Conroy’s Flowers

I went in last minute, asked for a 10 – 15 dollar bouquet, the sweet florist made a beautiful bouquet. The flowers were fresh and smelt great!!! Very happy!!! Thank you

I went into Conroy’s for the simple fact that the store offers 20% to AAA members but when I purchased the flowers the system would not acknowledge the discount. I asked, so I could satisfy my curiosity if they offered a discount to military personnel and was told yes, only to the active military. AAA receives a greater discount than active military. I will take my business, AAA discount, and veteran status elsewhere.
I was told that the owner may be able to fix the system that did not honor the AAA discount, but that action would not happen for a few days. I went into the store BECAUSE of the discount and still could not get it.

got flowers (short-​stemmed roses in a little mini vase) here previously and they dropped over and were almost dead the next day. Conroy’s refunded the price of the flowers – very kind, but I wish I just got flowers that stayed alive. With the credit from Conroy’s, I decided to order flowers (long-​stemmed roses) from them again. they came on Saturday, and by Monday, they were already starting to bend downwards. Overall, I don’t think I will go to them again, despite the very kind people who work there.

Thank you Claudia for going the extra mile for my order ~ it’s good to know good customer service does still exist in the world & I’ll think of Conroy’s in the future for my next flower order.

I help my partner with his wedding business and he specializes in wedding décor. So I’m fairly experienced in flowers and whatnot. But anyways, I bought flowers there last week because I needed something quick before I dropped by my dad’s grave. The selection of flowers for daily arrangements was ok. Very typical, common flowers you could find anywhere.
I noticed the flowers were wilting a bit and looked like they had been bought the previous week… not all the flowers, just the stock and the daisies that I ended up buying. I bought a couples of irises as well and they looked fine. I worked with flowers enough to know how they look when you bring them back from the flower market and how they look a week later… and the flowers I bought look just like that… a week old.
But apart from that, the staff member that assisted me was very helpful. She came up to me right away to make sure I was ok which I greatly appreciated. I didn’t catch her name but she looks as though she was mixed with asian and white. Very very nice and professional. The other Korean girl in the background however did not look professional at all. She was on the phone chatting with someone on her cell phone. I’m big on customer service since I’ve worked in the service industry before and just something about being on your personal phone and yapping away in front of customers is not cool to me. And doing it in a foreign language (Korean) does not help either.

I must give a shout out. Claudia was so incredibly helpful and professional. We use this establishment often. They take care of any issues immediately and with courteousness and a smile. SO IMPRESSED.

Awesome service! Wanted a custom made corsage and they went above and beyond. Definitely exceeded my expectations!

So I recently came back and I must say I was vey satisfied. I had to write an update because the quality of customer service was excellent. Eun and Claudia are great helped me pick out the right arrangement to get tat surprise factor.

I ordered 2 dozen roses for Valentine’s a week in advance of the 14^th. Because of my fiancée’s location, I was told that the order would be delivered by their sister location in Torrance. I was also told by the owner that the delivery would be made before noon on the 14^th.
Noon passes and still no flowers. I call the Long Beach location and the owner is ‘on the phone’. I call the Torrance location and they refer me back to the originating site since the flowers and order was taken there. I call again and the owner is ‘with a customer’. I call again and the owner had ‘just left’. I had also left my phone number and described the situation so as to get a call back. As of now, I have yet to hear from the owner.
Fortunately, my fiancée eventually got her flowers… a DAY LATER! Still no word from the Long Beach owner. It turns out he transcribed the delivery information incorrectly which could explain the runaround the flowers got yesterday… not much different than the one I got.
Employees are nice enough when you order. That’s pretty much the extent of the good business practice once the order is made. This REGULAR customer is no longer returning to this location.

Today is my mom’s birthday and I thought it would be great to get her a bouquet of all her favorite flowers. Conroy’s was the first place I went to and I’m so glad I did. I walked right up to woman standing behind the counter (I didn’t catch her name, but she was cute hehe) and told her what I wanted. She was very friendly and showed me all the fresh flowers they had stored. I told her which flowers I wanted and she worked her magic and put together a beautiful bouquet in less than 15 minutes! They also had a good selection of cards and other gifts. Not to mention, if you check it on Unilocal you get $ 11 off any arrangement! Great store, great staff, and great gifts for your loved ones! 5 stars!

Really nice staff beautiful arrangements!

I was here on Friday evening, though I wish I wasn’t.
I was on my way to a viewing and funeral for a woman who was like a mother to me. From the day I met her, she treated me like family. She always told me how much she loved me and that I was her second daughter. The heartbreak I have been experiencing since her death is indescribable.
I wanted to bring flowers to her — she always loved flowers — but I don’t like funeral arrangements. They look like death and sadness to me, and I just can’t bring myself to buy them. I explained to the owner, Sang Lee, what I wanted: not a good-​bye, but a valentine.
I started out by selecting a vase and asking for an arrangment created around white roses. Sang helped guide me to the right flowers to make a stunning bouquet of white and yellow that included alstroemeria, gladioli, lilies, and lisianthus. At the last minute, and after I’d already paid, he added some beautiful white orchids — one of my favorite flowers — as a final touch.
He made the arrangement quickly, but with care, and constantly consulted with me to be sure it was what I wanted. It turned out exactly as I imagined. As I left, I couldn’t stop the tears from falling down my cheeks. I know she would have loved those flowers.
