I just closed the escrow on the house staged by Marie and Angelica. Wonderful experience from start to finish. It took them about 2 days from my first call to complete the staging. My photographer, who works with a lot of staged houses was very impressed with the speed and quality of their service too. From the moment I published the listing with wonderful pictures, it took about 24 hours to get the first of many offers above the asking price. Angelica dealt with me throughout the process and was great from the start. I was able to get all the info I needed over the phone and an estimate was sent over my way. Once I agreed to the estimate, we were able to set up a date to stage my home that I had recently flipped. The house looked great and ended up selling within the week. I can’t express how great of a job Angelica and her crew did. I’m extremely pleased with her work and hope to use her again in the future. As a side note, I didn’t ever meet anyone face to face. We did all corresponding via email, text, and phone call. Great job!

Angelica helped me get moving on some window coverings for my living room and dining room. I really appreciated her patience and her guidance in picking out the right textures for my space. She has a clear eye for what works, and she made suggestions I never even considered. Thank goodness I hired her! On installation day, she was there the whole time to make sure everything came out great. Finally, I had a limited budget, but she seemed more than happy to work within it.

I recently had a real estate listing in Huntington Beach for a studio condo, and in order to «stand out» from the competition, I wanted it professionally staged for my client. I felt it was especially necessary in order to help potential buyers envision how to utilize such a small space (about 550 sf). I contacted Marie and it was so easy after that. Not only did she stage the property, but she was involved in the interior design upgrades for new paint colors and granite style/​color that my client was planning to do. Marie worked with our schedule and transformed this little studio condo into an inviting, relaxing home with a beach-​y flair! Even with two other units on the market with the exact same floor plan (and at a time when the market was slowing down), we ended up receiving multiple offers within just a few weeks. I have no doubt that we would’ve gotten lower offers had we not had the help of Marie’s staging expertise. I wanted to take a moment to thank Angelica for her superior work she just completed for my new office. I opened a new mortgage office on Balboa Island and I knew the look I wanted but had no actual idea how to execute it. Not to mention, I’m swamped with work and was on a tight budget and I can walk into a place and tell you I love the way it’s been done, but I can never actually do it myself. So I punched in «interior designer» on Unilocal and her and her 7 five star reviews came up. I viewed the pictures and her work looked solid and since I was on a time crunch, I decided if she seemed to have a few right ideas, I’d turn her loose and not shop around for anyone else. So she came the next day, met me at the space in the morning, I shared with her that I had just come back from New York and I like that rustic modern/​industrial look and showed her a few pics off my phone of some «example furniture.» That was it. I had her deal with the painter and contractor and left her alone for two weeks with a strict budget and high expectations. Now understand, even though there are some things in life I can’t do, I still can’t help but micromanage and obsess how these things will turn out. So I met her on moving day and about ¹⁄₃ of the way into bringing everything in, it didn’t look exactly how I was envisioning, and I got freaked out. She told me, «Tim-​please relax and come back when it’s all done.» Shit-​I thought… what if I hate this when its all done? So I left, came back 3 hours later and when I walked in and saw the total transformation I was very impressed. Now, I had given her free reign so I think it’s important to understand in doing so you have to be open minded. Because when I said I was very impressed, I wasn’t «over the moon» impressed because it wasn’t exactly how I pictured it, but how can it be if you give someone free reign with very little to go off of and a tight budget to boot? But a funny thing happened. Over the course of the next few days, and having my employees come in and add their personal touches and me switching a couple of tiny things around to match my unparalleled OCD levels, I’m going tell you I’m over the moon impressed by what she did. I’ve already had a few clients and co-​workers and next door neighbors walk by and they have been blown away. And now that’s it’s been a week I feel blown away as well, especially with the budget I had her on. So Angelica-​thank you sincerely for all you did and if your wondering still if I LOVE it and not just «like» it, your answer is Yes I «LOVE» it :)

A few days before our house was to go on the market, it really hit me that I was short on living room staging furniture and the bedrooms furniture was just not working with the style and layout. I called several companies and many of them were not even able to come see our place for a couple of weeks. Angelica called back right away and came over to the house the same day.
I loved that she was willing to use some of our existing furniture and overcame some dated drapery swags that we could not take down, due to missing moldings underneath. She was accommodating to some of my ideas of what I wanted to see. She was super sweet and I really clicked with her at that first meeting.
Her partner, Marie was not as enthusiastic about some of the integration of my furniture and ideas, but I decided that I needed to give up a little bit of control and trust them, as they were the professionals. Our time was so limited — I really didn’t have a choice.
So I was really pleasantly surprised when I walked in the day before we were to list to such a lovely presentation. They had incorporated all my furniture and accessories just in different places than I would have put them. And it was really fantastic. With such limited time they had pulled off a great staging. We got many compliments on the furnishings.
We were working with a 1929 home and they incorporated both modern and traditional furnishings to appeal to as many people as possible. They were flexible and prompt. The prices were workable and payment options flexible. I will absolutely call them again!

