Minus 100 stars. Really really RUDE lady and crappy management and liars. I went to the office because my car got towed (stupid parking lot lol). Anyways, i came to get my car. I was talking to her really calmly and asking questions about their service/​fees. When I was about to sign the papers, I noticed she messed up on the plate number, vin number, and color of my car. They were off a few number so I cant really get away with it but anyways, i asked her if she could fixed them. OMG how hard is it to fix those numbers on your computer and print it again!!! Hello. I was helping you do your job correctly. She was rude! She messed up 3 times! My boyfriend was with me and he had to get into the conversation because she was talking to me rudely. She even got more rude and mad. She said in order for me to get my car, my bf has to go wait outside the property or she’d call the police. WTF. You were the one who needs to go in Jail BITCH! I didnt want to make this a big deal and told my bf to just go outside and i’ll deal with her. Anyways, I checked my car, they left few scratches and left few chipped off paint. She told me they were going to call me within two weeks to get this fix. After two weeks i had to call them. I was going back and forth with them for months. OMG you don’t even know!!! In the end they said it was not their fault (originally said yes and were going to fix it) and the story changed. I cant believe this is how they handle business. I want to sue them but i dont have time really. Thats why im writing this very long review because i was really frustrated with this company. Please PLEASE. Dont get your car towed from this company. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

If I could give this so called towing company –0 stars, I would. I was on my way to work and got a flat tire. Insurance sends Long Beach Towing & Storage. I’m waiting around for a good hour and half and no tow truck. I call the insurance company and they call the towing company. Long Beach Towing tells the insurance agent that they called me twice after driving around looking for me and my car. I told the insurance agent that it was complete B.S. I received numerous phone calls, and not one was from the towing company. If they had, in fact called, why didn’t they leave a message? Also, I was anxious to get to work, so I was definitely on the look out for the tow truck. Guess what? I didn’t see a single one. When I called the insurance agent again, she expressed her frustration with Long Beach Towing and Storage. Each time she called, nobody answered the phone. I’ve been calling as well to give this stupid company a piece of my mind and my call just drops. DO NOT USE THIS PIECE OF SHIT «TOWING COMPANY»!! (Please excuse my language, but it’s the truth)

Absolute worst. I was assigned the by my insurance company USAA.
Called at 10:19 got a text saying ETA 11:10
Called them at 11:30, girl said two people ahead of me would be another 45 mins
Got a text at 11:52 saying new ETA 12:25
Got a text at 1214 saying I would be contacted shortly
No call.
Called my insurance at 1:00 and they called this company to be told another 35 mins.
I cancelled the request and we went with another company. Supposed to arrive in 45 minutes or less.
I will never give use this service again, I feel for anybody stuck on the side of the road with kids.

Wow… rude people work here. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST! This lady is making me feel like we’re bothering her. hello, this is your job!

—(MINUS)) 5 stars. I went through my insurance company. I specifically asked for a tow truck and provided an address for the shop I’m taking my car to. They sent a guy in a pick up who tried to talk me into taking my car to his «friends» shop who couldn’t beat the price of my shop. then tried to get me to let him jumpstart my car. I asked why they didn’t send a tow truck, then he started getting sketchy with me and said that it’s ‘standard procedure’ to send someone out to jump it first. what a bunch of BS. SO I told him to scram and get a tow truck. Totally wasted an hour of my time waiting for a tow, and delayed me from getting my car back on the same day so I can get back to work the next day. Plus the shop he was trying to get me to take me car has one review with one start stating what terrible service and crappy job they did.
This is how they make their money. They do things they’re not supposed to do then charge third parties because the call for roadside assistance comes from companies that provide that service for the coverage providers. And by seeing the rest of the reviews, I guess I’m not surprised.
Shame on you LBT&S.

lb towing is awesome, fast, and friendly!!!

I wish I could give this «business» negative stars. They are the worst! I’d bet money that their dispatcher, Melissa, is one of Satan’s minions. She’s 100% pure evil concentrate. Melissa shouldn’t be dealing with other breathing beings for a living, that’s fairly certain. She should be employed somewhere with no contact to the outside world; assembling zippers or something.
With the lousy attitudes of Melissa and the shady driver, I would suggest you find another means of towing your vehicle, even if that means tying the car to your back and carrying it yourself.
Note to Melissa: The driver you sent said you regularly get A LOT of customer complaints so, clearly I’m not alone in finding you completely reprehensible.
Edit: Hyundai Roadside Service sent another towing company to me when Melissa spitefully canceled my order with Long Beach towing. The other company, AGP Towing, arrived in 15 minutes and their driver, Joe, was fantastic! He was polite, pleasant, helpful, and he didn’t even have to tow my car! Joe found the problem, started my car, and advised me on different places where I could take my car for lower cost repairs.

Speaking to the receptionist on the phone made me feel like she didn’t want to talk to me, but when I arrived I realized that they were very busy and were trying to work out a lot of problems at the time. Everyone was rather friendly, especially the boss and the drivers. The receptionist was rather stern, blunt and rather bad at multitasking, but she gets the job done. I was there for quite a while waiting around. Maybe a little under 75 min. I was overcharged which was my main problem. The accident that I was in happened less than 5 miles away and somehow the bill ended up being $ 440 for just the towing and «extra labor». Normally it is $ 10 a mile plus $ 65 for hook up which is what they charged me for towing my car from their facility to the mechanic. But the tow from the accident to storage was charged $ 175 an hour and apparently it took him TWO hours to do it. When I asked about it the receptionist said that’s what the driver wrote down and he’s not here so she can’t do anything about it. I was unpleased, but my insurance seemed to cover the expense so I left it unresolved. Lastly they charged my $ 150 for 3 days worth of storage. I didn’t dispute this charge, but $ 50 a day seemed a little steep. I probably won’t use them again even though they were nice to me through most of the ordeal. Though I’m very grateful they picked me up in the middle of the night while it was raining. They are just very unorganized and probably prone to overcharging due to this fact.

