My mom and sister were flying in from different locations to me is for the Olympic marathon trials and a Disney trip. They booked Johnny last minute and wow were they impressed.
Johnny helped them with info about the airport, watched their flights, made some changes on the fly and got them to their location. Great personality. And a huge comfort knowing family is taken care of when you can’t do it. We will be using him again!

Johnny’s was terrific! Reasonably priced, reliable and clean. We booked the shuttle to/​from LAX and Long Beach. Van was direct and exclusive just for our party. Johnny texted us the day before to confirm and he was prompt and friendly on the phone. I called lots of other shuttle and limo services and this was the most competitive price. Note that there is a nominal $ 3 service charge for credit card payments so we charged the roundtrip at the same time with no problem. Receipt was sent via email. He was waiting for us at the cell phone waiting lot when we arrived at LAX so picked us up quickly after we got our bags at baggage and arrived 15 min early at our hotel for our return to the airport. I would highly recommend Johnny’s shuttle service and would use them in future!

Johnny was the best service we’ve every had to the airport. He texted the night before picking us up and arrived on time and texted to say he had come.
Our flight was delayed coming home and Johnny texted to say he was following the flight. When we landed, there was a message waiting that he was in the cell phone lot at LAX and to call when we had our luggage. It all went smoothly.

Johnny was amazing to me on the phone. We usually park at Holiday Inn LGB and take the hotel shuttle to the airport, but we missed our flight and had to drive one-​way into Vegas this time, which required a shuttle home from our return flight.
I called at the very last minute. In Vegas. On New Year’s Eve. I got a very friendly and accommodating voice, an incredible flat fee, a private shuttle for my exhausted family, and Johnny included a child car seat. Our driver, Hum Van, was the BEST. His phone/​text communications were timely and helpful, and his van was clean and equipped with a wonderful car seat that kept my baby snug and comfy enough to sleep all the way home. The car seat looked like ours at home, and we paid a pretty penny for it, so I can tell Johnny seriously invests in his business to give his customers nothing but the best. Hum’s adept command of the GPS got us home quickly but safely. He was funny, warm and delightful. Honestly, we can’t thank Johnny’s Shuttle Service enough. We have tried every shuttle service on earth (we travel to Vegas and the UK a lot), and THIS is who we are going with from now on.

We hated our hotel, our fault. We had a really tough trip deciding to go to Disney with 70 friends and an 18 month old nephew. BUT! Our shuttle service choice made us look like geniuses! Our trip started with a quick and friendly drive from the long beach airport to a hotel I’m not going to mention. We spent the rest of the trip talking to ourselves, and friends about the great service we received. After the absolute nightmare of waiting for the city shuttle for a week strait, I’d had it. 50 minutes isn’t «about 20 minutes» they claim that you’ll wait for the city shuttle. At the conclusion of our trip, We needed to get back to the hotel, grab our bags, then bust it to the airport. Our fare for the round trip from the airport was set, I texted Johnny begging him to pick us up at the park. I offered him a 20 for the extra ride, he got back to me at light speed (seriously, I don’t know how he answers so fast) but he was waiting for us with bells on a little before our regular pick up time. We stopped and got our bags, flew to the airport, no worries, not even a hint of a Hick up! You may find someone «as good» as Johnys, but you’ll NEVER find a better shuttle service (or better dude) than the big dog himself!

Johnny Shuttle was on time to pick us up and take us to the Newport Beach Catalina dock. The driver was courtious, and helped us with all the luggage. He told us where they would pick us up on our return three days later. A day before our return, they sent us a confirmation text. Day of they sent another confirmation text. Once they arrived at the location, they sent a text to let us know they were there. We had a great experience and would highly recommend them.

