My co worker and I got off work and needed to get a pedi done so we dropped by and I couldn’t believe it they took us both right away and mind you they were Close to closing. They even offer u tea or water which was very polite.
But over all I really enjoyed my pedicure thank you J B Nails !!!

Me and my friend came here late after work at 7 but they still took us. We got pedicures so bomb,(the massages and what not) I feel like they did a little extra here compared to others. Thank you

Came in on a Friday at 2pm, picked out my colors and waited about 5 minutes to be seated at a nail station. The man who greeted me was friendly and attentive. I came in wanting to fix three nails and have the rest reshaped and a gel color change. The woman who did my nails did an excellent job. My total was 27 dollars. I would definitely come here again, Thank you so much! Love it !

I have been looking for a nail salon in my area that will do a good job. The nail salon I had been patronizing before was hit and miss, but more miss. The last gel set I got from them was so bad, I decided it wasn’t worth my time to drive as far as I was for a crappy job, let alone an expensive price.
So, I tried them out, with my daughter in tow. Not only did they do a fabulous job with the gel, but they were incredibly patient with my five year old daughter, who has trouble sitting still and waiting for her nails to dry.
The second time I went in, it was packed and we had to wait. The poor salon was inundated with a large group, but they only have so many spa chairs and manicure stations. One woman started getting upset because her daughter wasn’t put into a chair right away, even though another woman came in after her daughter and was seated immediately. I saw what the owner was trying to do and I agreed with it, but the woman with the daughter did not. In small salons such as these, they try to accommodate everyone and he saw that it would be best for the daughter to wait a few minutes more and everyone would be happy. But, the woman and her friends continued to snark, even when her daughter was taken to a spa chair (in 3 – 5 minutes, like the owner said). I hate that. I told him specifically I didn’t mind waiting. And, I didn’t. I didn’t mind waiting because I knew they were going to do a good job.
And, they did.
Their price for a full gel set manicure and a child’s manicure is unbelievably affordable. I couldn’t believe my ears when they told me the price the first time. For the time they take to make sure the gel looks good (my ring finger nail was a bit tricky because the gel has to be applied several times for it have complete, sparkly coverage), the price is beyond worth it. I’m willing for them to charge what they do and pay extra for a tip than be overcharged for a crappy job.
Be aware that you need to bring cash for a tip! They were so kind about it on my second trip there. I didn’t have any cash for a tip, so I told my nail guy that I would be back in a little bit and he was totally OK with watching me walk out the door without a tip at all. I felt totally bad about that, but I’m glad he trusted me to come back. I wonder how many don’t come back, though.
Anyway… I’ve only been to this location twice, but I’ve been very happy with the results. I’m pretty rough on my hands and nails and the gel sets I’ve gotten from them have lasted for weeks. I usually wait 3 – 4 weeks before each set, too. I wasn’t disappointed at all.

Well this place has since redeemed themselves. Ive been going back regularly and only allowing certain staff to service me! I have since fell in love with Monica! My lord is she talented! She prepared my nails beautifully for my Disney cruise. She is the very best… take a loon for yourself!

Updating my review because charging more for white and black paint isn’t as bad as my last review of a nail salon in Carson.
Also, ask for monica! She is fast AND METICULOUS! She painted my nails black, and she never once had to use her nails to scrape off the excess paint. Hate that. Learn to paint.
They offer water or green tea if you’re into hydrating yourself at the nail salon.
Parking could be better but I never had trouble.

I had a really good experience here until a couple months later I got a toe nail infection. this was the only place I’ve been to in months to get my feet done. I called to talk to the manager and she asked me to come in and when i did she tried to play me like I was stupid and tried to say I’ve had this «infection» for «years» and that it was not a toe nail infection and they only use clean supplies. I was calm about the whole situation until she tried to tell me I was wrong. I think I know my body. Very rude and pushy. don’t waist your time ladies.

This location gave me a toe fungus. The girl who gave me my pedi I don’t believe she is a regular worker there. I have been coming here for a while I have had my fair share of pedicures here and I’ve never came across any sort of situations. I did go to a doctor he did prescribe me a cream but he said to be consistent it will take a while for my nail to go back to normal. Unfortunately it was both big toes my right one fell off and my left is purple… Sadly to say that I will not be returning and maybe not JUST because they gave me an infection BUT because I won’t be able to do anything to my nails in a very long while. — I’m still debating if I should post a picture or not just because it’s not a pretty image.

