Ecogreen Mortgage is a family business built around excellent service and sustainability. We treat our clients as if we were doing a loan for our own family and also plant trees to help offset the mounds of paperwork required for a home loan in today’s system.

Business Owner

James Evans has worked in real estate for over 30 years. He started as an appraiser, trained by his Father, who after serving in WWII became an appraiser. James later went into lender and started a business for himself and sold it to Country Wide when he saw the market getting out of hand in 2004. After retiring for about 6 years James came back to Long Beach and started a new business with his son, Adam Evans. Adam is the third generation in real estate and is a Long Beach Local. Adam grew up in Long Beach and even graduated from CSULB. Adam focuses on serving his community as a Real Estate Broker and takes pride in meeting new people and helping people finance a place to call home.

It was a very positive, pleasant experience working with Adam Evans at Ecogreen Mortgage. Adam is very hard working, honest and constantly kept me updated throughout the entire loan process. I had found EcoGreen mortgage through Unilocal thanks to of these wonderful reviews! I had the great pleasure working with Adam Evans on securing a conventional home loan for my first home purchase. Not only did he get me the best rates when other mortgage lenders were quoting me significantly higher, but Adam will walk you through every step of the way. Adam really went above and beyond and out of his way with anything/​everything from pre-​approval letters on a whim (on his day off during the weekends), to expediting any paperwork me or my agent needed, and patiently answered all of my incessant questions. He even went out of his way to dispute some escrow charges on my behalf!
Adam is a really great stand up guy and honest professional in his market. Because of how thorough he was, it really helped make my first home buying experience a lot less anxious than I had expected. If you are looking for any home loan needs, Adam Evans is the best loan officer in the market.

I just recently refinanced my house with Lily Navarro. The whole process was very smooth and Lily was always available to respond to my texts and phone calls. She kept me informed throughout the whole process. She went WAY out of her way to help me out by driving a far distance to get the documents signed by the other party on my previous loan. Very helpful and plan to refinance with her in the near future. HIGHLY recommended!

I purchased a home in July 2013 and had the pleasure of working with Lily and it was a great experience. Being a first time homebuyer, I was completely clueless to the details of the whole process. Lily prepped me by providing realistic expectations. She was honest and never pressured me. She then walked me through the whole thing each step of the way. I had so many questions and it was nice that she never made me feel bad about asking and was always able to provide me with answers in a timely manner. She was so personable and friendly, which made it easy to work with her. I was shocked, and impressed, at how Lily went above and beyond for us. She informed us of programs that I could possibly qualify for (that i had no idea even existed!). As an added bonus, she even coached us on fast and easy ways to raise my credit score! It was obvious Lily was experienced and knowledgeable and amazing at what she does which was super comforting. Me and my fiancé were lucky to have found lily and definitely recommend her!!!

We re-​financed with Adam Evans back in December of 2011 and the experience was great. Not only did he get us a competitive rate on our current loan, but he also kept us informed of the process the entire time. Furthermore, he answered any questions we had promptly and informatively. After we re-​financed, when I emailed or called Adam several times with other mortgage related questions, he returned my correspondence and calls quickly and provided the information I sought.
