Waterway Carwash

Paid $ 20 to have full service and rims were dirty and inside never touched! The first initial service person was helpful and explained the process! Cashier lady was nice!

First time here got the 33 dollar wash. It was pretty thorough for the temperature outside. I will try it again!

Worst expensive car wash ever! I had the «Whole Thing» and it was anything but. Seriously, I can get my car way more clean using the $ 3 self wash down the street. Not only was my car still dirty after the «wash» (smeared windows, floor mats still dirty, no vacuuming between seats etc, smears and spots everywhere… my car charger went missing after they cleaned it. I’m not 100% sure that someone working for them took it but it’s very strange that it’s missing considering it was there before I handed my car over to be washed. From now on, I’m washing my car myself. That way I’ll save $$$, not have things missing, and get the job done right.

I had a terrible experience a year ago. Today I figured I’d give them another shot. What a mistake.
I paid $ 35 for «The Whole Thing» ($ 33 plus $ 2 for my minivan being extra large). After waiting nearly an hour it was ready. The body and carpet seemed clean but dash was still dusty and the glass hadn’t been cleaned, unbelievable. The young order taker profusely apologized when I complained. He said the manager was on site and that they would clean it again. Another hour went by and he sauntered in to the waiting room and said «It’s been ready for a while.» They finally got it clean, after 2 hours shot from my day. I’ll never go back.

After specifically telling the check in guy my truck was really dirty especially with a fine dust from the desert on the inside, I expected at least decent service. Not even close. One of their people swiped once across the dash — you could see it in the remaining dust. Rest if the car was nearly as bad. If you want a decent, not great but minimally decent, wash, go elsewhere, I will be,

Should have read reviews first but it was convenient that day. Got a ticket with $ 16.00 circled. Looked at the receipt and see and additional $ 2.00. Told it was because my CR-​V is considered large, HA! Took a half hour with very few cars ahead of mine for the crawlers to get to my car. By then, the car was dry so they should have paid me for waiting. Saw another customer take a cloth and wipe his own car. Better places that are less expensive for quality work will continue to get my business.

Went in to get my car «detailed» and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had detailing my car. My car was fairly clean to begin with but I just wanted it, well, detailed. I paid $ 55 for a «whole thing» and a wax and unfortunately when I got in my car it didn’t look any cleaner than it did when I dropped it off. The center console was still filthy, which was the dirtiest part of my car, there was still spots on the doors, the dashboard, the radio, the back, everywhere. So I told the manager that it didn’t look like anyone had cleaned it. He had them redo it and unfortunately is was BARELY cleaner. At that point I had been there for over an hour so I left, when I got home I decided to do it myself (because I still wanted a clean car). I was amazed at how much dirt came off of it after just 10 minutes of cleaning it myself. I called to ask for a refund because I felt, and still feel, that I completely wasted $ 55 and the GM was useless. Apparently she is the one who approves the cleanliness of the cars and she felt that it was up to her standards, I guess I just didn’t realize this place had such low standards… I’m not the type of person who asks for a refund, ever. But I feel that they didn’t do anything for the amount of money I handed them. Like I said, the GM was useless and would not give me my money back. Instead, she offered me to come back and do it for a THIRD TIME! At this point I am not willing to spend any more time there for a «detailing» which doesn’t actually detail. Super disappointed, absolutely never going back and never recommending this place to anyone.

Reminded me of breaking bad when I walked in and the man spoke with an accent. No eye contact and very business/​dry in attitude. The greater outside couldn’t have been nicer BTW. We got the 2^nd from best was and spent $ 75 and got the same as elsewhere $ 22 wash. The didn’t wax the roof (Subaru). It was being parked in the shade when we walked up so we couldn’t see how much of it wasn’t «buffed» out. There are 2 nice fingerprints on the drivers seat saying that the «stuff» they use on pleather was really fresh. There was still some trash on the inside. Water streaks after the drive. The spider web was still on the outside. Should I say more? Piss poor work by kids that most likely haven’t been trained in quality just being fast. OH yea, you don’t wax a car in the direct sun!!!
I did see that someone posted that we should let them know our expectations up front. WHY? you dont have to anywhere else? Plus at $ 75 it better be perfect! BS to letting expectations be known. It better be perfect even for the cheapest wash! OK Mr. $ 300 dollar shirt wearer?
So we will go elsewhere and get a great job done the first time. Look at the reviews… somethings broken!!!

Worst car wash ever. They wash your windows with dirty rags, dry your car with dirty rags. Then you have to go around and point out all the mistakes they made and they half ass fix them. Stay away unless you like wasting money.