Welp, rudeness and rushing through a gel soak off leading to the detriment of ones «once healthy» nail bed will get you fired.
JB… YOU’RE FIRED!!!
Also please clean your store. I mean really, things must have gotten really bad. It’s filthy. Another reason I’ll just pay the Kings ransom at SURRENDER SALON where all the products are organic and you are guaranteed to get both the time and product you paid for.

Folks, look at the floors. The dirt should have you outraged.
And please (for any of you thinking you might want to come here) stay off your cell phone and WATCH your technician.
Some sneaky underhanded tricky things going on while your head is in your «text» book.
And lastly, if it’s not right DONT PAY. Don’t be a jerk when confronting your technician but definitely do not hand over your credit card for something you aren’t happy with. It makes no sense to complain about it. They won’t improve with complaints; hit em in the pocket book where it will make an impact.

A week later — the top cost is peeling off on most nails… I don’t think it was the gel kind… but they sure charged me for it.
–not going back. They get one star for attentiveness and clean design, but $ 38 plus tip to chip off within a week is lame.

I love that they give you green tea while you wait. They are friendly and quick service.

Went to this location because I was turned away from nails today due to it being too late (6:30 pm) and I am happy I did! I showed up at 6:45 pm (location closes at 7 pm) and JB nails warmly accepted me. The place is very clean and had good nail polish color options. Josefina (I may have gotten her name wrong. yessina?) did my pedicure and did a great job! She took her time and almost put me to sleep with that amazing foot massage! I appreciate it when businesses stay open later to accommodate clients’ hectic work schedules. Will definitely be coming back.
Ps tip is cash only!

Great people and service they are all pleasant people and do a very clean job. I must say I actually appreciate the real foot massage instead of the soft foot rub like most other places. They offer water and tea and have great prices!

The people here are the rudest I’ve ever met. As soon as I walked in some woman said (in Vietnamese) «Oh she didn’t pay last time» which is untrue, I had never even been there before.
I was in a rush so I didn’t bother to correct her. I don’t have a Vietnamese accent so many people assume I only speak English. I sat down and she started working on my nails, and trash talking me right in front of my face. I looked straight at her and said «I speak Vietnamese.» She nodded at me as if she was paying attention and continued talking about me, calling me cheap and other things I can’t remember at the moment.
By this time I was furious. Another staff member asked me to pay before they were done with my nails. I agreed, but tipped only $ 7, which, to be honest, was $ 7 more than they deserved! She DARED to continue talking shit about me, calling me cheap and saying other derogatory things. Tips are not mandatory, you should earn your tips and frankly, you deserved a kick in the teeth.
I will NEVER go back to JB Nails! Save yourself the embarrassment and go anywhere else!

Fav nail shop. David is the best! I’ve been going to him since i moved to Bixby Knolls at the beginning of this year, & i can say he has never disappointed me. He always does an amazing job. They have great customer service and they even provide you with green tea or water during your visit. Gotta try them out, the whole staff is great.

I read the reviews and decided to try it out. I’m in love with this place. Prices are reasonable and the customer service is great! I love my nails! They offer you water or tea as soon as you come in. I also noticed they were kid friendly and they are just great people here. I felt very comfortable.

No problem we were told…
We had a wonderful relaxing time!
I came back whithout my daughter who lives in San Francisco and the experience was absolutely the same as the first time.
The ladies are professionals and do an excellent job.
They also have a couple of guys paint the nail but i prefer the ladies to touch my feet and legs. Just me!

I love going to this place! Everyone here is always so kind and wiling to help you with what you need. If you’re looking for a fabulous gel manicure, go to Jenny! She’s super sweet and does an amazing job every time. The prices are cheaper that most places and it is clean and I always feel welco

My mom and I found J B Nails on Unilocal.The establishment is very warm and inviting. The staff is very friendly and very professional. They offered us green tea and water and there is also free wifi, massage chairs etc.
Tina and Vivian gave us pedicures with a wonderful scrub and massage.
Vivian was very kind and really helped me learn how to take care of my feet, like how to reduce the calluses on my heels. She gave me the best foot and leg massage– the perfect gift for an overtired new mom.
Tina gave my mom a wonderful massage too. My mom almost fell asleep because she was, I quote, «in heaven».
Our feet feel and look amazing!

My favorite nail place in Long beach. They do a great job on gel. Try the gel mood polish.
I always love coming to J B, but I don’t always get over here because I now live in Belmont Heights. They are super nice and Johnny always offers green tea or water.
Everyone i’ve had is pretty good, but of course people have their faves. They do a really great job with Gel here, some other places, I have gotten crappy gel. I like it here and prefer JB over other nail spots.
