likely walk out with something!

Superb collection of records. Nice little 10 records for $ 7 surprise pack. You never know what you’re going to get and they offer a wide array. Every Friday is free record Friday and you can stop by to pick up a few records to add to your collection.
Kind shop keeper and she has steez for days. Offers beautiful jewelry and clothes that keep you fresh.
Purchased a little air plant, records, jewelry and a few greeting cards. Would give my business to this shop multiple times over and over again because of the locally made product and cutesy goods that are sold.

I love this store! The owner Kat was so friendly and receptive to my questions. I purchased a beautiful dresser that would have cost 3 times the price at high end store that rhymes with Best Helm. Her husband Matt and father in law even delivered it free to my place!

Ladies are super sweet here and it’s for sure a hidden long beach gem. They carry vintage Gucci and Chanel :)

As you can tell from my photos, I am a huge supporter of this place! I have been a supporter of Kat and Matt (the owners), even before they were married. I used to shop with Kat when she strictly did clothing, bags, and accessories. I love that they have blossomed and evolved into what they are now. Now that I am a home owner, I noticed that I have started to shift my spending to home goods. I believe decorating your home is also another expression of one’s style. Just as you dress yourself, you also dress up and accessorize your home.
The items that Matt and Kat make are customized and carefully hand picked. Matt also designs and builds some of the furniture they sell. A couple years back, I picked up a turquoise steamer trunk from here. It is super fun and brings some color into my home. I use it for storage and also as a night stand in my bedroom. I get a lot of compliments from visitors. It’s too bad it’s one of a kind… However, if you let MAKE know you are in the market for something, they may be able to help you find it! Kat is actually helping me find some items that I need for my upcoming wedding engagement shoot. She was able to find some of the items that I sent her photos of as my «inspiration» for some of the props that we want to use for our shoot and wedding day. Talk about awesome customer service! They are super accommodating and willing to work with me on all of my needs and wants!
Just yesterday, I stopped by the store to pick up a handmade/​painted Long Beach local made planter. Kat also gifted me some plants! I hope that I can keep these succulents alive. In addition, I picked up a Long Beach local made soy candle as well as some cute sunglasses! Where else can you shop for all these things that are super cute and reasonably priced?
I’ve also found some really cute clothing pieces to wear. I am not one of those girls who always wears what’s trendy and in the stores. I actually like to wear things that I am comfortable in, and things that I think are cute. Luckily, I’ve been able to find a ton of dresses, tops, belts, shirts, and shoes here. I always get tons of compliments from folks on how «cute» my top is or how «lovely» my dress is. Also on how «fabulous» my shoes or bag is!
I am also a lover of vintage bags (Gucci, Dior, Chanel, Fendi, etc.) It’s a bad habit I picked up from my mother. I was surrounded by this growing up, and it’s an accessory that I just adore. I’ve picked up some awesome clutches, bucket bags, and handbags here. I don’t have all the photos posted, but I will definitely add more when I change my bags/​outfits. I love that Kat informs me when she has new finds for authentic vintage bags! Sometimes she will post the photos on Instagram or she will personally text or call me to let me know if it’s something that I will absolutely love. Just because I am not in Long Beach or SoCal, it doesn’t mean I still can’t shop here. MAKE Collectives also ships! I can’t wait until they have a website that I can purchase directly from. I look forward to the day that I can shop from my bay area home, and have these goodies sent directly to me! There have been a lot of times that I wish I could just walk into the store and pick up some of the items that I see posted on Instagram.
I also saw some changes in the store yesterday! They are building a section for men’s vintage clothing and accessories! So ladies, bring your man when you come shop. They have a section for themselves, too! They can look at some fits, vinyl, or furniture too!
For you vinyl lovers, they have an extensive collection of vinyl available at the store as well!
One more thing… I love that they are all about supporting local artists and businesses! They have some jewelry, hand painted pots, shirts, handmade cards! All are super cute. I discovered Make Collectives on Instagram about 2 weeks ago. I was searching for vintage, one of a kind pieces for our apartment. I came across a post on their IG of a custom-​made industrial desk, and immediately loved it. We had been searching for a dinner table for a few months. We wanted that whole industrial rustic vibe. We inquired about a custom made table, and heard back from Matt that same day. All communication was through email, which was very convenient for us. We commissioned our piece on Wednesday, and our brand new, custom made table was delivered on Saturday. We can’t believe how beautiful our dinner table is, it’s more than what we could have hoped for. When we thought we wouldn’t be able to afford our piece, Make Collectives worked with us to figure it out. Matt went the extra mile and made our table with quality materials, and excellent craftsmanship, he really is skilled in his trade. A picture of our table doesn’t do it any justice, buy I hope Matt and Kat took one anyway to hang on their wall bc this truly is a work of art!!!
We really hope to commission more pieces from Make Collectives. This was the best experience we have ever had with any retail store. Our new table brings our whole place together, and it’s finally starting to feel like OUR home.

It really is THAT great.

I’ve stopped by her many times and never felt really inspired to buy anything before even though I like the eclectic mix of home furnishings, music, and clothing. However, I finally found a blouse I just couldn’t get over. A vintage french connection floral blouse ! It’s more than I would pay for a shirt, but I knew right away it would look good with everything in my closet. I hope to find more gems like this blouse there and some other cool pieces.

I love this shop! This is where I come when I’m looking for a cool vintage furniture for decorating. I have bought a couple dressers, a cabinet, and table & chairs from here. Good prices too!

One of my favorite vintage stores in LB :) always have cute items, ranging from clothes to furniture to old record albums. If you haven’t stopped in, you need to!

REALLY cute stuff, you will always find something that you like, only drawback is the prices; like I wouldn’t pay $ 19 for some sunglasses.

We bought a mid century
Credenza from here a month ago and loved the customer service. The owner and his wife personally delivered it! They even brought some wax for me to use when I asked them on how to see for the piece. We also bought records from them which we love. Not super overpriced and a local business… love it!

This is my new favorite place on my lunch break! A really cute store located in the heart of boutiques and eateries, you can’t miss it! Big windows with mid-​century furniture displays and vintage clothing on racks behind the glass. Her picks on vintage is on point, on trend and must haves! I wanted more than what I left with but that doesn’t mean I won’t be back. I snagged this gorgeous, short sleeved, button up with green and ivory stripes. It’s going to look so cute with high waisted shorts or even cut-​offs, perfect summer staple!
I can’t wait to see more furniture come in, as I have key pieces in mind. New succulents in vintage pots and other creative vases have been added all over the store and I wanted to take all of them home! There are also really cool jewelry pieces, sunglasses and purses to choose from! And then a huge collection of vinyl that takes up the entire wall closest to the cashier — insane!

Soooo Cute! I might need to move to Long Beach and open up my own cute shop because I couldn’t get enough of this place!
It’s a mix of vintage and new items that are well picked with a good variety of sizes. I came in here twice and the second time my girl that I was with had a field day of fitting every single dress she tried on! Ah, I love days like that!
The furniture was a great aspect too, with really affordable danish modern items for sale at great prices. There are also records for sale for the guys… and gals. A really cute store with something for everyone.

Such a gem and a treasure. Great vintage shop! Great people!
