Established in 2014.
We started the ItzyBitzies while I was trying to find easy ways to prepare healthy food with my left arm, while recovering from 2 rotator-cuff surgeries on my right dominant shoulder.
A Dr. Oz show recommended dried fruit, raw nuts and seeds but it wasn’t easy to pack them all in on a daily basis, so I mashed and rolled a bunchful into healthy, energy-filled itsy-bitzy balls, which were easy to make, required no cooking, stayed fresh for 2 – 3 months without refrigeration, and also satisfied my sweet cravings, especially the ones dipped in dark, white or mixed chocolate!
The ItzyBitzies are fast replacing traditional chocolates as popular Gourmet Gift Items, especially since they are Gluten & Grain Free and can be served as Guilt-Free Dessert in lieu of cake for any party or celebration for ages 5 – 95!
