Blessed Dog

Drew is amazing! My dog bit my son on the face (didn’t puncture the skin) and we were so distraught that we needed help ASAP. I texted Drew after reading about him on Unilocal and he came to a our house that same day. He is teaching the whole family to follow the clues our dog is giving us and he resorted our faith in our dog that we love so much. He is coming back this week to help us learn to walk her properly and we are all so happy with the changes we already see in her. I would recommend Drew to anyone who wants training, advice or needs help with their dog.

So I haven’t had my first training session with Drew yet. But anyone that offers free training just so you don’t surrender your pet gets 5 stars automatically in my book. I emailed Blessed Dog asking about the free group sessions and Drew replied right away and even offered to meet me at the parking lot just so I didn’t get lost. That alone lets me know that he cares. Thanks, Drew!

Just had our first training session. It went so well. Our dog is already behaving better based on the knowledge we gained. It’s truly amazing what a difference one training session has already made.

I highly recommend Blessed Dog Training. Drew is amazing! The cute little puppy we brought home for a Christmas present was quickly turning into a nightmare experience. I was not sure we were going to be able to keep him.
Drew came to our house, got to know Owen and gave us the tools we needed in order to not only handle our little guy but enjoy him. Drew was patient, kind, knowledgeable and just fabulous. He was wonderful with us as puppy owners as well as with our dog.

Honest, Drew is amazing! I adopted an abused Boxer that’s about 7 years old a few month ago. Recently, we’ve noticed he’s been getting very aggressive towards strangers (family members and visitors he’s not familiar with) and he would attack anyone who came to the house. For weeks I tried everything and anything to try and get him to stop but I wasn’t having any luck.
Because of my dogs past, I am afraid (don’t have the heart) to scold him or punish him. I found Drew on Livingsocial and he came over. At first, my dog was very aggressive towards him but after the first training session my dogs attitude s hanged completely. Because of Drew, I am now able to walk my dog and have a few people come over!
My dog has a second training session in 1 week. Hopefully by then, my dog will be completely obedient. I am overly satisfied and grateful for Drew! He’s been able to show not only my dog how to behave but he’s taught me how to be a better owner of my dog, Rocky.

We had our first training session for our two dogs about 3 weeks ago, and the tips we were given have made a huge impact on one dog. The other still has some work to do, but he’s learning as we go. We still have two more in home sessions, and we look forward to seeing Drew again. So far, we are very happy with his methods of training and his explanations about why our dogs are behaving how they are. Putting his methods into practice while teaching us how to do them have been very helpful in understanding the full picture.

Our first training session with Blessed Dog exceeded our expectations on every level. Drew and his assistant Danielle were a force to be reckoned with. Our dogs, Molly Pearl and Harlo Mae, two dachshunds, fell in love with them shortly after they started to work their magic.
Drew, the owner and tour de force, presents the challenge of training with a spiritual and gentle philosophy, emphasizing the role of leadership, patience, positive rewards, play, and acknowledgement by praise and treats to achieve a successful training experience. He believes that the walk holds the key to achieving successful outcomes. While training, he suggests that the training really blossoms while taking two short walks. He also emphasizes that too much repetition at once is counterproductive. As humans, we only like to be told once, dogs many need a few repetitions, but no need to overdo it.
Our two hour session was miraculous. While Danielle took notes, Drew interacted with our dogs both together and separately, and led us step-​by step addressing the issues we wanted help with. Both my husband and I learned quickly from Drew’s modeling and our dogs responded positively in a very short time. We walked each dog separately, first he modeled, then we took the reins. We were amazed at how much better our dogs responded when we employed Drew’s philosophy.
The true test was this morning’s walk. Both Molly Pearl and Harlo Mae were much calmer, very responsive and we were successful.

I have an 8 month old Pit Bull and brought her to Drew for training. In the short time we’ve been going, I can see a noticeable difference. I use to think my puppy was mentally challenged, but now I know there’s hope for her and her puppy ways :)

Drew is AMAZING! My rescue dog Copper was suffering from extreme separation anxiety when I found his training ad online. I was desperate for help as I was getting kicked out of my apartment because Copper howled when alone and he even tried to hurt himself by jumping out of a second story window in order to be w/​people! I had tried everything from herbal remedies to bark collars and other trainers. NOTHING worked until I met Drew. The second Drew walked into my apartment I knew he was something special. I have a dog and two persian cats and they surrounded him, sat down and looked up at him. I exclaimed «who are you the Animal Whisperer???» I was floored and never saw my animals so obedient. Anyway, within a one hour training session with Drew, I saw improvements in Copper’s behavior and within a few sessions both Copper and I (yes.I was the problem too!) had learned the skills to lessen his anxiety. It’s now 5 years later and things are still going really well Call Drew for your training needs… you are NOT going to find anybody better!!!
