Flowers On 7th

Dropped in last night after passing this nifty little flower shop almost every day for the past 6 months. Was greeted by Matthew, who helped me pick out flowers for a few arrangements that I needed last minute. The selection was great, the flowers very fresh and Matthew, well… he’s the bomb. He made several suggestions for different flowers that would compliment the ones I had picked out. By the time I left, I had enough flowers for 3 arrangements, all for a fraction of what I would have paid at Vons or Ralph’s or other florists. Very impressed with this little shop and I’m looking forward to being a regular here. Thanks Matthew!

Decided to stop by this place after seieing all the 5 star reviews. Big mistake.
Stopped by on a saturday afternoon, first impression? The placed was almost empty with flowers. I walked in thinking maybe there was more inside. Nothing.
Ok, I thought no big deal, maybe it was too hot to have their flowers outside.
A very nice girl helped me out as I explained that I needed a bouquet for my wedding and read that they worked with succulents. She confirmed that the owner did a great job but since I needed them in less than a week she was not sure if they could do it.
She tried calling the owner and they didn’t answer, she took my number and assured me that someone would call me back that evening. I asked her if they had a website so I can see their work and she said the owner did not cared for social media.
Good for them if they can stay in business without social media, but with bad customer service? I’m surprised. I never heard from anyone, no one ever called me. I can understand that it was last minute, but someone could have called me back just to tell me it was not possible for them to do it.
I went to another small business on monday and was able to pick up my bouquet 4 days later and it was just what I wanted!

Best place to come and get flowers the owner is so awesome! I will come back! He custom made my flowers and they were absolutely beautiful!!!

I didn’t use Flowers On 7^th’s services because they didn’t have Hydrangeas in stock (they’re out of season at the moment and very few florists have them currently).
However, I’m writing this review because I was given the BEST customer service! Instead of talking me into a different set of flowers for my mother, he suggested a shop who did have what I was looking for! This is truly a florist that has your best interest in mind!!! :)

I usually love this place, but today I had a bad experience. I stopped by at 9:25 AM to get some flowers thinking that they would be open at 9:30 AM, but I was wrong. It says here on Unilocal that they open at 9:30 AM, but they were still closed. I gave them a chance and waited until 10 AM, but no one showed up so I just left.

Absolutely love flowers on 7^th. From the get go friendly. I bought my girlfriend flower. Owner asked me what kind of flowers she like, I said «Sunflowers». He smiled and said «follow me». He showed me the coolest Sunflowers known to man. They were red with hints of orange absolutely BEAUTIFUL! And I’m a dude! I don’t usually care but, my God they were cool. He finished up the bouquet with brown wrapping paper not that weird clear noisy wrap. It was stumning. Truly an art form. Also gave me an awsome deal. Great place, great people they win a 5 out of 5 in my book

My fiancé came here to get em flowers for our anniversary. They were put together so beautifully! Definitely my style as well. I’ll have to come in myself soon! Thank you for the beautiful piece.

Matthew was so nice and helpful, and made me a wonderful arrangement for our anniversary. They’ve got many cool, unique flowers and next time I’m going to try one of their jars of pickles!

Bought my fiancé some beautiful flowers here for her birthday. Matthew, the owner, is awesome — super friendly, and knows his stuff. Great flower selection. I’ll be a return customer for as long as I am in the Long Beach area.

This place is absolutely amazing. When you come to a flower store this is is exactly what you want your experience to be like. Beautiful flowers out front and a person working it who loves what he does. Mathew has a passion for what he does and you know it as soon as you see him picking from the assortment of colors. He was really knowledgeable of the flowers, especially when I asked him about where he got his flowers from. He hand picks them himself instead of having them all delivered to insure he is getting the best he can get. Thanks brother for helping me out. I Needed a beautiful arrangement myself for a dinner date with my girlfriend and he created something absolutely great. She loved them :)

I ordered flowers from here and omg it was well worth it. Matt came through with the best custom bouquet ever. I was glad they were able to accept payments over the phone. Ty Matt and your staff for everything (:

I liked the service, was asked what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. The girl made a great arrangement that my girlfriend loved.

This place used to be nice and have it together. I came in for Mother’s Day and wanted to spend ¹⁰⁰⁄₅ bouquets. They guy pulled out 4 raggedy flowers and said «is this good for one of them», I couldn’t believe he had the audacity to show me those 4 flowers for $ 20. I asked if he could do any better and he just said, you said you only wanted to spend $ 20 a bouquet. I couldn’t even wrap my head around it. Luckily I drove up the street next to daily perx on Ximeno and 7^th as if it were a godsend! This new flower shop gave me 6 bouquets for $ 50 and they were BEAUTIFUL! I couldn’t believe the difference. This shop needs to get their stuff together!

This is the cutest flower shop ever! Amazing staff. Their selection is gorgeous and eclectic. Their stand is original cute and super warm. You will not be disappointed.

This is my husband’s favorite place to go for flowers and my favorite to receive from. Always fresh, lasting long, creative, fun and beautiful bouquet.

Cute little spot on the side of the road on 7^th. I was able to run in and out and grab a nice bouquet for my mom’s birthday. Very friendly service.

The people at Flowers On 7^th are prompt, professional, and personable.
We recently placed a phone order the day before Mothers Day (probably their most or second most busiest holiday of the year) and they were gracious enough to fit us in for next day early morning delivery. They delivered on time and called to confirm with us. Wonderful service!
The flower bouquet was gorgeous and very reasonably priced. I gave them a general description of «colorful, big, and maybe some lilies» and hoped they would create something pretty. The flowers they ended up putting together couldn’t have been more perfect for my mom!

Leaving 5 stars here for service. My girlfriend was performing in a show and I wanted to send a bouquet of flowers on her first night. I was a little confused on the location, and I mistakenly sent Vincent to the wrong place. When he got there, he figured out what was going on and called to let me know that all was good and that he was heading to the correct place. Then he called again because he realized that her parents were in the shop earlier getting flowers for her. They, also, thought the theater was somewhere it wasn’t. He was just calling me to make sure that someone could get ahold of them. And before he called to tell me that they were potentially lost, he called the theater to ask someone there to let my gf know they might be lost. Now that’s above and beyond the call of duty.
And she loved the flowers.

Love this shop! Mia helped me out and met my budget but by far exceeded my expectations! She made a beautiful bouquet and wasn’t rushed so she was able to take her time ask my opinions and make good conversation!

Love at first sight. I drove by this little pop up shop when I first moved to Long Beach, and I will never go anywhere else. My boyfriend stops by every two weeks for my biweekly flowers and Matt is amazing! He makes the most gorgeous and unique bouquets with combos of everyday flowers and stuff I’ve never even seen before to make such beautiful subtle details. Today my boyfriend came home with a simple bouquet that I loved, and a special surprise of homemade «hot» garlic pickles that are absolutely amazing! Have to love a place where you can get beautiful flowers and fresh made goods from their very own farm. Such a great little shop with so many treats, one of my favorite Long Beach gems!