If I can give a 0 star I would. Worst attitude I can ever get from a front desk lady. She gives attitude and when I was talking she put me on hold and tell me to «get it together». Worst ever attitude!!! Will never ever let them do the service for me ever again!!!

Do not use these guys, even if you are having your car towed through your car insurance provider. I specifically requested a «flat bed truck» and was greeted by a «Wheel — lift tow truck». So after contacting the company dispatcher, Ralp, i was given a towing lesson, why a Wheel — lift truck is better than a flat bed truck. Instead of trying to get me a flat bed, he kept on trying to convince me otherwise.

Would give them zero stars if I could. They are contracted with VW of America’s roadside assistance. I got my keys locked in the trunk of my car and needed to have my car towed to the dealer (so they could get my car out of security mode) so VW said these guys would be come at 3:45 (45 minute wait). At 4 pm when they still weren’t at my location so I called VW back and they said that LB Towing and Storage was calling to cancel the service because they couldn’t get someone to my location (Lakewood Mall). A phone call to me from LB Towing before waiting for almost an hour telling me they weren’t going to complete my tow would have been helpful.
This incident took place on 5÷10÷14.

I should of checked on Unilocal before I gave these guys a call but I was in a rush to get towed from the middle of the intersection. The two stars go to their bad time getting your location. I don’t mind paying but I want quality work to back it up. I called for a tow at 2:30 and didn’t get towed til 4:30 and they are just down the street.

Having your vehicle break down and needing a tow is a drag for anyone. Having your vehicle break down, on a holiday weekend, in the rain, in the middle of a busy street, and having your dog with you, and needing a tow, could have really sucked but thanks to LB Tow and specifically Junior, our potentially epic and really sucky evening wasn’t so bad after all.
After having a somewhat frustrating talk with the road service operator at Better World, and then looking on Unilocal to see how LB Towing & Storage rated, we weren’t expecting stellar service. The Better World guy said it would be 55 minutes, and this was after my husband’s 15 minute conversation where he had to repeat himself several times to the BW guy. Ugh.
Junior from LB Tow showed up pretty quickly — within 30 minutes, actually. He was quick and friendly and even allowed us to bring our dog in the cab of his truck with us and hold him on our laps. Whew. I had been texting friends to see if someone could come pick me up and bring my dog and I home, because I was sure we would not have been able to bring our dog with us in the tow truck — and I was not about to let him ride in our vehicle on the flat bed. Our little neurotic canine child would have surely vetoed all car rides from there on out!
Anyway, it’s a shame so many people have had negative experiences with LB Towing and Storage. Our experience last night was the best possible towing experience: the driver arrived before the estimated time, was quick, was very helpful and friendly, his truck was clean and tidy, and he was kind enough to allow our dog up there with us.

Worst company EVER!!! They were contracted by American Express to tow my car. I told them the following:
A)I’m @ work and about to walk to where I left my car. I’m due to arrive by 2:30 and your truck is due to arrive @ 2:45. If he arrives before me, TELL HIM TO WAIT THERE!!! My phone is about to die and I likely won’t be able to receive calls. I’ll be there soon!!!
B) Turns out he arrived @ 2:27, tried to call me, didn’t leave a message, then left.
When I called this co., they said they no longer were going to do the job and now it was on American Express to send a truck from a different company. I kept waiting. 20 minutes later I called this co back and they said the same thing.
My phone finally died and I had to take a bus home.
When I got home to call American Express to complain they said that LB Towing & Storage NEVER canceled the order so AMEX couldn’t send another truck!!! Now today’s Friday and I likely won’t get my car looked @ by my garage until Monday! Thanks a lot you morons!!!

I had to get my car towed 2 days in a row due to engine problems. The first evening was by Long Beach Towing & Storage. This place is very expensive. They charge a «hook up» fee which apparantly goes towards connecting your vehicle to the truck bed. My insurance covers $ 75 worth of towing costs which apparantly, in this case, ended up being the hook up fee + 2 miles. They then charge $ 10 a mile after that. I paid $ 95 to go 11 miles.
At first I thought that was normal until the next day i needed to get towed 9 miles, and paid nothing! The insurance coverage of $ 75 covered the entire 9 miles plus any «hook up» charges they may have had.
When i called Long Beach Towing just to verify the charges, the man that answered the phone would barely let me speak. he kept cutting me off asking questions rather than let me explain my issue. Eventually he took my phone number to call me back to answer my questions, and 36 hours later I am yet to hear anything back.

If I could leave negative stars, I would rate them –50. I had Long Beach Tow come out for a simple tow to my mechanic. As the driver was unloading my car, we noticed a heavy gas smell. Turns out that the driver punctured the gas tank on my 1960 station wagon. Not an easy part to find. 2 weeks later, I’m still fighting with the company to pay the $ 477 bill. They claim they are only liable for $ 250. I am reporting them to BAR and BBB. Do not give this company your business!!!

I have a flat tire. That’s it. They sent a van to come swap out the flat for me with my spare and the guy that shows up didn’t bring an air gun, so what happens? He can’t take off my tire. (This takes an hour to get here btw). So then, they send out a tow truck. I wait another hour, finally I call back to check the status of the tow truck and he hasn’t even sent it out yet. He was waiting for a call back. Are you kidding me? And now he tells me «10 mins» and it’s been 40. Does it really take this long to change a flat tire?! This is ridiculous. Bad service. I am honestly considering driving off with a flat and damaging my rim at this point…
