The Long Beach law office of Garcia, Artigliere & Medby provides legal representation in elder abuse cases. California has one of the largest senior citizen populations in the country, and even though the state government has made tremendous efforts to prevent elder abuse and neglect, it is still a prevalent issue. Our firm fights against elder abuse and nursing home abuse because our elders deserve to be treated with love and respect. Therefore, we are committed to protecting our senior citizen population.

Founder Stephen M. Garcia has been a supporter of California’s senior population for two decades and has won landmark multi-​million dollar cases. Stephen M. Garcia is one of the leading civil litigators in the country in elder and nursing home abuse. Since 1994, he has served as counsel in litigated matters leading to more than one billion dollars in awards to disenfranchised consumers in cases involving elder abuse, nursing home neglect and product liability.

Mr. Garcia founded The Law Offices of Stephen M. Garcia in 1987. In 2001, his firm was purchased by the nationally recognized elder abuse litigation boutique firm, Wilkes & McHugh. Mr. Garcia served as managing attorney for Wilkes & McHugh for the Western United States for two years prior to returning to his own firm in April 2003 under the name The Garcia Law Firm. The firm, now Garcia, Artigliere & Medby, grew rapidly, with cases being litigated across the country. As his nationwide practice grew, Mr. Garcia opened offices in Arizona, Washington, Florida and Kentucky.
