Literally, the best liquor store ever! The employees there are helpful, friendly and super cool. They have great prices on liquor and in general.

Eddie’s is right around the corner from me and very convenient. Everyone working there is really friendly and they have a great selection of beer, wine and groceries – liquor too. They always seem to have whatever it is I need when I’m there. They sell lottery tickets too!

Dishonest cashier! Description: young light skinned asian guy wearing a baseball hat. Won $ 11 from Powerball, gave the cashier $ 21 to add on the winning ticket and only received 11 sets of number instead of 16. I tried calling the place an hour later but all he can say is that he doesn’t remember anything or have a record of my winning ticket. You guys can keep the $ 11 but I will never step my foot in here again! Lottery buyers beware check your tickets. Note: maybe this place only hire cashier that failed basic math addition or ripping off honest people.

Save your money. Decided to stop by to buy a 2 liter of coke just to show a local Cal Heights business some love. I typically go to California Heights for short stops for beer, sofa ect. What a mistake this was. I only had a credit card and the dude asks for cash and said it’s $ 0.95 to use a credit card. I said that’s all I had so he swiped it and tried to make me enter a pin number without asking credit or debit. Being tired I didn’t wanna make another stop for a 2 liter of coke. All good. This will be my last time spending a penny at this crappy spot. $ 3.45 for one 2 liter of coke. Ridiculous!

I have to admit, this is got to be one of the best liquor stores in my neighborhood. I have a few around here but they are not as well stocked as well as having the best and most helpful staff in the neighborhood. They keep a well cleaned store and essentials that are needed when you don’t want to go to the big grocery stores. Why wait in line there when you can go grab what you need as well as a beer and a lotto ticket and you are out the door and not waiting in line for 40 minutes. It might be a little more expensive but the time you save makes up for it.

Count your money, just got ripped off for 20.00 inadvertently. Played the LOTTERY gave the clerk 33.00 by accident, swore I gave him a ten and three ones. Overpriced items and phony smiley faces while you are getting ripped off. Only if you have too.

RIPPEDOFFFOR $ 10.00BYTHETALLDARKHAIRDYOUNGCASHIER. Was working in the area on 03−22−13 and stopped by for lottery tickets, I gave the cashier a $ 20.00 bill and asked for a California Combo. The cashier said I gave him a $ 10.00 bill — I AMPOSITIVEITWAS A $ 20 bill and he refused to give me my $ 10.00 back. I asked for the manager on duty and showed her the lottery tickets $ 5.00 Super Lotto & $ 5.00 Mega Million &SHE said«we have cameras here that watch everthing» but still refused to refund me my $ 10.00 and refused to think the male cashier could make a mistake. On the way out the front door a customer said«you’ll never see your money that’s the way this place is.» I guess with the reviews already written and the bullet proof glass Eddie’s Liquor is a place to stop if you want to get robbed, I WILLNOTGOTHEREAGAINEVER!

Best Liquor store in the area… I would always visit other local liquor stores closer to my home, until I came across this one. Their selection is great, they have the best old school snacks and candies to go with your liquor selections. Staff is nice. I will def be back.

I’ve always wanted to like this place more. It’s close by and the staff is friendly, but it looks forgotten and unkempt. Ugly, peeling, drab paint and the front hasn’t been cleaned for years; it’s so grimy I just can’t feel good stopping in any more. The beautiful mural community project on the wall of the building next door is the only aesthetic thing Eddie’s has going for it. What is it about Eddie’s as a company that its stores look like they belong in a back alley? Cheerful staff, but it’s a no go for me, I’m afraid.

Lots of random stuff piled in the store. Fully enclosed counter with bulletproof glass. SUPER friendly cashier lady and her lil daughter.

I don’t know how you would review a Liquor store but that’s what Unilocal is for har har! I used to love walking down here from my house when I was a kid just to by Red Vines(which the owner sold for 10 cents a piece) and Flamin hot cheetos *sigh, the good ol’ childhood days!’