Excellent customer service from the time I called to book a shuttle, to my final drop off at airport. I called 3 days prior to my trip and Johnny was able to book a round trip shuttle for my son and I from Long Beach airport to our hotel near Disneyland and unlike other places I did not have to pay in advance or hold it with a credit card.
I did inform him I chose his service based on the great Unilocal reviews :).
I received a confirmation text later that day confirming my shuttle appointments and my quoted price. I also received a text confirmation the day before I left and that morning as I left for the airport. When I arrived to Long Beach airport the driver was already there and called me to let me know where he would be waiting and to take my time. Service was the same when I had to leave, confirmation text the day before and 20 minutes before the driver called and told me he was on his way. Very pleasant young man.
I have Johnny’s number saved in my phone for future trips to the area.
Great service, you will not be disappointed and if you are, just call and voice your issue and work it out, no service or person is perfect.

The driver was very nice and courteous, the «owner» Johnny who quoted me on my price however is untrustworthy and will change prices on you to see if he can get more money. After quoting me on a price of $ 70 round trip he called me an hour after I had already been back from my trip to tell me there was a miss understanding and that I owed him another $ 70. I will never recommended this shuttle service and never use this shuttle service ever again.

We had the misfortune to be leaving on a cruise the first Saturday in October, when there would be 4 ships in the port. We knew it would be chaos with parking, traffic and having to take a bus from parking to the ship, so we decided to call Johnny. This was the best decision we’ve ever made. There were 4 of us with a lot of luggage, and he loaded all of us up and promptly took us to our destination. We were so impressed with the service going down, the wives insisted we call Johnny for the return.
These were the most hassle free experiences we’ve ever had. Like all the reviewers have mentioned: he confirms your pickup time, he’s on-​time, waiting for you. If we ever need a shuttle in the LA area again, Johnny will be the first one we call.

This is the best shuttle service I have ever used!!! There was 7 of us traveling and one is 3 years old. All of the other shuttle service providers make you use your own car seat or charge a premium fee for the use of one. John is the best he will provide one for you. That is a big plus!
John will send you a reminder text the day before, and an hour before he picks you up. Once he arrives at the pick up point the first thing you notice is how clean the van is, and not to mention how nice and professional John is. After we loaded up and hit the road (it was rush hour) John found the fastest route to the airport. I have not arrived at LAX that fast in rush hour.
We also booked John’s service for the return trip when we got back. We could not make the original fight in the morning and had to take a latter flight. We called John and he had no problem modifying the return pickup.
If you need shuttle service look no further. John has the best shuttle service ever!

All right. Let’s just say I’m so lucky to have found this business. I don’t like supporting large shuttle services where you are just a number. They are a professional business with whole lot of personal touch. This is why I chose them initially. Do you really want to figure out parking, shuttle from the lot, all while fighting time? I don’t. I want to just go door to the terminal. I don’t want to save a few bucks to figure parking, while hoping my car won’t be damaged when I return. I don’t want to fight time waiting for a shuttle from the lot to the terminal. You pay just a few bucks more to make life easier, and isn’t it all about that anyways?
I just had a last minute plan to visit a friend in Texas. Decision was made just few hours prior to the flight. I didn’t hesitate to call. Easiest decision. One call to Johnny and it was done. Then a text arrived confirming the ride, then another at arrival.
If you can get a ride with Johnny himself, it’s a treat. He’s funny, patient, proud business owner, and father. This is why I support local businesses. There is always a face to the business, and pride in all they do. You really get a feeling they truly appreciate your patronage, and I love that. He even remembered the trip he drove my husband and I from few months ago. He asked how our anniversary was. Who does that?
Even other shuttle services (which I’ve used) you feel like a cattle herd in a packed, dirty van (a popular company, which remains nameless).
One call, easy ride, clean, roomy van, no wait, great drivers… that’s enough for me!

I gave another shuttle service a 5 stars review a couple of years ago, so came back to Unilocal to look up their number to book another ride. That’s when I noticed Johnny and his great reviews. All the reviews were intriguing, so had to give him a try…
His quote was initially higher, but said he would match the other company. That impressed me. I also liked that you don’t have to pre-​pay for the ride, so you don’t lose anything or have to hassle with refunds in unforeseen event if your trip gets canceled.
Like all the reviewers have mentioned: he confirms your pickup time, he’s on-​time, waiting for you. As a plus, Juan is a cheerful and interesting man, so it was a pleasant ride even when we got stuck in traffic on the way home. Great service!

