The success of South Metro Obstetrics and Gynecology is the result of the hard work, dedication, and knowledge of our providers and staff. Dr. James Lingle founded South Metro OB/GYN in 1991. Since its inception, we have grown into a well respected practice within the medical community. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality and most technologically advanced medical care to our patients, while keeping the costs of health care affordable. The combined efforts of our providers and staff over the years have given South Metro Obstetrics and Gynecology a reputation for which we can all be proud. We are a team of skilled professionals, trained to special standards, who take pride in our work. And our pride shows in the job we do for our patients! Meet the Business Owner
James L.
Business Owner
Dr. James Lingle is a native of Colorado. He received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Colorado. He finished his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1981 at the University of California in San Diego. Following his residency he returned to Denver where he has been practicing in the south metro area since 1981.
Dr. Lingle has been board certified since 1983. During his career he has served as the head of the Obstetrics Division of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Swedish Medical Center for 6 years. He has also served as the Vice Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as the Chief of Staff at Sky Ridge Medical Center. He is currently a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Sky Ridge Medical Center. He has been recognized as one of the outstanding obstetricians in the Denver area and was recognized as one of the top doctors in the Medical Quality Measurement audit of over 3500 Colorado doctors.
