Just really my least favorite store. The staff isn’t friendly. They’re rude and unwilling to help customers. I went last weekend to pick up a site to store order. They couldn’t find it for 40 minutes. Then they forgot to tell me where to actually go and pick it up. Evidently they cannot just bring it to you in the store. Ultimately I just returned the item. I’ll shop elsewhere.

BEST customer service ever at a Pier 1, thanks to Katrina(manager on duty). I made a rather significant purchase online but there was an issue regarding my 10% off coupon, so the adjustment had to take place when the items were picked up at the store. Long story short, the discount got overlooked, so I had to call the store. Although it took some time to resolve, Katrina took care of the problem. She handled it in a professional manner and was extremely pleasant. It’s rare to witness great customer service from sales people who actually care enough to assist with a problem. Kudos and thanks to Katrina!

I love this store! I’m a pier 1 junkie to begin with, but it’s the employees at this store that make it great. They are warm, friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. A few employees know my name and make me feel like family. When I come into the store, I am welcomed with a warm hello, if not a hug. I can’t say enough good about this place!

Over the last couple of days I have been to the Pier 1 in Lone Tree near the mall. The first day I had a wonderful clerk helping me match a few items. As I checked out I noticed the manager behind the counter. She was snapping at clerks and in general a bit rude. I went back today to get a couple of additional accessories and the service was so inferior that I left my items and went to a different store that was not Pier 1. Found the same basic items and even had coupons so it did work to my advantage. I will probably not return to a Pier 1 store for a long time due to customer service that I witnessed. esp that of the manager.

So much for customer service. The ladies working were very rude and not helpful at all. They acted like we were just an inconvenience in their day of standing around chatting.

I feel like most Pier 1s are all the same. Lots of stuff piled high everywhere, and you kind of have to search around for what you’re looking for. This location is no different. I will say that every time I’ve shopped here the employees have been really friendly. It tends to be a busier location because it’s so close to the mall, so be carefuly if you go there at a prime time, the line at the checkout can get a little long.

First time there today and loved it. Spent a lot and got more than I would expect. The lady that helped me made it really easy. The store has a lot in it and I am not much of a shopper. After being greeted at the front door by a super nice lady who’s name I don’t know… I told her I was looking for barstools, she showed me what she had, we bought 4 then she helped with accent pillows and a floor vase. I spent $ 700 in 20 minutes… that is the way I like to shop… in and out… thank you for taking me to what was important to me then letting me go home to a glass of wine!

I’ve been into this store several times. As former Pier 1 employee, there are certain things I expect out of the staff and the storefront. Recently I was inconvenienced and disappointed with some pretty serious incompetence by the staff and management at this location. I walked in looking for two items, and the girl working the floor first of all, didn’t know what I was talking about when I told her the line name and the item I wanted. So she made me walk over to the display and I had to point out what it was I wanted. She walked away to get her little book so she could check the stock, but by the time she got the book she forgot what she was looking for and had to come back and ask me. By that point it was the 3rd time I had to repeat what it was that I wanted… she clearly wasn’t listening. Then, when checking out, the manager brought the wrong item to the register. They charged me for a more expensive item(the one I wanted), which apparently they didn’t have in stock, and tried to give me the cheaper item which was not what I had asked for. I would have walked out of the store and gotten all the way home too if the box for the wrong item hadn’t been smaller than what I thought I had paid for. I could go on here, because that’s not the end of the story but to keep it short I almost ended up paying $ 100 more for an item because the employees here don’t apparently pay that much attention to what they are doing.