I used Johnny’s Shuttle Service to transport a small group of students from Santa Ana to downtown Los Angeles and back for some programming I was hosting (I run a nonprofit organization for youth) and I have to say that Johnny went above and beyond with his service. He was very proactive about following up and sending confirmation texts. On my end, I definitely wanted someone that would be able to provide safe and reliable transportation to my students in order to give their parents peace of mind that they are safe under my care and he definitely delivered. Not only was he prompt, but he was willing to be flexible when we shifted our pick up time in LA by a couple of hours. Hands down the service is amazing and we will definitely use him again for other events.
Lastly, I so appreciated the kindness Johnny demonstrated to my students. He really took care of them and for that I am so grateful!

I really appreciate the fact he shows up early. The confirmation text msg the day before and 1 hour before the ride are helpful and reassuring. The van is the cleanest private shuttle (including limos) that I have used. In fact, it even smells good inside. Johnny is professional, clean-​cut, well spoken and an overall nice guy.
Do not hesitate to hire Johnny’s for your private transportation needs. I look forward to using his service again.

My experience began when I called the number and left my information for a callback. Within an hour John, the owner, called me back. He checked his schedule and said he was able to accommodate me. He told me I didn’t have to pay until the service was rendered and that he would confirm the day before. I was a little skeptical because I had no other record for my service besides his word. I quickly learned that his word was all I needed.
Johnny showed up early and was very accommodating when our plans changed a bit. On our way home he made sure he tracked our flight and even called me when he noticed a storm. He reassured me that he would be there whenever we arrived.
All in all we are very happy with the service that John provided. We will use him for all of our transportation needs.

I have booked transportation for my parents visiting from Malaysia, feeling nervous initially wondering whether my parents will be able to make their flights or find the driver when they do not have a phone available. Fortunately, Johny, put my worries to ease when he assured me that he would take good care of my parents. My parents later told me that they highly recommend him as he is very nice, pleasant and they enjoyed their convesations!
My phone conversations with him were great as he was very friendly and easy to talk to. He even pulled over his car and tell me his van title so that I could let my parents know what vehicle to look for.

We decided to book Johnny/​California Shuttles based on the stellar Unilocal reviews and we were not disappointed. Booking was easy, Johnny was very informative and helpful.
I appreciated received a confirmation text the day before and morning of our trip. What’s more, they’ll provide a carseat or booster for your little one should you need it. Prices were reasonable (we paid 100 $ for round-​trip).
We were picked up at our home 5 minutes early and were at LGB in no time. The ride over was pleasant and Johnny was very friendly. Once we arrived at the airport he gave us clear instructions for our return.
Upon our return flight, I received a text message as soon as we landed informing me our driver was waiting for us and where to meet him. Our driver was pleasant enough. His navigation system instructed him to go the long way to our home, we tried to give him a quicker route home, but he didn’t seem to understand (language barrier?) or want to know. In any case, we got home safely (albeit it took longer, heh).
All in all, great service and we will definitely recommend Johnny/​California Shuttle to our friends.

We booked this service for a ride to LAX from long beach. It was my husband, myself, and our 19month old son. Johnny was our driver.
Shuttle van was super clean and so that was nice. Also, what was important to us was that there was plenty of room for all the stuff we had (traveling with a baby we had sd SO much extra stuff — stroller, car seat, pack n play, etc) and there was more than enough room. Johnny even provided a car seat for free if we needed.
Johnny was so nice, personable, professional, and just a really nice guy. He was helpful with all our luggage. He was perfectly on time, and got us to the airport with perfect timing. I really appreciated getting a reminder/​confirmation text the day before our trip and also the morning of our trip. When I have a million things I had to get together before our trip, it was awesome to get that txt and not have to worry about making the call to confirm our ride.
I would recommend this service and Johnny 100%. We will definitely use him again. Well worth the price for the personal service that we received.
