I love love love this place! Steve and Brian both are so helpful. They are honest, up front, kind and informative. They’re also fast! Always get my repairs completed within the day. I have left my car in their care 4 times within the year and I always leave a happy driver with money still in my bank account! Fair prices for the quality of service. Eventhough I don’t live in Long Beach anymore, this will be my go to place for car service.

My car was having trouble so I brought it in a few months ago. I had been working on it for the past few days but not having a driveway, I finally had to give in and take it somewhere. I’m not the kind of person who just dumps off my car and walks off. I want to know whats wrong before I leave, if I can. They spent 45 minutes answering my various questions all while poking around figuring out what was wrong. They didn’t just brush me off and ask to talk to my boyfriend like normally happens when I take my car to get worked on. I was very pleased.

After calling multiple auto shops to get quotes for a full synthetic oil change, this shop had the best price (just under $ 50)! I was fortunate enough to take my car in on a slow day which resulted in a 20 minute oil change! Not to sure about their other devices but this shop is extremely well priced and they work quick! Definitely recommend.

Simply put, this is what you would want your local repair shop to be.
Fast, honest, reliable and most of all knowledgeable. I highly recommend these guys, even if they are a little bit of a drive.
Family run, these guys have been doing this for a long time. You take your car in, and most times they can tell whats wrong just listening. I love it when someone knows their trade well enough to be able to speak to the patient. They are upfront about what is wrong, what is needed, and what can wait. Just great guys.
I recommend them to my friends any chance I get.

Brian is experienced in Diagnostic Checks! Completely thorough.
I am the type to ask, «What does the Camshaft Sensor do? What is it’s purpose»?
Before leaving, he took the time to explain everything.

I’ve been getting my Honda serviced here for a few years now and don’t plan on going anywhere else in long beach. The guys are are great, don’t overcharge and give your car exactly what it needs. If you’re looking for a mechanic/​oil change, this is the place.

Steve is fantastic. Took my Jeep here after Christmas when my transmission died and he did a great job! Customer service is what youd expect from an auto repair shop and great follow up service too. Oil change and brakes are on my list and Steve is getting my business again!

Bryan is the best. He’s a stand-​up, honest guy and a hard worker. I have gone to many, maaaany mechanics and this has been my best experience by far. Bryan is incredibly detailed and his customer service is great. I really appreciate that he takes his time to explain the issue very thoroughly and even shows me. Very fair prices. I do take people’s reputations seriously, which is why I never leave bad reviews on a whim or impulsively.
With that said, I believed that Bryan was
honest at first, until the problem I was having with my car was brought to a head not much more than 2 weeks after he charged me hundreds of dollars
for a «new hose». The hose, as he told me was hard to find and had to be ordered– I believed him and didn’t mind paying more.
The real problem, which he completely failed to identify was a malfunctioning thermostat. Fine, he missed that. he shouldn’t have, but we’re human so I can let that go
(Nevermind that my engine overheated again and I was left on the side of the freeway)
What I can’t let slide is that the «new hose» he charged me for was non-​existent. He ordered no new part, instead he jimmy rigged the existing hose directly onto my coolant resevoir.
Her shortened my hose and and failed to identify the real problem at all. I get that mechanics have to mark their labor and parts up. But I felt truly taken advantage of this time…

Took the car here for a quickie tune up and oil change, with no appt they saw me right away. Solid work, quick service (appx 90 mins), reasonable rates, no up selling for services I didn’t need… Elite Auto is one of the great repair shops in the LBC.

This is our to go place for our cars! It’s family owned and everyone treats you great! Their prices are way good and their quality work is just great.
Highly recommend them!

These guys rock. Great service and prices. I’ve taken my Honda here for some service work and always leave knowing I got the best deal and top notch work.
They do oil and filter changes for cheap and they’ll even throw in a tire rotation (if requested) for free. Honest and certified mechanics, what more can you ask for?

As someone who doesn’t know too much about cars, I always feel like I’m being taken advantage of when I need to get repairs done to my car. This is not the case with Elite! Bryan and Steve are wonderful and I feel like I can completely trust them. They are honest, fast and will not suggest repairs that don’t necessarily need to be done. I’m so thankful that I found them!!!

Elite did step up and clean engine-​and had to put in additional oil for what was everywhere…
I am still not going to take my car back-​even though it is close to home…

I went in to get my brakes fixed. Bryan took care of it right away and for a good price!

Excellent service! Went for a smog on my 98 Toyota 4Runner that was having trouble passing smog. Went to elite after replacing my catalytic converter and O2 sensor. Steve was very nice and helpful and within an hour I had passed smog! I had tried the place by the V Room but they had asked me to «drive around for another 20 miles» before I came to get smogged. I was not pleased so I drove down the street to Elite and they helped me out. $ 50. One hour. Totally worth it. Steve rules!

Been going here for over 3yrs and they always take care of the problem. Now days it’s hard to find a good mechanic that’s Trustworthy and Honest but after my first experience here, now I trust someone with my car. Even steamed clean my engine for free after a tune-​up. I can go on and on about how great they are but you have to experience it yourself to even believe this review. Thanks Brian and Steve for always taking care of my Car. You guys are awesome.

Brought in my daughters Suzuki Verona, not a car I would wish upon anyone…
They were friendly, diagnosed it, had it fixed the next day, and all for an unbelievable price. I will use them again and again, they are now my goto Long Beach mechanics!

These guys have kept my truck up and running. Family run, honest and fair priced. Every time I have a mechanical issue they diagnose it right away and actually physically show me what is wrong under the hood or under the car so I can see with my own eyes. I know they have saved me $ 1000’s on unnecessary work and are honest about doing only what needs to be done to keep my jalopy roadworthy. 260,000 miles and counting thanks to these guys…
