If you are not familiar with North Long Beach, then this might be an area you might be afraid to park your car in… well, considering you are from OC and driving through LBC. There was a lot of sidwalk and road construction going on, and even the neighboring building had vomit on the ground. Off-​putting, right? That’s outside, though.
Anyway, it’s mainly about the customer service and hair cutting. My husband got his head shaved and his facial hair shaped up. Looked very nice.
The bad thing was, some young kid walked in and was soliciting drugs. They handled it well, and told him to beat it and not to disrespect their shop like that. Even after the hair cut, EJ the barber who did my husband’s hair, shook my husband’s hand, hugged him, and even walked us outside and talked with us a little bit on the sidewalk… ya know, make you feel like a cousin they hadn’t seen in a long time.
Thanks for a good experience. Next time we’ll bring our son. :)
