Long Beach Alignment

Took my pickup truck here on a Sat,” very busy” and had a front end alignment done, price was fair,” same as quoted at other shops”, but Arturo came recommend.
I had to return for an adjustment but overall a good job at a fair price.
I would recommend.

Bad business with this place i brought over a 2003 expedition back in 2013 they replaced a rack n pinion an did alignment i payed about 550. My family hardly uses this truck it only has about 30k original miles on the car since we bought it, early this year my moms gave this truck to my youngest brother we found out the truck was leaking alot from the rack n pinion me an my brothers are all techs but never have time to work on our own cars so we just drop them off to get fixed well i dropped of this truck the second time in april 2015 for another rack n pinion i spend about almost 600 dollars, right now were in early june an this cars is making popin noises from the rack n pinion my moms took it back an the guys excuse is that its the 22″ rims, we have had this truck for about 14 years an since always had 22″ wheels never had problems but me an my brother are both techs hes a tech at nissan an im a smog tech we inspected the truck found out they used cheap rebuilt parts an we know that there not reliable so were buying new from manufacture an gettin it done ourselfs i dont recomend this place 0 stars for this place they dont take pride in their work we should be reporting them to the bureau of automotive repair but were better people then them

Good service, and open weekends

This place almost killed me ! I’ll explain what happened.
I brought my Toyota Tacoma here because I had been experiencing the following symptoms: tight steering, my steering would not recenter automatically, and it was very wobbly steering on the freeway.
The owner or someone I assume is the owner, put it up on the rack and it sat there for about 40 minutes. Finally I saw him start to look at it. After about another 30 minutes of his distracted inspection he came back and said everything is good now. He explained to me that the tie rod had become bent a little bit somehow so he decided to «loosen it up a bit» he asked me if I wanted him to do an alignment so I said yes because I just had new tires put on as well.
Once I drove the car away I realized the same problem persisted, it seemed a little better but I couldn’t tell the difference that much and if they did an alignment I would never have known because it still was pulling a little.
Today I was backing my truck out of a parking stall and the ball joint broke sending my truck crashing to the ground. If I had been driving on the freeway it’s very likely I could’ve had a bad accident including the loss of my life. I had the ball joint repaired and the truck drives just like the first day I bought it. In fact the steering problem is completely gone which is why I brought it to this business in the first place.
⁰⁄₁₀ would not recommend this place.

Arturo was attentive. I’ve been to many shops and stood at the door looking for eye contact so someone would tend to me. I left my car for brakes and rotors turned on all four wheels and my alignment was off. Work was done the same day. I received a call to approve quote. Today I’m rolling happy. My Tundra hasn’t ran this good for months. Heres the trick… get there early or else you may wait long. First in line wins early bird catches the first worm. in this case great work for a very very reasonable price I read a review stating that if you were Hispanic it might work for you… that guy is a dumb ass turning this into a racial topic. Minus one Star because it’s an all cash business I imagine for tax reasons but he still charged me sales tax. .if I’m paying cash I’d like a firm price flat rate quote.

Recommended this place to a lady friend and the owner totally texted her and asked her if he could take her out to dinner! Lol. How unprofessional! Not to mention he is around 45 years and she is half his age. They do the job, just don’t give him your phone number if he offers you a «receipt» for next time

It was a busy place. I’m a little leary while waiting since the work is very fast, nashcar pit mechanic will be proud. It is cheap (cash only). Now the bad is the work is not quality. I came here since my driver front tire is wearing excessively in the outer tire. Now after a month, the wear became accelarated and also the right tire starting to wear excessively on the outside, will need new tires. Before the work being done, I explained this to the mechanic and that the car run straight other than the 1 front tire wear. I don’t have any confidence that any re-​work will be done properly. Save your money and go to a more reputable business. I tried to save a few bucks and it’s just not worth it, with time loss and double work. Got a feeling it’s only good if you’re a hispanic customer.

Crappy Experience at long beach alignment.
Ive been here before and it was cool no issue but this time the person who was attending the customer lacked some customer service. I greeted the person they asked what i needed and i told them an alignment (i did not get a name but it was not the owner arturo) initially asked how much would the job be. I was told 45 $ or 65 $ on what exactly he did not elaborate. As i exited the office, another customer pulled in and they started attending him first and pull his truck into the shop. now go ahead and attend your customer but if you are dealing with another customer first at least tell them to please take a seat, let me see what this other customer needs and I am going to get right to your car. Did not get any of that, not cool. So any way the person took my car for a test drive to check the alignment and came back. And already i was not feeling good about the experience. But i figure i will give them a chance. So when he came back he told to me that the car needed a four wheel alignment. And it would cost 110 $ and thats 55 $ for the front and 55 $ for the rear. At the moment I was thinking what happened with 65 $ or 45 $, and yeah i know 65+45 is 110, but how it was communicated it seemed like the 65 or 45 prices was based on the severity of the alignment. I mean whatever just avoid all of this and post the rates on the office wall. Have it stated somewhere. Any way the lack of customer service, just a friendly greeting and inform the customer of what is up price wise and put up the prices for the services visibly. Anyway it seems they flip floped on prices they should not treat a single customer this way.

Needed to finally get the car aligned so I wouldn’t prematurely wear out my new tires. Went to Long Beach Alignment after reading the reviews. And I’m here on Unilocal to say I completely agree with the other Unilocalers — more than reasonable rates and awesome customer service. Oh, and my car tracks straight now :-) Thanks!

Got my car aligned for 45 bucks. Other places were charging me 65. Mechanic was honest and i will definitely come. back

Minus a star for being CASH/​check only

I’ve taken my vehicle here for «alignments, balancing, etc.» to make sure my tires don’t wear out as much due to potholes, bumps, etc from my daily driving on the streets and freeway.
Like I mention before, in an industrial area of Long Beach.
One thing to take note: «CASH ONLY». Sorry, that’s why the prices are fair or inexpensive on the repairs and etc.
They test-​drive my compact car 3 – 4 times after each tweak to make sure the alignment and the problem with the front being off an «inch» due to hitting potholes and etc. I know what I hit on a daily basis. It sucks.
I’ve spoken to other customers there… they do transmission work and etc. Can’t hurt to get a quote from them. Someone got their Acura TL 2005 transmission with only 100K miles on it done here for less than what the dealer was asking.
They have a pet bird here in the cage that you can see from the outside. Seems like it talks, but who knows.

The owner Arturo is very knowledgeable in both alignment and car repairs. The alignment price might be the lowest in Long Beach and the quality is excellent. They aligned my 2003 Saab 9 – 3 which had very bad shaking and pulling to the sides on the straightr road. After alignment job the car was driving fine.

This place is really small but nice. I got an alignment here a few months ago and it was a straight as an line. A straight one. I like the fact that Arturo was very friendly and professional. He took me on a test drive with him since my check engine light was on and told me the possibilities of why it would be on. He instructed on some of the things he can do to try and fix it. He even reset the Check Engine light to check and see if it might be the gas cap leak. I liked the fact that he was really honest. The next day he called my cellphone to follow up on the vehicle, I thought this was very courteous. I enjoyed working with him and luckily my car hasn’t been giving me any mechanical problems but I know if It did I would show up here.
