The restaurant is conveniently located and serves breakfast all day. Unfortunately the food is much too salty.

I came a few weeks ago with my girlfriend. We were searching for a place that both a vegetarian and a meatatarian could eat together… yeah, I totally just called myself a «meatatarian.» Never felt more ashamed. Anyway, after browsing the menu for a couple minutes, we found they had a garden burger for her and basically everything else for me. She settled on that and I on a burger combo, which came with the standard burger, fries and a drink. The food was okay, although I could’ve used a little more fries on the side. They just didn’t give enough food to satisfy my hunger. I think my gripe had to do with the lady behind the counter. My girlfriend had never been here before and the last time I came to this joint was a couple years prior with some college classmates, so naturally we took our time browsing through their menu, which is pretty expansive. After a minute or so, the lady started to get impatient with us, prompting me to order the first thing that came to mind. Meanwhile, my girlfriend’s still browsing for something she could eat without meat in it. She eventually settled on the garden burger and everything seemed to be good, but the lady just gave us an attitude. Maybe it was an off night for her.

Decided to stop in here after seeing some delicious photos on Unilocal. We were greeted by the two ladies who were running the burger joint, and may I just note how pretty the cashier was — I hope she was just working a shift in between modeling gigs… I digress. I ordered the California burger with avocado. You know how you order avocado sometimes at restaurants, and you get a tiny little wedge? That wasn’t the case here. There was plenty(!) of avocado for every bite of the burger, which tasted great. The staff was extremely sweet and seemed to genuinely care if we were alright, needed more water or a refill & if everything turned out well. Enjoyable burger and superb staff.

I really wanted to like the food as the owners were very nice and provided decent service but my burger patty was not real beef. The patty reminded me of those packaged frozen patties my mom used to buy at Walmart back in the day. They have a wide variety of other food on the menu so maybe I’ll try something else if I decide to go there again.

First time here. Ordered a Ortega burger after seeing a picture the advertised on the menu. The picture shows a burger with two types of cheese. Got the burger with no cheese at all. Asked the guy about it and he was just rude and short with me. Told them to take the pic down and they made excuses. Whatever not coming back. You can keep your cheese. I’ll keep my money.

Grabbed a breakfast burrito there this morning. It was a little awkward inside and they weren’t super friendly. Bacon breakfast burrito was pretty standard and was good sized.

Super nice staff chill and cheap. Like being able to be out on the street and eat my food.

Excellent burgers and great service! They make a mean veggie burger. Try it with the buns extra toasted, you can’t go wrong. With just the right amount of seasoning on their fries, the combos are always a good choice. Their Greek selections are highly recommended. Definitely a great lunch spot!

I ordered the breakfast burrito. I didnt like it. The service was good but the food quality was not equal. The food flavors were a bit off putting. The burrito was dry and flavorless. The cheese had an odd flavor that tasted similar to processed cheese product. Not pleasant at any time of the day. Heavy on the potatoes and light on the sausage. I heard tye place across the street is good, i will try it next time

Terrible food. Our family has tried different things here and the food tastes less than mediocre. The salads aren’t fresh, the sandwiches are dry and old, and the burgers are bland. I wonder how they get their good ratings? It tastes like I’m eating the food at an amusement park fast food burger stand, only worse.

Great local establishment, good food, solid portions, and that fact that you can call your order ahead for pickup= 4 stars

Got food poisoning when I went in and got a burger at 945pm. Guessing the cooks didn’t like me coming in late so they under cooked the meat. Whatever the case, I know it was their food that messed up my stomach. Won’t be going back, sad too, because I live so close.

One star for price, one star for excellent customer service, and one star for the location. The amount of food you get for the price of the food is truly unbeatable! You get what you pay for, and that is it… Nothing more and nothing less. The manager or owner, was a very friendly man and very helpful when it came to choosing what I wanted to eat(there is a huge selection, not just burgers) The location is on the corner and there is an actual parking lot in Long Beach with PLENTY of parking! Huge plus. As for the quality of the food: Meh. It is a burger, and this place is not for the picky gastropub eater. I came on my lunch break and needed something quick to eat. Which is exactly what I got. Can’t complain!

It’s a hole in the wall establishment, but the employees were really polite. I truly think customer service is just as important as good food so for that reason I give it 4 stars. The food is pretty good too. I ordered a simple bean and cheese burrito. It was $ 3.00 and huge! The cook fried the tortilla a little on the outside so it had a good crunch, which was different but good. My boyfriend ordered a California burger and it looked really good. It came with 4 different types of cheese on sourdough, YUM! I’d go here again if I was in the area.

Nice service. Average food, I had the breakfast burrito. It was all cooked fresh, but can’t say it was the best I’ve ever had.

The food was OK and a little bit overpriced for a cafeteria like food. I would give it a 2/5, but the service is ridiculous. My friend and I went here and expected to get a descent meal. We’re looking at the menu and the cashier tried to rush us to order lol. I ordered a gyro combo and a hot dog with a horchata drink for to go. The cashier overcharged me and her co-worker tries to argue with me saying that I need to be specific. The cashier thought that I ordered a hot dog combo, but clearly I just ordered a hot dog. I understand that its a long day for them and not to worry about it too much, but our order took awhile and has been 20 mins for one order. My friend and I are just the only costumers for that night; I don’t know why it took so long. So yeah I will definitely not come back for an ordinary fast food with bad costumer service.

I had really high hopes of this place and am a little disappointed. I got a California burger, and the lady got a Belmont burger. Both burgers were good, but nothing special like you’d expect from a place called Belmont Burgers. We also ordered the chili cheese fries– big mistake. The chili cheese fries did not look like chili I’ve seen before. They were dry and just looked liked clumps of ground beef. For chili cheese fries, it’s hard to beat you know where on ximeno and Anaheim. Also, the chili cheese fries cost almost $ 5, more than each of our burgers! There was also a big ladder in the middle of the small«dining room» with no signs of work being done. Not sure why it was there. This is one of those places that just has everything imaginable on the menu. In my opinion, they need to totally start over. The place is called Belmont Burgers, a great and catchy name. Focus on your burgers, get rid of some of the Mexican and Greek food. Purchase good quality thick and juicy patties and make a burger people would come back for. Maybe it was just an off day for them??? There were only 2 ladies working, it was dumping rain and we were the only people in there. Regardless, I don’t think we’ll be back We definitely will not be back.

The burgers here are garbage. Here’s what to expect; 60% bun, 30% lettuce and tomatoes and 10% meat patty. The meat patties are tiny and flavorless. The Costco brand burger patties are 150% better. Don’t waste your time with a combo meal. All you get a small order of soggy fries and a soda. I haven’t tried the other food here, but if their«Belmont Burger» is this bad, then I wouldn’t expect much from the rest of the menu.

Their menu takes the kitchen sink approach: a little of this, a little of that. Breakfast, Burgers, Greek, Mexican. Chances are you will find something to eat on the menu. I tested the waters with the basics: a cheeseburger combo. The usual accoutrements: lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, pickles, Thousand Island spread. The bun was a little too big and a little doughy. But the burger itself has nice seasoning(is that cumin I detect?) The fries are thick plankers, which alternated between crispy and mushy. The portion is pretty big, but I got bored of em after eating a few. Bonus points for having Juicy Whip(the Other Orange Bang). Overall, nothing wrong with this place, it solidly earns an A-OK rating. If you’re hungry, they’ll take care of you. Maybe their other stuff is better, but if you’re looking for an outstanding burger, there’s better options in the area.
