Accelerate Computer Training provides Adobe-​authorized, FileMaker-​authorized & Microsoft Office hands-​on training in 3-​hour to 2-​day small-​group instructor-​led classes onsite, online or at our training center. Get quickly up-​to-​speed on Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Lightroom, FileMaker Pro, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Our public training center is in beautiful downtown Long Beach, California, blocks from the ocean and Queen Mary and nestled among fine restaurants and hotels. We also train and consult onsite.

Classes are small, no more than nine students, so you get lots of trainer attention and helpful interaction with classmates. Learn on a Mac or PC from experienced instructors who know their software and clearly and patiently make difficult concepts understandable and applicable.

You receive a detailed course manual to take notes in and keep. Afterwards, you get 30 days of free phone or email follow-​up support and free retakes for up to six months.

History

Established in 2001.

Accelerate Computer Training was started in 2001 by Tim Jones. After 18 years of teaching computer classes as an independent contract trainer, Tim set up his own shop doing it the way he found had worked best in his many years as a trainer, and he brought along the best of the trainers he had met along the way.