I’ve lived in HR since 2002 and have gone to this car wash a handful of times since it opened. And I can honestly say the quality is terrible EVERY time. I usually go to Suds 95% of the time in Lone Tree (which has much better reviews). But every couple years due to convenience close to home and traffic I’ll give this place another shot. Shame on me. Today I paid extra for my wheels… they didn’t even touch them. I still had mud and dirt on every door. I’m done and will never return, the price is high and quality horrible. For the same price take your business elsewhere.

Very poor service. Half the time there is no one there to figure out what type of wash you want, and when you finally get you car washed it takes anther 30 minutes for them to get around to drying it. Save your time and money, get your car washed anywhere else or do it yourself. Hard to believe, but doing it yourself actually saves you time.

I hardly ever write negative reviews but after various visits with the same outcome, they get one. If you want your car to look like sh*t, come to this car wash. These high school kids don’t care about their work. I had to have a girl hand wash the bugs off the front when they gave me back my car. I even got the wheel deal which you would think would have the wheels extra clean… nope! Still dirty! I’ve been here a few times to give them a chance but they continuously suck.
I saw another hand washing car wash off Arapahoe. I think I’m going to make the extra drive to try it out. There are adults working there.
Never again. Don’t waste your money.

I find that if you take the time to communicate with the staff and let them know what you expect, they will respond and give you what you want… I get really tired of reading all these comments from people who just complain all the time.
These guys do a really great job and look forward to seeing me and my car when I come in. I respect them and compliment them– it goes a long way.

This is the WORST car wash! I have never experienced a «great» service here. . South Denver just has such limited options otherwise I would never come back! The staff always misses something and I have to make them redo it! I believe that because this establishment employs high school kids and not more mature employees — you get a half a$$ed service.
I wish South Denver had a Finish Line car wash !!!

Tuesdays are Tops!

Same problem as the one in the DTC. Lazy employees and management. Zero pride. Read my review on the other Waterway for details.

My experience was a really good one. My car mainly needed to be waxed, but I got the «the Max» package to have the interior shampooed as well. The car came back looking great.

Folks who work there are very friendly and nice. The car seemed to have a thorough job done. I was told it’d take 1 ½ hours for Max detailing and that’s how long it took.

Within the shop, there’s one bench to sit on. Not sure about WiFi. No desk. There is coffee, sodapop, snacks, high end Papyrus brand greeting cards, Yankee Candle Shop car scents and a few things to buy.

I walked to the Starbucks within the nearby at King Soopers to sit while I waited for my car. It has a fireplace and power outlet but no free WiFi. You would have to go a mile or two further north to find another Starbucks with WiFi which means crossing C-​470, although there is a path.

I went at 8am on a Wednesday and there was no line ahead of me.

Car washes are hit and miss and after two visits to the Waterway location in Lone Tree I am somewhat disappointed in the quality of wash my vehicle receives there. The problem seems to be the young people working the line are in a huge hurry and don’t do a thorough job toweling off the vehicle once it exits the wash.
I was enthusiastically called to my vehicle by a nice young women who asked «do you see any areas that need touching up.» I pointed out several spots they missed and she quickly ran a rag over them. Unfortunately on my drive home I noticed several other places they had missed including a large smear on my windshield. After parking in my driveway I noticed my vehicle’s wheels were still really dirty which I had not seen until the vehicle moved and the wheels rotated.
The deluxe wash «Wheel Deal» that I paid $ 20.00 for was way too expensive by itself based on the quality of service I experienced. To make matters worse I later discovered that they had tacked on a $ 2.00 «XL Vehicle» fee at the cash register without telling me. Good news was Waterway didn’t damage anything, but I will have to keep searching for a better place to wash my car.

You can’t beat their basic $ 5 car wash. It does a great job, plus the staff still dries your car for you. I recommend the cheaper washes over their expensive ones.

So, it’s usually a little (or a lot) crowded on the weekends, not to mention, it’s very unclear where you’re supposed to drive your car and what the hell you’re supposed to do with it once you get in the line to someone who has never been there before. A bit pricey for the job that they do. I mean for a big group of kids I think it’s alright, because they are fast, but not thorough…
1. They didn’t even bother to pick up the trash on the floor of my car. Not like I had fast food everywhere but a plastic wrapper here, gum wrapper there… still there after I paid for my car wash. Not sure if that’s included in what I usually get, but either way, that’s a given if you’re wiping down the interior anyways or else they should have stations for you to do it yourself!
2. The guys driving the cars through the wash seem to be in it for the cars. It’s an affluent neighborhood and the cars really reflect that. But this is your job, don’t be revving my engine. Just drive my car through and leave it at that.
3. There are always water spots on my windows after a wash, no matter what. Not sure why, but it’s a bit hard to look at.
