J & J Plumbing and Drain Cleaning

I was really rooting for this guy because of all the great reviews. In addition, he was prompt in returning my calls. However, the day he was supposed to come his guy came more than 2 hours late. He then spent over 2 hours attempting to fix a backed up tub and toilet… To no avail. I’d give 1 star but Joe was pretty like able and also didn’t charge anything for his time. (I should hope not). My dad called his plumber and they had a high pressure hose in there. Done and done in an hour.

Very pleased… Called on Monday morning and they were out within an hour. Quickly cleared out two clean outs and price was very reasonable. No hidden charges and no attempt to up charge on anything… Trustworthy and Professional…

I will definitely recommend J & J Plumbing. Joe helped me last year by using a camera in my main line to determine that my root problem was the city’s responsibility, saving me thousands of dollars! Today he came out and cleared my kitchen clean out. He is friendly, prompt, and gets the job done for a reasonable price!

I called J & J Plumbing on 7÷6÷18 early in the morning to see if they could look at a clogged sink in a rental house located in Long Beach, told him the tenants availability. And they went to the house did the work, he had to go to a couple of stores to find the right part, but he found the part fixed both bathroom sinks and now the tenant is a happy camper. It was a very smooth process. I think I have a new plumber. Also, I had my handy man at the house to over see things (the plumber thought he was the tenant’s husband) and my handy man who is a licensed contractor said that Joe and his son’s were nice people and that they did a good job. I’ll be using his services again if needed. I love the fact that he could do the job on the same day I called and he finished that same day as well, as a landlord that’s very important; you want to keep your tenants happy and your property well maintained!

Hi my name is victor white handyman. Many people in Long Beach may know me as a highly sought after handyman. I make it a high priority of mine to make sure everything I take on gets finished come hell or high water. Last night at customer’s toilet was filled up to the second story with wet wipes and everything you can imagine, I called my to usual plumbers and they said no thanks see you tomorrow morning and for $ 275. The price kind of blew me out of the water for my usual guys and the fact that neither one of them wanted it until tomorrow kind of just rubbed me wrong. So I went digging online thru
and found j and j plumbing and he says I’ll be out after dinner for 150. I felt terrible that I was interrupting his meal and relaxation time but these were his words and I was willing to work with him. It turns out small world he has done work at this property before and that was a small blessing for me. I can tell you now I will be using j and j plumbing for now and as long as I can and that says a lot coming from victor white handyman.

Leaving our rental property as Joe is driving away. He didn’t hesitate to come over at 8:30pm and make a difficult job look easy. Great guy; courteous and professional.
Will use his company again without hesitation.

Joe always takes care of your issues and even made an exception to work on a day he normally does not work! Always honest about his availability and customer service. He had to suffer through a repipe and drain replacement for me plus other tenant drain issues. Will be calling him again I’m sure.

Joe and his crew showed up multiple times until the job was done. Snaked 150′, fiberoptic cameras, repiping, etc. They even worked through Labor Day weekend. Excellent service. Well done… Highly recommend!

I got a call from my tenant telling me that an exterior pipe sprung a leak. I called J & J Plumbing and he was there in about 20 minutes. He called to tell me it was an easy fix and quoted me a reasonable price. When I met him at the house, he was very professional. Based on his service and honesty, I will definitely recommend and use him again.

We had a waterline bust in our wall and we figured it out in the early evening. By this time of day, most plumbers were already done for the day. Our go-​to plumber apologized for not being able to make it out. So there we were, with the main water line shut off, over 2 inches of water pooled under our house, and no prospect of taking a shower.
Luckily we found Joe of J&J Plumbling. I called and he picked up. He was headed home but kindly stopped by to help us out. He gave us a fair price considering the time of night. Not only was he very capable and experienced, he was also a nice, honest guy. Joe explained to us the problem. He drove to 2 Home Depots as they were closing to get the materials. Then he got to work. About an hour in, we learned that he had skipped dinner so we bought some fast food (we were hungry too!). The job was done a little after midnight. Everything works fine now.

Needed a plumber for the house I’m renting, don’t want to spend a fortune but need to get the pipes unclogged. Joe came out that day, took his time making sure everything was fixed and working, and charged me LESS than I thought I would have to pay. Now how often can you say that… never! Will definitely keep his card and refer to friends!

I called several plumbers last Saturday to get a bath drain unclogged. Joe was the only one to answer his phone and was available that day. According to my tenant, he showed up on time and a did a good job. His fee was very reasonable. He was easy to work with.

After trying to unclog the toilet in the bathroom for a couple of hours and not being able to contact plumbers we have already used, we decided to hit the internet. After about a dozen phone calls and outrageous quotes, we got a hold of J&J Plumbing. He was available, fast, friendly and no surprises! We will definitely use this plumbing service again.

Joe and his company get my highest recommendation. I’m a landlord in Long Beach with multiple properties from homes to apartment buildings, so plumbing issues of all types come up frequently for me. I had tried dozens of plumbers (literally) before I found Joe and his company around 7 years ago, and have never used any other plumber since! I call him to take care of all my issues at my properties — he has cleared stoppages (frequently with tenants!), re-​piped my historic 4-​unit building, installs sinks, toilets, garbage disposals, faucets, etc. regularly, found and repaired leaks, cleared main lines, installed and fixed water heaters and gas wall heaters — you name it. He answers his own cell phone, so you can always reach him and talk to him directly — which is great, especially in emergencies. He’s polite, my tenants like and trust him so I don’t have to be there, and he shows up when he says he will! He cleans everything up when he is finished, which my tenants like too. His prices are always fair and reasonable, which I really appreciate because as a landlord I have a lot of plumbing issues. And HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. His work is top notch (and I’ve tried a lot of plumbers), and he always fixes the problem the RIGHT WAY. Can’t say enough good things about this company.
