Linda and Shawn B.

Business Owner

Originally from North Dakota, Linda and Shawn Batterberry moved to Colorado in 1994. Shawn a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Linda a former accounts manager, had just left the corporate world after 12 years to stay home and raise their three children. Having not been able to find quality childcare for their children, the Batterberrys’ decided to open their own school. Thus, in 2000, Shawn and Linda opened the doors to the Primrose School of Lone Tree. The Primrose School of Lone Tree has won a variety of community and Primrose based awards over the last 12 years of business.åÊFive years ago the couple decided to open another school and in July of 2007 the Primrose School of Castle Rock opened it’s doors. Shawn and Linda have been married since 1983 and have three children. The Batterberry’s call Castle Rock home and have been very pleased to raise their children in a family oriented community.
