Goldie’s is named after our grandmother, a woman of style and panache from Northern California who believed that feeling great is the first step to looking great. With her spirit in mind, we hand-​select and offer pieces that are chic, comfortable, affordable, and most of all, beautiful. You won’t ever find deceptive body retouching on our images. We want you to know how it looks and fits on a real girl — just like you!

History

Established in 2014.

Goldie’s On 4th, located on Retro Row in Long Beach, is the flagship store for shopat​goldies​.com, a new clothing company featuring hand-​curated finds with creative women and sunny girls in mind!

Our team members have worked as buyers and art directors for internationally recognized fashion brands. This experience, combined with a fresh point of view, sets us apart from other boutiques! We are proud to offer our unique point-​of-​view, boutique quality, and optimistic aesthetic to shoppers in Southern California and online.

We cater to women of regular and plus sizes.

Goldie’s is a gift to women shoppers. My son’s girlfriend and I both find cute, hip, reasonable priced clothes every time we visit this store. They work hard to keep their price point low– and we appreciate it! Not focused on overly trendy stuff, Goldie’s does an artful job of curating their wares to tempt people of widely varying sizes and aesthetic proclivities. I always find something I end up loving and wearing out. This is not the cheaply produced stuff of Old Navy, Gap and other sweatshop driven corporations. I buy a lot of jersey. A lot of jersey becomes pilly almost the second you put it on – even pricey Eileen Fisher stuff – the garments I have bought at Goldie’s are not the flimsy stuff of chain stores. Tons of cute, affordable jewelry and other fun findings. Finally, the owner and staff are WONDERFUL. They are committed to a vision of offering cute, sexy clothes for women of many shapes. And everything in the store is priced so that objects are well within reach of what your wallet can spare. This store is on the side of women who want to look beautiful, feel sexy and comfortable and not have to feel guilty about some splurge to some faceless garment monolith. Check it out! Sales prices are irresistibly awesome.

Came in today around 8pm and Savannah was so helpful and welcoming! My whole experience at this store was amazing. She held all the things I picked up until I was ready to try things on. I love all the styles of clothing here, totally different from other shops I’ve been to. If you’re looking for something stylish and different, this is the store to go to!

I live in New York and discovered this store online a few months ago. I have already ordered from them on 3 separate occasions. I LOVE their clothes. The style is a little off beat (which is a very good thing) and not something you would find in a large department store. But, they have something for everyone, large or small, young and old. I have gotten so many compliments when I wear their clothes. On a separate issue, I did have an issue with something and the return policy couldn’t have been easier and the people I dealt with on the phone or through e-​mail couldn’t have been nicer & more helpful. If you can’t get to one of their stores, buy online; you will be very happy.

Gorgeous pieces at incredibly affordable prices. Most of their items are ethically made in the US. Goldie’s never uses animal testing and many items are sustainable. The company is pushing back against fast fashion, which has come to dominate the industry. I love this shop! Don’t miss it.

Distinctive yet very affordable (new) clothing — cut well, refreshingly feminine. From casual chic and cute, to no-​fuss elegant style. Contemporary items you can dress up or down, or toss on just as they are. And which are U.S. made! Also, eco-​friendly sundries and accessories, jewelry, and cheerful customer service. What more to ask for?
You feel beautiful in here. There’s a natural, authentic spirit to this shop. It’s in the selection of items, in its unpretentious charm, in its elegant simplicity. It brings out the natural beauty in a woman, whatever her age.
And, as others have said, drop by regularly. You’ll never know what unique pieces or gifts you might find here. Not to mention outrageous steals on some lovely sale items — while they last!
Why on earth would you patronize over-​priced, sweat-​shop/​cookie-​cutter-​item chain-​stores in a big corporate shopping mall? When you could come here, and get an entire outfit and then some? Unique pieces, made and manufactured domestically and with ethics, for a serious fraction of the price?
Shops like this are one of the reasons for regularly visiting «Retro Row.» Even if you buy nothing, or just have lunch or dinner, it’s a lovely way to spend some quiet time browsing in the many eclectic, artsy shops. P. S. Another great inde boutique in Long Beach is «4th and Elm» (in/​near the Arts District of downtown Long Beach) — stylishly edgy, sexy, classy items. With new clothes and jewelry coming in all the time. Run by a terrific gal, Lori Scott, who really knows her stuff. Her selections are feminine, soft and bold — just great taste all around. These are my two favorite boutiques in LB, bar none. Treat yourself to both. These two shops respect the woman who wears the clothing — the woman being the intangible element who makes the wonderful clothes express her own distinct, true spirit. It’s a joy to visit these shops, because they’re run by women who respect a woman’s authenticity. And that’s beautiful.

I have been searching for a store like this for I don’t know how long. The clothing is sustainable, really cute, made in the United States, and get this… affordable!
Dream come true! I love unique clothing, but buying clothing that comes from sweatshops or hurts animals is something I can’t get on board with. And I also can’t afford to spend $ 100 on a t-​shirt.
I bought four beautiful pieces: two awesome dresses, a funky blouse, comfy pants and two sterling silver bracelets for under $ 150! What?!

My belt that I bought here was not very good quality. The outside layer started coming apart from the inside layer which was strange. It happened within a few wears. Unfortunately, the quality means I will be wary of buying more things from here.

Very cute store. Considering it’s a boutique in a trendy/​artsy neighborhood the prices are very reasonable.
Jewelry is around $ 12 – 20 ish depending on the piece and it was ALL stuff I would happily wear. Clothing is in the $ 20 – 60 range. Only one person was working and she was clearly being pulled in a few different directions but was helpful and sweet nonetheless.
I’ll be back for sure when shopping for gifts or when I have some extra spending cash laying around!
