Specialties
We represent children with disabilities seeking special education services under the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act («IDEA»). Our primary emphasis is in the representation of children with autism in administrative due process proceedings and federal court, and our goal is to obtain necessary services and supports to ensure that our clients receive a free appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment. In addition to special education cases, we also represent persons with developmental disabilities under the Lanterman Act, a state statute which guarantees the right of eligible consumers to receive services designed to maximize their ability to live and work in the community at large.
