Rocky Mountain Autism Center, Inc. (RMAC) is a state-of-the-art facility for families and individuals affected by the complex issues surrounding autism spectrum disorders. We strive to help families who are concerned about their loved ones with ASD to understand and learn from each other, develop relationships, and improve their quality of life. «Making a Difference» is our mission.
History
Established in 2002.
Located in Lone Tree, Colorado, RMAC was founded by Dr. Patrick J. Rydell in 2002. Dr. Rydell has devoted more than 30 years of his life to developing and implementing autism programs, receiving a doctorate specifically for autism spectrum disorders in 1989. Government agencies, medical facilities, universities and families throughout the world request him for his training, workshops and program development.
As autism becomes a more prominent and well-known diagnosis, RMAC continues to lead in innovative interventions and therapy. Our programs are founded on a unique combination of the SCERTS Model and Learning Style Profile, both of which Dr. Rydell had a significant role in creating. We strive to help families who are concerned about their loved ones with ASD understand each other, learn how to communicate, and improve their quality of life.
