We are event planners that have tried, notice I say tried, to use this linen company. We tried the first time to rent linens for a wedding as a «private person» Things did not go well. the ball got dropped more times than I can count and we finally decided that it was not worth it and got our linens elsewhere. Fast forward two years and we are now trying to set up a small bridal expo event. We contacted her again as she was a long beach linen company and the event is for Long Beach business owners. We contacted her six weeks ago as she now rents to vendors only, not individuals. We thought that this change would have helped her customer service. Courtney was on board and said she would supply our linens. We called and left messages of colors, number of linens and sizes. We became concerned as the time started to approach and she was not answering our calls the week of the event. We finally tried from a different number and she picked up the phone because she did not recognize it as being our number. We were promised the linens that day. Three days later we do not have them. Thank heavens we had developed a back up plan. We tried several times to give her a fair chance and even told her that we had no other choice but to leave a bad review. I agree, if I could leave negative stars I would. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN, SHE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO OPERATE A BUSINESS AND YOU WILL ONLY BE LEFT WITH NOTHING!!!

I wish I could say that I received horrible service but that would mean I actually received some service. Left 2 messages that were never returned. I would take the negative reviews seriously and stay clear.

At first everything was great. They were very accommodating with setting an appointment that worked with my schedule and when I got there, Courtney, the sales person, was waiting for us.
However, upon entering the office I saw a sample table setting that did not match the color scheme I had previously discussed with her over the phone and she went on to explain that the one that was there was for another couple that had been there earlier. In other words, even though she knew we were coming, (and we had discussed over the phone my color and fabric preferences) she didn’t bother setting up a table for us. Was it too much to ask?
Then she starts making the quote. She tells me that she doesn’t have the table cloths in the fabric and color I want at the showroom to show to me, but that she has them in their warehouse. So, I have to rent them without even seeing them in real life to make sure those are the ones I want? Hmm… that doesn’t seem right.
Then she hands me the quote…
The prices here are ridiculous for rentals. Umm…29 dollars per table cloth? I don’t think so. The pintuck napkins I wanted where 2.50 each, so she opted to change it to a regular satin napkin @ 1.50 a piece. The gold, regular acrylic charger plate were 2.50 a piece. Plus a 50 dollar delivery charge for a two and a half block drive to my venue, which was a house in Bixby Knolls.
I ended up PURCHASING the same exact table clothes for 15 dollars each. The pintuck napkins that I wanted, for 50 cents each, and the gold charger plates for 99 cents a piece. I saved 260 dollars by doing a little research and I got to keep everything I bought. Maybe it was because I didn’t need high quantities of each thing that my quote was so much but I still feel it was unreasonable.
The one thing that was reasonably priced were the chiavari chairs that I Oh so wanted for my wedding. They were priced at 5.50 a piece. Courtney followed up two days later and I responded by saying I didn’t need the linens anymore but I did need the chairs and would like to book them. I also needed a quote for draping, which I was prepared to pay whatever it took because I was hell bent on having draping. About a week and a half passed and I didn’t get a response, so I tried emailing her again… nothing. Sorry I’m a hard working bride on a budget but I wasn’t about to throw away my hard earned money on linens I could easily purchase for much less.