I decided to stage my house about a week before the listing date. After a few calls to different companies, I got a call back from Angelica. Immediately, we connected and put a plan in place. Everything was so easy. I emailed the pictures to Marie that showed the challenging layout of the house, and we followed up by briefly discussing a color scheme. They arrived on a Friday and were finished by Saturday afternoon. My photographer came on Monday and the house was on the market the next day.
Marie and Angelica did an awesome job. The end result really reflected their style – detailed and elegant. What I really respected was how they understand today’s buyers, and what features in a home will sell that property. When Marie first did a walk through, she asked me to replace a «dated» chandelier. At first I was a little surprised she was so forthright, but I trusted her and was glad I did. The replacement chandelier ended up as the focus piece in the great room and looked fabulous. The best part of this entire experience was that the house had so many views online because of how beautiful it looked, which then resulted in a very successful open house. So successful that we ended up getting an offer, only 10 days after the listing date!
My purpose for hiring a staging company was met. However, the experience of working with Marie and Angelica has been truly rewarding. Now, I’m looking for other ways to use their service again.

Angelica is truly an angel. She is professional and definitely gifted! We hired her and Marie and these two are a great team. They helped us everything from the colors on the walls, rugs the window treatments. bedding lighting. The drapes in our living room is gorgeous. They tied in colors and décor! They made our home feel so warm and inviting. And the master bedroom feels and looks like a retreat!

We have an odd shaped living room. No matter what we do, we can’t seem to find a fit that is practical and doesn’t look ridiculous. I finally gave in and decided to have an interior designer come and take a look. ED turns out to be very affordable. Angelica came out and spent one hour with me, moving furnitures around. It took her one try to find a good location for all our furnitures. I was sure that the only way to get everything to fit is to expand, but turned out I just need to put the stuff in diff locations. I am very impressed. Oh and I didn’t tell my husband I hired an interior designer. I was so sure he would get mad at me after he found out, but even he was impressed and he wants to have them back to help us out more for the rest of the house! I will sure give them a call again!

I was never a fan of hiring someone to tell me where to put my furniture, because that just seems weird/​unnecessary. Plus I worried about paying someone for ideas I may not like. But after hitting an ugly wall (figuratively) in setting up my home office, I decided I really needed help. One of my BFF’s recommended EDI (bc they did his house in OC – and I liked what I saw), so figured I’d give it a try.
The transformation took less time than I anticipated (in fact, Angelica was able to shift things around immediately to start the process). I wasn’t required to go out and buy brand new expensive furniture to make my space look good, she simply worked with what I had right then and there. But, the best part of the experience (and total surprise to me), was how involved I was in the designing part. I was worried that someone would come in and move things where I may not have wanted them, but instead, Angelica kept asking me what my priorities were and made sure to only come up with ideas that would fit all my requirements. It was relieving.
I’m now a believer of hiring the pros when it comes to stuff I know nothing about (eg: designing, decorating, landscaping, plumbing, etc.). And especially when it comes to where you live, this is more a necessity than a luxury. After getting my home office done, my «pride of ownership» went up exponentially, and it just feels REALLY good to be home. It’s worth it.
They’re definitely coming back to work on the other spaces.

I am a picky, opinionated, and sometimes difficult consumer. I do not make choices without extensive searching and consideration. So when it came time for new curtains for our kitchen I scoured the Internet for all possible options. The problem was the odd size of my windows. Also I needed something that would coordinate with the forty year old tangerine colored Linoleum. A friend at one of our dinner parties saw our challenge and recommended Angelica from EDI. I conceded to my wife’s wishes and we had Angelica over to measure and assess. A few days later Angelica came back over with her fabric recommendations. Within 3 minutes we nailed it! I had been arguing with my wife and fruitlessly searching for a mutually agreeable solution for over a month and Angelica nailed it within 3 minutes! In the end it cost the same as the the Pottery Barn curtains which my wife had been pushing for but I hated. Angelica came back out and hung them and bound them for just the right ripple and they are perfect. Now the wife is happy and I can once again sip my coffee shirtless without her scorn. Call EDI!

EDI (Angelica and Marie) did a fantastic job on my home and office. I had very limited budgets for both, and they came through with creative, inexpensive ideas that turned out beautifully.
Home: I live in a condo and just wanted a few touches here and there (artwork, window treatments – no big furniture purchases). They really took the time to listen to what I wanted, made sure they had a good sense of my taste/​likes, and didn’t try to steer me in a different direction. To save me from having to buy a few things, they moved some of my existing pieces around to better spots and it made a big difference. They just have that «eye» that most of us don’t have. After they were done, they left me with helpful «how to» tips for some things I mentioned that I wanted to do on my own in the future (such as work on the bathroom). All in all, wonderful job, and my husband was very pleased with their work too.
Office: My husband and I just opened a law office, and we wanted a look that was certainly professional, but warm. Once again, EDI came up with those special touches, like artwork, plants, etc., and helped with the selection of office furniture. Clients often comment on how peaceful and warm the office feels – the opposite of what most people get in a law office.
